I also have a '67 YVM-1. It's actually a voice PA and not a guitar amp. 4 independant channels, 1 EQ, FX loop. Mine has the original mullard 12ax7's and all mustard caps - actually the whole thing was original, but had to get the AC cord switched and the caps and power tubes replaced. The headroom on these amps are just insane! Because of the components these amps can be made into perfect Marshall Plexi replicas - which is what i'm going to do for 1 of my channels. Oh and there is no reverb.
in Canada these normally go for around 550CAD, to as high as 725 I paid 500$ for mine but had to put a bit of money into it to make it safe to use (touching the standby switch was a shocking experience sometimes) mines a 1969 yvm-1 custom combo and i love her to be totally honest
Wondering if treble was turned up?

Holy s**t! This amp sounds CLEAN, wow
and warm too!
Could use a little more bite, but nothing a RC Booster won't fix.
Nice. I just picked one of these up on eBay. Waiting for it to arrive to see what it's all about!
I have a 1980's TS100 Traynor Solid State I snagged off of Ebay, Gonna put Weber speakers in it though....grinz. Awesome amps in any fashion!
Now this sounds really cool. I wonder how it would take a n overdrive?
perfect tone...i have ygl 3 2x12 combo...
looks to me like he's adjusting a pedal knob at 1:30-ish there would be the reverb i guess...
+1 on where is that reverb coming from?!?!
What’s the deal with these kind of amps can you actually sing through them?
Have you still got this!?
Would you be able to post another demo without effects?
just wondering if you are trying to demo the traynor or your reverb/delay?way too wet to hear the amp dude-sorry.
Try clean ???!
any idea what kind of money these are worth? I have one sitting in my basement and i hate to see things like this go unused.
