The garages always keep it a secret. One of my best friends decoded my Skoda Rapid to have cornering lights, hill climb assist, windows to roll down when you hold the unlock button on your key. I never knew my car had these features, but it was locked. I’m very curious how much a dealer would ask for this.

@@MrYugoWRC Yeah I could do with having a look at my ECU coding. My windows used to roll down with the hold of the key unlock button (very useful on a hot Summer day) but after having some work down at the garage they no longer do it! It's as if they unchecked a box in the ECU or something by mistake 🤔

Yeah. I remember when my mechanic would tell me he had reset it, like he had plugged it into the diagnostics, then this nice guy shows us how easy it is.
Look on it as a lesson learned. What else would they rob you for if that's an example of their workmanship?

I was on a variable service . When you reset it your self it will revert to a fixed service intervals for some reason so now I'm on 10k . 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
