This is how to resize a watch bracelet with screws. Most watch bracelets contain pins or screws. The procedure for resizing both types of watch bracelets is very similar. For the perfect fit, always visit the authorized dealer to have the watch bracelet resized. #Timepiece #Howto

Thanks for the video. When I got my Tudor Ranger the assistant sized it a little lose for my liking, but he said taking another link out would make it too tight. What he and I both forgot at the time is the Ranger bracelet has the ability to adjust small amounts with a mechanism in the catch. So another link out it is. It's good to see you do it before I try it on my new watch. Also worth adding the Tudor dealer I used put some threadlocker (loctite) on the screws - this seems like a good idea.

The Tudor Ranger has a superior T-Fit bracelet. That bracelet allows micro-adjustments, similar to GlideLock on Rolex.

@@IrixGuy yep, unfortunately when he sized it (too loose imo) the t-fit was already at its tightest setting so I can’t use it to take up the unwanted slack. But if I loosen the t-fit and remove a link I should get the perfect fit. Thanks again for the video.

Very helpful vid, thank you. And a quick and maybe silly question. I just received an oyster style bracelet from ebay and would like to size it, but not sure if it's a folded pin or screw bracelet. Is there a way to easily know?

Can you see the flat-head holes for a screwdriver while looking at the bracelet from the side? If not, it likely uses pins. Thank you for your viewership and please subscribe and check out all of my Timepieces for Tomorrow videos!

What if I need to remove three links? Should I remove the two at 6 o'clock and one at 12 o'clock?

It’s a matter of personal preference but rotating 12/6 or 6/12 is the correct approach. Since it’s an ofd number, you’ll either have 2 removed at 12 or 2 removed at 6. Personally I’d rather have the 2 removed at 6 & the 1 at 12.
