Logan plays charlie SO perfectly. He really captures the character's kindness and good heart. I love this scene so much♥ If you havent already, look up the deleted Poem scene, its beautiful. ((And if you havent, READ THE BOOK))
honestly i don't know why they cut this scene out this scene is what really defines their relationship as siblings in the book in the movie it made the sister seem more shallow
It's cause the director/author of the book wanted teenagers to watch this movie cause that's who its for and this scene would have given it an R rating which is so sad cause it's so important. It be nice if an extended cut existed but it is what it is
Why did they delete this scene! It really captures his personality well along with a bit more insight to what happened when him and his aunt watched tv
Looking through these deleted scenes of the movie, I question why didnt they put them in? All of them were powerful scenes. I felt that there was other things that could of been cut to allow these more important scenes to be included. If not that then I wouldn't of minded the film being a little longer. I could understand cutting them if they didnt add anything 2 the film but they did!
this scene would have change the tone of the movie a bit. it was super nice seeing charlie being there for his sister and their relationship, but her getting an abortion is just so sad.
I don't understand why they would delete such important scenes
They took out a lot from the book to make it lighter and less depressing. They do this very often even with John Greens books
It changed the rating of the movie to an R rating.
In the book, Candice got an abortion (hence the clinic in this scene) and if they left that in the film, it would be rated R.

This should've been in the movie. What a shame they left it out.
This just make me love Charlie even more
I really with this scene wasn’t deleted it’s so cute Charlie caring about Candace so mich
Despite the fact that Candace hadn't been the best sister to him
Elena has two brothers (Vampire Diaries fans will understand)

I don't need someone like Charlie. I need Charlie.
Me too
Preach
This scene makes me love them both.

I cried reading the book and I cried during the movie
i wish i had a charlie in my life
Should be obvious why they cut this out, abortion is such a touchy subject reguardless of what time this was supposed to take place.
if any of you read the book you might get this scene. So heartbreaking

here she looks like a double genre of Selena Gomez, especially on first 10-15 sec
I need to get the book
Huh. I remember watching this.

¡Eso si sale en el libro! Es cuando lleva a candace a que le practiquen un aborto
ELENAAA
i read the book yet am not quite remembering this?? can you explain
I agree. Extremely controversial. It would've made some people not like her even more.
why did they delete this? :(
they cut it out so the movie wouldn't be rated R
I thought that was Steven R. McQueen.. And then I got sad
WHY FGS ISNT THIS IN THE MOVIE!?!??!??!
i wish i was nina dobrev in this moment! or emme watson dureing the whole movie!
