Thank you for the sharing this. Note, the screws require an extremely thin screw driver head, so if you get frustrated like i was not being able to fit it in, just take a fine grit sand paper and file the head of the screw driver from both sides so it will be thinner, then you will have your ultimate Breitling tool!
Joe! Thanks to this video, I have been able to size Breitling bracelets for customers! First a 3 row, then 2 five row bracelets and today I took 2 links out of a 7row bracelet! So happy I saw your video thanks. I’m so I’m glad I can do it now 😊🤗👍🏆Great video!
elsabe13 that is so awesome! I’m so happy I could help. Thanks for sharing! Make sure you check out my new video I just released today. It discusses the 1k subscriber giveaway. Don’t miss out.
Thank you so much for this video. I just received my new Breitling Aerospace Evo from Fed-ex, and it is too late to go to the watch repair place being late in the evening. I wanted to wear my new watch, but after removing one screw I couldn't figure how to remove the link. I never seen a bracelet the required two screws to be removed. It is a interesting way of designing a link.
My pleasure. This video is dedicated to DIY’ers like yourself. Glad I could assist. If you could do me a favor and subscribe, it would really make a difference. Thank you.
Hello, nice detailed video. I have a question. I am not able to get it small enough for my 6.5 inch wrist. At 8:00 in your video, you say "once we remove these screws from both sides" - those end screws do not seem to be removable. Do you know if they actually come off so that those two pieces can be removed? Would appreciate a reply! Thank you..
Karthik G thanks for watching. Any place that has an actual screw with a slot, you can remove with a screwdriver. If it is a blank with no slot, you won’t be able to remove. Hope that helps.
Brilliant. New chrono at arrived today, I’ve done resizing before on Rolex and many others but I got stuck on this due to the end screws where you need to unscrew both or hold one and unscrew the other. So couldn’t have done it without your help. Cheers buddy
According to Breitling...a special type of glue is added to the screw itself prior to screwing it together. This will further allow the screw to adhere even better to the actual link
Soak it WD-40 overnight and try again. Make sure you have the right sized screw driver. I used a set from the dollar store so you don’t need anything fancy my friend. Let me know how you make out.
Hey, great video but what size flathead will I need? I have tried with a 0.8mm and it does not work. Do you have a link for anything smaller that could work? Please let me know. Thank you very much.
Excellent question and sorry I forgot to mention it in the video. The way it was constructed, it’s virtually indestructible. The spacing of the links also doesn’t pull your arm hairs as well. One of the best quality bracelets I’ve ever seen, plus the design element is very unique.
2nd time I have watched this You Tube video. I have to add links yto my watch band. I understand what have to do, I have the tools, whether I will challenge myself or go to a jeweler, I am not sure. Thanks for your help!
Joel Kleiner absolutely! Sometimes it takes a few times to watch to get the confidence to do it. You can totally do it! Just figure if you get stuck you can always take it to a jeweler.
Casio's wave ceptor bracelet is practical to be adjusted, not this. Talking about WVA-M650 model, but i think all of them have the same practicality. Just push a button (whole) in the middle of the bracelet from the inside part, and the links can be removed. And, the links are magnetic, you only need to place them close one another and they connect directly so the button can be released and the pins connect. It seems that the more expensive the watches are, the more difficult it is to adjust the bracelet so that you need to take them to the official shop and pay a hefty sum of money.
@@Viininlipittaja that’s a amazing feedback. Exactly what I was going for. A video for the Average Joe. 😉 thank you my friend. Please subscribe and hit the notification bell if you’re interested in more tutorials. I’m planning on doing more in the upcoming weeks.
I would try some WD-40 on the screws and try again. Maybe you need another size screwdriver? Remember to use two, one on each side or it will keep spinning.
I was informed by Breitling that a special type of glue is used on some bracelet screws prior to tightening them. This could have been the primary reason for the resistance you experienced. I’m currently having a link bar/spring bar/link axel...not entirely sure what they’re called. But, it’s being serviced by Breitling right now.
"One of my favorite watch designs of all time" *proceeds to explain what a pain in the a$$ it is to remove the clasp* lol great video honestly. I have this bracelet and the design is definitely cool but wow, there was a lot of swearing when I had to undo both sets of clasp screws!

Very nice video my friend great demo ,I would put little strips of painters tape on the exposed parts in case of a slip to avoid scratches
Good tip my friend. For me, I know the watch will get scratched anyway so I don’t even bother. 😁
Thankyou so much for this video! I took the screws out and nothing!
Was going to take it to a jeweler.

Great video. I need to add links back on my Breitling. I’ll wait until my watch repair kit arrives. Its just easier when you have the correct tools.
Thanks so much. Glad I could help.
According to Breitling...a special type of glue is added to the screw itself prior to screwing it together. This will further allow the screw to adhere even better to the actual link
Very helpful thanks! Should one use locktite when replacing the screws?
elsabe13...It’s really not necessary since they won’t come out with just a tightening. Thank you for watching.
Avg. Joe Watch Reviews - thanks, appreciate that! I may have to size a bracelet in the near future! Your video helps! I dread the Navitimer!
Avg. Joe Watch Reviews the Breitling trainer told me the slanted angles in the links represent the slant of an aeroplane’s Wings 😊
elsabe13 that is a collectors watch that holds its value well. One of the few Breitling’s that retain its value. Nice choice.
elsabe13 never knew that. Makes sense. Thanks for sharing. Check me out on IG if you haven’t already.

I tried with 1.4mm and 1.0mm first but didnt work. However tried with 1.6mm and it worked! I dont know how to explain but try with 1.5 or 1.6!
Can you only remove links at the ends of the bracelet? I want to remove / replace links in the *_middle_* of the bracelet.
If there aren’t screws, I’m afraid you won’t be able to remove them. You’d need to go to someone equipped to do something like that.
I have a question, what is practical application of this bracel as you mentioned in beginning of the video!?

You do NOT have to remove the links attached to the clasp. The middle links are all that have to be removed. Five minutes , tops
Hello what is the type of screwdriver used here? I can’t seem to find one small enough
Jack Binnnington just a typical set of small screwdrivers. I think I got this at the 1.00 store actually.
Avg. Joe Watch Reviews thanks but what size head does it need to?
That I don’t know. Sorry. I’d look on Amazon for a set of screwdrivers for watches. Should have the right size there.
How to open last row bracelet, they have 2 way screw on every end

Still this video doesn’t show how to remove the two opposing screws on the half link which is the difficult part. Useless video!
