She's so lovely Juli and how your brought her to life - such love & attention to all the finer sweet little details like the little freckles, hair colour & eye shadow and how you handmade her sweet pendant. Just beautiful 💕
I am about to do my first custom Blythe too. I love that I found this channel! I was already a subscriber to your other one. ☺️ Love that connection… ❤
Aww, yay, thank you for the support--I'm so happy we can connect through decks and dolls! Hope you have fun with your first custom 💜 It can feel daunting to just begin, which is why I procrastinated for the looongest time 😆
Your Coraline doll looks fabulous. The hair colour is lovely and unique! I really like the subtlety of the face up. I currently have a doll which I am trying to customise - although I bought the face plate already done on Etsy so that was most of the job done. I'm also planning on using the Licca body with her and been trying to use rubberbands on the neck joint so that the head doesn't wobble - do you have any tips for dealing with that?
Thank you so much, March! I'm afraid the only tip I have for the wobbly head is the same one you already know, which is to use rubberbands. I actually prefer the clear hair elastics, since they feel less likely to degrade and break so soon (they have a more plastic than rubber feel to them). But with this custom, the wobbly head wasn't an issue at all, so I didn't have to use anything! 🙌🏻
You done a really good julie. Ive just brought my first factory doll and would love to learn how to do sleepy eyes with dramatic eyeshadow and a pattern at the back of the head❤❤
Thank you so much, B! BeBeDolls on YT has a great tutorial on how to do sleepy eyes that I watched to learn how to do it. I would also love to learn how to paint the eyelids and back of the faceplate with lovely patterns!
Omg Juli! You did such a great job! I love her! You are so brave! 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much, Kim! It was definitely an intimidating project, but I took it very slow, which helped a lot! 💙💜
