You have no idea how I feel right now. Finally I can continue my art. The struggle is real but my enthusiasm & ambition for Art is more real.
Great tutorial on painting wet, juicy lips. One tip is to think in three dimensions and buy a skull replica like Sam's. Humans have a muzzle that projects out (subtle compared with a dog or cat) which means the lips wrap around our maxilla and mandible. If you're a lip person, then go for the saturated lips like Sam's. This is a preference and there is no right or wrong. I tend to use a more desaturated color for the lips.

I just started learning how to draw like 2 weeks ago. Everything seems to be going pretty good so far. I've learned a bunch of stuff in such a small amount of time. Mostly I've been doing front facing character faces. This really helped me to draw lips properly. Much better than other tutorials I've found on the internet. Would it be possible to do a tutorial on how to draw noses? Those seem to be giving me the most problems at the moment.

Dang, this works really well! I'd all but given up on drawing lips since it tends to look like the poor character is having an allergic reaction when I try, but this breaks it down really helpfully.

This can be seen in his fan art of The Last Of Us show where he drew Ellie and Joel, and drew Ellie (a 14 year old girl) with the exact same “beautiful” art style he uses for other adult women
