This track will always have a place in my heart. 2021, I remember staying with my dad at the hospital for a month and a half before he finally passed of covid complications. I spent most of the time breeding for shinies. This track took me right back to those days in 2021. Rest in Piece dad.
Wow I never knew how fantastic the wild area themes are. The combination of what sounds like bagpipes, trumpets and other instruments fits perfectly for the vast wilderness of the wild area. Thanks for uploading this extended version!
Agree, and it's crazy to my brain right now that this game already came out 3 fucking years ago. The wild area themes are the ones I come back to the most often. Even though SW&SH didn't resonate with me as much as all the previous games, the amount of nostalgia I have for it is surprising.
RING RING! *whistle sound* *Pokemon popping into existence sound* *faint Max Den sound* *exclamation mark pop sound effect* *the music cuts to the Wild Battle Theme*
I disliked the game the first playthrough. Played it a second and a third and I’m enjoying it. Still has its major flaws but the music never disappoints.
I'm really partial to the smooth jazz of gen 4, but it was limited by the DS soundfont. That said the one thing GF never fails to deliver on is the music.
Easily one of the best tunes of the game. If you love the bagpipes vibes of this song, I highly recommend a song from a 10-year-old hidden gem of the Wii catalogue, which sounds very similar: ruclips.net/video/Qhl8u-4fNbc/видео.html
When your DNA test results show you're 1% Scottish
Dude, I'm half Japanese, and I'm at least 1% Scottish... '_'
I'm more Scottish it's perfect
@@KotaJMomoI’ll buy it off you. :o
@@TomMentchHow many percentages you’re offering.
I'm 50% 😈 Father was born there and immigrated to the U.S. later.

Gamefreak: Yes
Ironic as the Crown Tundra is the part of Galar that’s based on Scotland.
This comment makes no sense
those bagpipes are amazing

man, sorry for your loss. Hope your dad is in a better place now ❤
Sorry to hear that man
Sorry, for your loss😢.
wow really sad :(
though I did giggle at rest in piece :/ sorry
I'm so sorry for your loss
biking on the wild had never been this adventurous and fun.
Brings me back to 2020 during Covid. Even though there was all the madness going on, this song and game got me through it
These games may have all the flaws you want, but music was definitely nailed, almost none of the themes doesn't stand out

And for the British themed Galar Region.

@@pinacolaaadas Same here ;-;
Best part is it captured the original title screen from Red/Blue and kept the same sense of a big adventure coming
As someone from scotland, I can confirm this is truly a bagpipe moment
Thou craves these bagpipes 👏🏻
1:37 is my favorite part of this entire game's soundtrack
Same, when I got this game on Christmas I was SO happy. So that part brings back so much nostalgia for me🥲

This is probably the best part of the song. A shame we never hear it again after the beat picks up.
Kinda sound like botw music
I was thinking of Tears of The Kingdom when I heard that

Link waking up in a dark cave and running outside with a camera pan moving across the field, focusing on an old man in the distance...
underated soundtrack.
While I wouldn’t call this my favorite pokemon generation, I still got some enjoyment out of it, and I loved the music!
I love this game so much, truly had so much fun playing the game
This track makes the Wild Area feel grander than it actually is. I love it.
Tfw Stufful hops towards you out of the grass and wants to play ^_^

Also yamper/rockruff, it’s pretty cute

Sword and Shield's story was good, but its OST is terribly underrated.
everyone is talking about the bagpipes but do not forget the celtic dulcimer please
I disliked the game the first playthrough.

Sword and shield may have had its problems, but God Damm if it didn't have the best soundtrack of any pokemon game to date

What makes me a good demoman?
Well if I were a bad demoman, I wouldn't be sittin' here discussin' it with ya now would I?
this goes so fucking dumby hard. i havent even played the game but i listen to this soundtrack daily :-)
when i first heard this while watching a pokemon sold and sheird shitpost i was awestruck
If only the rest of the game was as good as the music.
Only this one is good i think. Like the game, there's only one great idea in a sea of sad mediocrity
@@marmite-land Nah, there are plenty of great tracks. Motostoke, Gym Battle, Trainer Battle, and the Champion themes just to name a few
Anyone ever go and call their pokemon lad or lass while playing this game?

yes, they're just shorter versions though.
Sword and Shield ost > Scarlet Voilet ost
My man Go Ichinose and Tobby Fox killed it with the bag pipes and clarsach (Celtic harp)
This was a Minako Adachi composition. The others had little to no involvement in its creation.
