Hello .i had the surgery 4 weeks ago and now I still feel pain and the knee still swollen . Also I fell like the I interior bone of the tibia is dislocated towards the hall where they insert the materials for the surgery.... every time I do a movement I feel so uncomfortable in the area interior.... is it possible that they dislocated my tibia or the meniscus???
Hi, I am sure you made a good decision to get surgery. It's normal to feel pain and have inflammation after the surgery for several months. The meniscus and surrounding structures are still healing. I doubt the meniscus is dislocated. A sign of a bigger issue would be a major loss of motion in the knee. If that happens, then contact your doctor. If you live in California, I'd be able to help you out with our online rehab programs. Otherwise, I recommend you continue physical therapy and check out our website for more articles and videos on meniscus healing as you continue improving. Your recovery will be an on-going process, but you will get better! Oh, I should also mention that we have the most potent turmeric on the market for controlling inflammation if you are still dealing with swelling and inflammation. You can learn more about why we have the best turmeric here: www.activeatoms.com/. - Dr. Marc (Physical Therapist)
You can download a free PDF I put together with 5 daily exercises to jump-start your meniscus tear healing. Click here to access the PDF: www.evercorelife.com/meniscus-tear-free-guide/
