Despite some location shortcomings, my stay at Windward Point was very enjoyable. Rooms are well appointed and the pool area is pleasant. Biggest downside ,all 2 bedroom units consumes lots of timeshare points, not good for couples like us looking to get the most from our points in the Hyatt system..
I feel that all timeshares should offer 2 bdrm with lock-offs as that makes the unit much more versatile. Two bedrooms does us no good as we only need one bedroom.
Is there access to go to the beach/swim in the ocean?!
There is a public beach down the street, but this property isn't located directly on a beach. Hyatt Beach House would be better for that.
Hi can you bike around there or too busy? Just curious

Hey, thanks for watching! There is a wide concrete sidewalk/boardwalk on the other side of the street from the resort. It does seem to go quite a ways down toward Old Town area where you could then possibly also ride around in residential areas. I do seem to recall them having bikes at the resort that looked like rentals but I don't know if you can rent them from the resort or if they were from an offsite service.. You can see them at the 10:59 mark.

Can’t wait for the next video. Did you trade via Ii or was it a getaway? I’ve stayed at the Marriott Beachside resort on the same road. It was kind of far from the main key west area. Marriott had a nice shuttle to go to and from.
This was an II trade. This resort is so close to the airport that you could walk. Of course it is also a drawback in that there is aircraft noise almost all day long. I will be talking about that in a future video. Thanks for watching Tina S!
@@DestinationTimeshare Bummer. We stay at the Marriott Kauai Lagoons on Kauai and it was horrible with the helicopter noise. I've never seen a complaint about it but you couldn't sit out on the lanai without hearing every 5 minutes. I'll still look forward to your review though. Now that I'm not locked into school Holidays I was hoping Key West would be an easier trade.
@@tinas4946 We stayed at Kauai Lagoons back in 2013 and I also remember that. The airport is so close there too. It certainly does take away from the resort experience.
We never really realized the noise from the airport after the first day
