I had only seen videos where they roll them with a bat. Great coverage! I might need to do this one day on one of my Fox's you never know. 👊
I will hook you up brother👊🏻
Hey Matt, Thanks for putting me on to this guy in a shout out from one of your videos.
@@oldfoxer1648 👊
Best technique i've seen on You Tube...I like how you did that! 👏
Great tip on using the car's suspension via a jack to lever up the rolling wheel. The only other video I saw of this was a body builder really cranking on it and had me worried it required a lot more brute strength. I only have one Jack but can put the body on a one of my harbor freight murder stands and hope for the best. Sound was much better and greatly appreciated.
VacFink glad it was better! Watch out for those stands!
outstanding video on how to roll the inner fender, now i know how to do it right with out using the bat trick
Thanks! Glad I could help👊🏻
That was cool ive never actually seen that done befor i like all the details, that time laps worked out ok i think, good stuff brother 🔴🇺🇸🔧👍
Thanks man!
I have always heard of this, but never have seen it done. Thanks!
I hope you do a video on refinishing the metal window trim. I know it's fairly straightforward but I would watch it lol.
07bluelbz coming soon to a RUclips channel near you. Actually doing that vid along with restoring the 1/4 windows
Thanks for the content 417 FOX. I heard rolling the fenders mentioned briefly on numerous RUclips videos and never really knew what was being done or how to do it. I feel a whole lot more informed. Thanks a bunch. You turned that time lapse mistake around very nicely. It worked out well. Just like you meant to do it in the first place.
Haha! Thanks and glad I can help!👍🏻
Never heard of this ... This is dope 💥
Great video and well needed on RUclips. Looking forward to all your other videos.
Awesome video. I have the tool to from Eastwood lol I'm happy you did this with the Jack under the rear end. I would have never thought to do that. Thank you so much brother. I'm gonna do this next weekend
I never had luck with that tool.. co.e to find out i was using it wrong the whole time and would never roll fenders unless the car was going to be painted! Thankyou much and off to buy a new roller
That's professional work right there! Turned out very nice on the roll. Excellent video.
Cobras,Lxs,&Gts thanks brother!
that was a good tip using the jack to raise the suspension
Videos are awesome man, I’m looking for a local fox to build myself with good bones and will definitely use your content when I find the perfect match for me. I currently own a 93 cobra and we all know you keep em stock when they have low miles. However watching you, gear head, Gfunk and CLG I Cant wait to start a project. Great content fella!!! 👍🇺🇸
Glad I can help Aaron. Thanks for watching!👍🏻👊🏻
Thanks for the vid! I've just got the same roller and was planning on rolling my fenders to clear my new wheels before paint! This is perfect.
I am glad I could help! 👍🏻👊🏻
Sweeeet vid! My brother has been into fox body's for years and him and his talked about rolling the fenders. I never asked what that meant because didn't want to seem dumb...DUMB NO MORE!
THANKS for the video 417
Haha! Love it
Awesome job brother! As someone already posted (but worth repeating) excellent tip on using a jack on the suspension. Thanks very much for the Amazon info on the roller. I wished I had a roller but couldn’t justify the money most were asking. Thanks to your Amazon info can we say “new tool”?! It is now officially on my buying list.
JKWilson61 I love the feedback brother! Keeps me motivated
Thank you for the tips
great video! You're doing great!
Thanks!
Time lapse Got ya!
Yeah yeah yeah lol 🤦🏻♂️
Thanks for sharing
Looks legit man!
You the man!
thanks ..great vid
Thanks so much for tips!!!
I dont roll them i die grind them and leave like and 1/8 of the lip 18 by 10 rim tire setup 😊kool tho for the ones who dont have the machinery 😊
If you're not repainting, Should you reheat during the rolling process to keep it warm? Or will 1 heating in the beginning be sufficient?
Heating will help but in all l likelihood paint will still chip
@@417fox So the best advise is be prepared to have the paint repaired if someone attempts to roll the fenders on a car with good Paint finish.
I live in N Ar and drive to Bolivar Mo every weekend where r u located in the 417
@@randybillings8220 little town called Brighton. You pass it on the way to Bolivar on 13
I want to roll my fenders, but I have always worried about the inside of the fold holding more debris and moisture longer causing premature rust. Thoughts?
Lot of factors depending on location and what conditions you drive in. Never heard it being an issue but I am not sure. There are always pros and cons to modding these cars. The risk we take for getting the meats
Well since the rolled flange is going to catch water and rust, why not just cut it off?
Bc there is actually some welded spots right on top that you don't wanna cut because it's to hold the rear quarter in tact. 😊
I have 275/45/17 on 10 in wheels. The car is also lowered and it doesn't rub, nor are the fenders rolled. Do people just assume they need to do this no matter what?
No. Usually 10” and more than 285 you will rub.
@@417fox other RUclips'ers are doing this for 275's. They should get banned for spreading disinformation. 😆
And i see lots of replies "I gotta do mine". They're probably running 245s.
@@Anthony-rv3hr well we put either 295s or 305s on this car. I have 285s 18s on mine and they would definitely rub
I wish the previous owner rolled the fenders before painting. It's freshly painted and I'm scared to crack the painr
There is a high possibility the paint will crack.
Will the roller work for 4 lug?
Most any roller is universal and will.
Does this flare out the quarter panels? I want to do this but im afraid it will flare the wheel opening.. Great video sir!!
