I'm in love with my 2023 Taco 4x4 double cab! Got a base model SR so I could mod it, now got $10k into mods including: ABR Summit bumper (new style), 10k winch, light bar, spot lights, wheels, tires, canopy, rock slider steps, etc. Couldn't be happier! This is the last truck of an amazing era!
All Three Tacoma's did excellant. all yall have setups that anyone who likes to play in the snow, off road, would be proud of. Another great video.
Mike you make these overlanding adventures an experience with the information, cast-members, TRUCKS, music, and amazing footage!...they are like love letters to Taco Nation. Love this channel! I feel like I'm there and that I can do these things too. Keep doing what you're doing brother...nobody else does it like this...
Thanks for the kind words! These videos are by far the most fun to make too... hoping for many more in 2021!
I live in Minnesota and own a 2019 TRD Off Road Tacoma with 265/75/16 BFG KO2's and it is great in the snow! I keep some recovery boards and a shovel in the bed of my truck but have never had to use them thus far.
Don’t be jealous, we get to do this right from our driveway in the winter! haha 🇨🇦
I hear in Ohio the people drive the snow from the driveway in winter. Sorry my bad English.
The TRD skid plate on the white one makes a decent snow plow!
Great video. Really enjoyed it. Keep them coming.
Looks like a heck of a good time. My 2018 inferno red TRD Off Road has done well in this years snow in the Midwest. Going to take a special truck for me to ever consider trading. Great vids and content!!
Thanks for helping me decide what color I'm getting my tacoma. I'M GOING FOR THAT VOO DOO BLUE, BABY
Love these snow reviews
Very kool video you guys must have had a blast. All 3 Taco's are bad ass
That voodoo blue with the soft topper looks so gooooood. Soft toppers look best on Tacoma’s. TFL has one on their raptor and it literally made it the worst ugliest looking raptor I’ve ever seen in my life. The leds on the voodoo blue look so good as well.
I think soft tops just look cheap and cheasy even though they can be pretty expensive.
Great video, love all those taco's playing in the snow. I usually go play by myself with my taco in the snow :D
Just don't get stuck :-)
My Tacoma is absolutely amazing on ice and snow. Good snow tires is part of my rig in the harsh Canadian winter.
What are you running for tires Henry?
Tacoma has 9.5 inches clearance stock, these are lifted at least another 2" by tire size and suspension, so you figure 10+ inches of snow with little to no issue. Comparatively speaking. That's insane how good these are in snow.
Awesome video wish I could do some snow wheeling! Unfortunately live down south..one awesome piece of equipment I like in situations where I get stuck or someone else is a Kinetic rope.
I regret not getting a long bed.
All the rigs got you guys home safely too. Nice.
I have the 5' bed too, I regret not getting the 6'.
I've a got a 2018 with a winch and it's great. I did try some hefty chains on and they only work on the back and when I got them on snug the chains made knocking sounds. I took them off as I was worried they would damage something out in the middle of nowhere but for the few minutes in use it was like night and day.
Great looking trucks! I hope next time it'll be a combination of the cement, habanero, sand and army.
You guys need a winter tent with a wood stove. I wouldn't have left that area.
what fun!
I just bought my first Tacoma 2002 double cab 4x4. I can't wait to see what my truck is capable of. I love your videos. Keep em coming
Right on!
Blue truck softtopper FTW!
Nice rigs mate!
This video is awesome.
looks like fun
What tires are everyone running? Great video!
I like the voodoo blue color
I never drove my new 2020 in the snow. Had my stock tires. Subaru outback got stuck in this parking lot with about 15" of snow. I went up there on my stock shit ass tires just fine :) even took the truck on 2 trails with the stock tires it held up very well
Hey. What's the exhaust on the white one? Looks like fun. Thank you!
Good video 💣
Stats on each truck would of been great! But awesome vids man
I actually had a clip walking around all three rigs but the audio had some issues so I had to cut it out. Next time!
This is how the real men have to spend their weekend now in the US :-)
What a great video Mike! All three rigs look awesome. Are they all on 285/70r17 tires? Please keep bringing more Tacoma videos. Love them 👏
Blue and Black are on 285/70/r17 and white is running 285/75/r16
@@DrivenCompanion They all look good man! Love them. You have a lot of great videos, but this is my favorite 😊
@@DrivenCompanion are they lifted and how much?
I am curious about blue taco, what kind tires and lift?
Anyone have an opinion on the soft box cover versus a rigid one?
nice video!
Ive never been a fan of a locked center diff for snow. the truck will plow when steering. poor weight distribution makes that worse. Very few proper 4x4 vehicles can have an unlocked state for the center diff. i think g wagon and maybe some land cruisers
I have a question 🙋🏼♂️;! ? What setting do you put it in for the snow ? 4 high loose rock , or what? Prisheate it
What exhausts on the black and white tacomas?
Hey man!! Awesome vid!! I could be wrong but were you the guy selling your Prinsu rack for the FJ? thanks!!
Nope, I've got an FJ but no Prinsu rack
Are you guys running mud Terrain tiers?
What kind of tires are in use???
What’s the audio beat you’re using in this video?
I wanna buy one lol
what tires are you using? great video!!
Goodyear Wrangler Duractracs on mine
What brand winch and what was the damage? Burnt motor or just a fuse?
Rough Country. Haven't removed it yet... waiting till I get a new one to take the whole front end apart.
One thing to note is these trucks don't have stock tires.
You just got a fan beautiful build man debating to get one being a wrangler guy and all
Need a 1st generation taco too
and 2nd? :)
Did any of the tacos need to use the rear diff?
Other than when trying to get unstuck we didn't use them.
Did you pick a terrain for the snow? Always wondered why they didn't give us a snow terrain select.
Nope, only when it was stuck and we tried mud/sand
Who are the 3 assholes that dislike the video haters must be Ford owners
Stuck and hung up are two different problems!
Everybody with their short bed tacomas and I'm over here with my 6ft long bed off road...I cry no one really uploads long bed tacomas on RUclips now a days.
You did notice mine is a long bed right?
@@DrivenCompanion oh now I see it sorry first time I've been on your channel. Didn't realize your long bed until you said something anways nice set up subbed.
Glad I can fill the long bed niche for you!
Is your black tacoma lifted?
I recall Mike lifting the truck. I think it was a leveling kit.
Yes, It's got about 2-1/4" in the front and 1.5" in the rear
"it's pouring rain today" as he stands in a very light snow fall :|
Rain doesn't pick up on the camera well but trust me it was a wet one!
Offroading just seems so nervewracking.. lol.
