I walked around the site a few years ago and couldn’t access some of those buildings because they were buried in undergrowth. It’s great to see your video and it’s enabled me to complete my visit, so to speak.
Thanks for yet another brilliantly put together documentary.
Great to hear, thank you!
Amazing find!
We explored here last year, can't believe how much its changed, looks like a completely different place with all the trees and ivy removed. That house looked like just a little cottage when we went, and I was sure it was only being held together but the ivy! It was creaking so much we thought it was gonna fall down with us in it! Would be interesting to see if they'd actually manage to save it.. Great video as always 👍
Haha yep not in the best of condition! Hopefully less ivy to crack it now, this was a few months back so it may have changed since. Definitely intrigued to see exactly what they plan for it. Cheers guys :)
Hi mate. I’m a long time subscriber to Tom outdoors and he gave you guys a bit of a shout out so I’ve come across to subscribe. I absolutely love all the English history. Great channel. Time to do some binge watching
Awesome and welcome, cheers to Tom for that! Enjoy :)
A really nice find there guys!! It`s nice to know you can still find places like this nowadays, glad it`s going to be reused hope it will retain it`s character particularly the flight office!! Again another great video.
Thanks a lot 😁 definitely a lot of character left in these buildings
interesting video, just wish it was longer lol
This is so cool! Kinda creepy (aren’t all abandoned buildings?) but amazing that there’s so much history untouched and there are people’s lives and stories that we don’t know about.
Indeed! There certainly is and it’s worth us finding out even just a small part of it
Always an interesting video guys, one thing in life that is certain is change, not always for the better, but at least the building is going to hopefully be reused and maybe last another 100 years. :-)
Good point indeed Steve, cheers for commenting!
I hope you don't mind but we recently did a video of a walk around Rivenhall and included this video of yours as a link on ours.
No problem at all thanks, we'll check it out :)
