So glad this video helped you, Alexis Perez! This book is GREAT for NCLEX practice questions: www.amazon.com/Saunders-Comprehensive-Review-NCLEX-RN-Examination/dp/0323358411/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=saunders&qid=1587574113&sr=8-2 The NCLEX Mastery App is awesome too: nclexmastery.com/ They have tons of options to filter through questions (fundamentals, pharmacology, med-surg, etc.), and they are very similar to the questions you'll see on the NCLEX®.

Honestly...just relax before school starts. I don't really think you have to study before school starts. I finished my program in 11 mos, did fine and graduated with a high GPA without any studying prior to the program. The best advice before school is to have FUN and RELAX... You can't really prepare for nursing school. It's hard to explain but honestly, just have fun before schools starts. During school, make sure you rest, exercise, sleep and you'll do fine! Also, take care of your mental health! Everyone will do great :)

@@serenityreid2686 Regis University in Denver. You need a BSN though to do the accelerated program. It’s super fast but I just made sure to sleep, eat and exercise when I can. Take care of yourself and it’ll be fine. Study their slides, find a good study person, one person is enough, don’t study when you’re tired lol Do test banks and you’ll do great!

Hi! So it’s going to get deep here for a second but it’s necessary for my question. Thank you for all your resources btw! I’m enjoying and learning so much already!
I’ve done six months as an aide in a memory care building at the local senior living facility. I took a break from ministry (I got my bachelors in family ministry) and the experience as an aide has me completely rethinking my career. I’m considering and praying about attending the LPN program nearby in the 2022-2023 school year. Unfortunately, I had to leave my position as an aide (😢) and currently working part time in the family business. I say all that to say- should I look for another job in the healthcare field while waiting to attend nursing school? I loved my job as an aide, it was different than ministry but still there was opportunity to share Christ’s love while on the floor. I loved that I got to care physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually for my residents. They’re “one of the least of these”. I’m seriously considering going into gerontology. However, I don’t need to work full time since my husband does, and this might be a nice break before starting school? It also allows me time to watch videos and review important topics before school? Thoughts?
