Your Art, Your Crafts, Your Sewing, ALL OF IT! Just Second to None. ;-) The little purse and shoes are so cute. Oh Gosh, EVERYTHING so cute. YOU are going to do so well at the UK BlytheCon 2023.
Oh Beth, she is simply perfect in every way. You are so extremely talented in everything you do. I LOVE green and pink together, and everything you have made for her is stunning. I would be so proud to own one of your beautiful dolls.
I love the BASAAT Blythes. They are not as easy to Custom, but they are so petite in size. ;-) You are braver than I with the carving. And you do such a nice job with it.
I have the same doll how did you manage to remove the eyechips? I just couldn’t despite soaking in soap and water and using a glue stick. drilling into them scares me 😢
@greenwillow28 I believe they also had to drill the chips out too 🥲 An alternative would be to buy an empty eye mech from AliExpress, I have seen just the white part of the eyes for sale before 👍
i love her..... and both of her outfits are just adorable, cant choose a best since they work so perfectly together. The dodo is just the right touch....you really are in your niche for art dolls!!! I would love to get a custom Middie set from you with lookie lou eyes too!!!! when you want to do a custom pls add me to your list of future work, not even kidding!!!

She turned out amazingly! I love the Basaak sculpt - some of my favourite customs that I've seen are Basaaks - they have such darling little faces, and yours is just wonderful!!! Everything you made was just gorgeous!!!
Thank you so much!! Ooh I’ll have to try to find some more to look at, I don’t think I’ve seen many other custom Basaak myself 😊 In glad you enjoyed this! 🤩
She is stunning. It's amazing what you can do with such an inexpensive doll. I love that particular green that you've used, as well as the fact that you've given her a dodo motif. I like the fact that you also gave her a name which is very in keeping with the names they give to stock Blythe dolls. Oh and the neck ruff 😍I am a BIG fan of neck ruffs, in fact I almost got married in a black neck ruff but didn't, oh well, maybe next time...
Thank you March! This kind of soft colour palette has really grown on me in my old age 😆 I’m glad you noticed that about her name, I love the cadence of the stock girls names ☺️ Hoho! I bet you would’ve looked spectacular! 🤩 Oh no, next time! 😅😆
Awwww that’s so sweet 🥹 Thank you very much Flavia ☺️ Yes they’re really enjoyable to use! Super fine and pigmented, and much neater than my previous loose powder method ✨😆✨
Aw Beth, she's so darling. I adore the outfits you made for her. Woman you're so gifted with all that creative talent!👍🥰 thank you for sharing this wonderful proces with us!
She's wonderful and I love the fabric you designed, I love dodo's! Wish I could carve Blythe faces. I tried for the 1st time for today's fairy collab and barely made a difference! Good luck on Sunday! 💗
You are an incredibly talented lady who makes this look so easy. I was sculping my first Blythe faceplate today and feel that I've overestimated my capabilities. My adult son reckons it looks okay, but I'm not happy with it at all. I was inspired to give it a go from your videos. I'll buy a new faceplate and keep practising. Mint is absolutely beautiful and I think she'll sell very quickly - I'd love to buy her if I could afford her!
Thank you! ☺️ it certainly takes some practice, I’m so glad we can buy face plates to practice with! I’m sure you’ll see great progress, I hope you have fun with it! 🥰
@@BethRamsden thank you! May I ask- did you only use the pan pastel set for her face? I’m thinking of investing in that brand, but not sure what colors I’ll need as staples.
@@thisisfarrah I've been using a combination of chalk pastel/watercolour paint/acrylic paint/gouache paint/watercolour pencils for my face ups, the Pan pastels are brand new to me (a lovely gift!) Beth, I love this full tutorial for the Mint Carousel Blythe Doll. I might have to check into Ali-Express myself and start customizing a doll here and there. You make it look so easy and I just love the clothing ensembles that you have professionally prepared for this doll. Her hair is just beautiful that color is gorgeous and the eye chips you created by hand are so realistic for her eyes. I really love the way you carved out the eye crease above the eye openings.
