Abandoned and Spooky RAF Rivenhall Ruins | Look Around in 360º | Very Eerie Place

Today let's explore this abandoned remains of RAF Rivenhall ruins.
Most of this site was abandoned since 1975. Although some areas were still used up until 2005, it is now completely abandoned and crumbling. Nature will take back the place sooner or later, so it won't be there for long.
These abandoned and derelict places often reach a stage where they become unsafe to explore. Even though it’s hidden among the trees and overgrown greenery, there is still a lot to see around here.
The history of this site is quite interesting. It was opened in 1943, 79 years ago. It has had 3 main uses - beginning life as an RAF Rivenhall and then being used as a Polish refugee camp. The site's been also used by Marconi radar for some time.
RAF Rivenhall is a former WW2 airfield located between the villages of Silver End & Rivenhall in Essex. It was built mid war and was opened in October 1943. It was initially used by the Americans and then the English, and it housed several types of aircraft, including B-26 bombers, P-51 Mustang fighters, C-47s, Short Sterling's, and gliders.

Enjoyed the video and reading about the history. I prefer to think of it as a historical staging grounds during some tragic times and then a place of refuge.
