When you think about it, the hoenn trainer theme for thr first half and her standalone theme for the second makrs a lot of sense. The first fight you have with her is in Granite Cave, where she uses the standard trainer theme.
tbh, the regular trainer theme and her own original theme being mixed in together makes sense. Is she a normal person, is she who she wants to be, or is she doing all of this because she's told to, because it's "her destiny"? She's two people. Zinnia, a girl afraid of the inevitable future, but she's also Zinnia, the Lorekeeper and successor to Aster, the strongest Pokémon wielder of the Draconid people. Either way, both halves of who she is combine to create one whole person, the Zinnia we all know and love. She's learned from both parts of her life, and become a better person, understanding what she must do in order to be the best she can be and to protect the world in the process, a goal that she twisted to fit how SHE wants to go about it.

I want Zinnia to be in the gen4 remakes SOOO hard. come on, the legendary trio of the region are three dragnos, if they did something like delta episode for giratina, where maybe she teams up with cyrus to catch it but understands that he's a psycopath and helps you beat him again idk, Zinnia is my favorite pokemon charachter and she deserves more
This song makes me feel like im being gaslit by the generic trainer portions of the song. Like "Oh Zinnia never had a unique theme 😂" and then the real theme actually kicks in for a moment before switching back to the generic one. Why did they gut one of the best themes like this?!
Because. Without the fate of the world on her shoulders, she's just like any of the rest of the trainers from Hoenn... here for a good fight, _until_ she reminds you who you're dealing with.
