I was asked to make a right turn at Lego and a right turn at Dargon then fly a straight into 38right and then divert to 38 left after I had tossed the ILS. It was crazy.
@@TJFlyingAdventures TJ, sorry I missed this, come to New Hampshire the leaves should be popping soon. Peak will be in a few weeks probably. The White mountains are pretty cool in the fall. If you come to Laconia, let me know, if I'm up here I'll buy you lunch. I'm looking for a place to go on the first weekend of October, was thinking Mackinack, but Massachusetts is requiring a 14 day quarantine if you go there.
I came in from the NE and got a 5 point right base 24, changed to 30 and thought 30 was a taxiway on the Jepp plate (paper). It was a runway of course but boy it looked sketchy. Parked in the grass and had an awesome day.
heavy radio workload but great that you used the approaches for a good visual reference between you and the intended landing runway . gotta love the visual approach in the G1000 .. nice job
Thanks... I even edited out most of the radio chatter between other aircraft. The radio was so busy we couldn't even talk in the cockpit at all for the last 20 mins of the flight :-)
My girl friend and I use to fly into Nantucket, the Cape, Block and Martha's Vineyard and I would do it as early in the day as possible to avoid the traffic.... Preferred the smother air anyway.
That was crazy! I hope you both enjoyed Nantucket. We use a similar a vest since we cross the Delaware and Chesapeake Bays so often, they are very comfortable. I had to modify them for the manual inflation vs the automatic.
Nantucket is a beautiful little island that is a popular destination for celebrities and the "rich and famous" ... We didn't see any celebrities... But the scenery was amazing and the ramp had some really nice planes!
Nice one especially the landing!

Yes … they juggle a lot of aircraft at this airport :-)
“There once was a man from Nantucket” 😮
😂 lol
Nantucket is a great destination, but it gets crazy in the summer. Nice job handling those changes.
Thanks! Looking for ideas for good places to fly in the fall... Any suggestions?

Often tough to get in … but fun destination when u get on ground ;-)
All those rich men north of Richmond in the private jets get priority.
Yea … sometimes it feels that way … but still a fun place after u eventually land :-)
Looks lot of traffic and nicely managed. Great video and good background music !
Wow 2 whoa’s on takeoff~ maybe turn around and ended with a scary a flight!! Tj~you’re a master ❤️

Nantucket was beautiful ... The Switlok vests I got were recommended to me by a pilot friend who lives in the Dominican Republic. I really like them.
"may be we should go back", "that was hairy-ass flight"...LOL!!! You need to compile a list of Lisa's comments.

Hi TJ. What is so special on the island that was a lot of traffic? Good video, as always.

@@TJFlyingAdventures You were the celebrity. JEJE. COPA is canceled, hope to see you at Sun and fun.
What glasses are you wearing with flashlight or something?
That is a wearable camera called Opkix One it can attach to your glasses with a magnetic clip or to a hat with a simple clip
The pilot and ATC audio is the focus -- not the music. Please consider lowering the music level.
Thanks for watching... I have tried to use the music more judiciously in my more recent videos :-)
Runway 30? Is that taxiway Charlie now?
Hmm … not sure
Your poor wife is a VERY nervous flyer lol
She is definitely a good sport :-)
Where’d you depart from?
And I’m guessing she doesn’t like to fly?🤣
Started at KPOU … she loves to fly when the weather is good there is less stress than this flight ;-)
Gee. the wife is having a blast - Must be great at parties. Yawn.
Lol … over the years she has experienced all kinds of excitement in the cockpit ;-)
Nervous passenger? She wanted to go back after only a minute or two
Haha ... it’s worse when we fly in weather ;-)
@@TJFlyingAdventures well thanks for sharing the video, planning a trip there
