@@joshholden8561 yeah the AAK 6k is rated at 1700 watts rms at 4 ohms just a little less than my CXA 1800.1 and I'm charging at 15.8 for the SCIB bank so either amp is going to see around 2200 watts I'm going to get better subs before I wire the amp down to 1 ohm with the extra voltage it's going to see well over 7k that would definitely be the first, last and only time they would play if I hooked it up like that lol 😂
I put the L7s subs in the quad box pulled the L7r and sold those subs I did 152 on a smart 5 k in a suv I did 149.9 with L7r that came in the box the L7;s moves quite a bit more air
@@aarongiles7275 Aaron really it's not worth buying the quad box for 1300 dollars then pulling the subs just to put L7S version in the quad box it's barely louder if u was gonna replace the subs that come in the quad box I'd put solo x subs in there but I'm pretty sure the baffle CANNOT hold the weight of 4 solo x subs idk how loud ur trying to be but that quad box does over 150 db on one kicker kxa 2400.1 what is ur goal?

I have a CX800.1 powering my 10” CompQ 10” in an MBE box 2.25 Cu tuned at 33hz and I’m giving it every bit of that 700 + RMS and I’ve cranked her all the way until hyper extension and clapping (NOT CLIPPING) but that clap noise you hear when the sub hyper extends because my box is at the max realm of size recommended by kicker. She takes all that 700RMS for as long as I want most I’ve driven at that level is a little over an hour straight of hard lows in hiphop and RNB.
Well I don't know how much power I need but I do know the new deafbonce AAK 6k I got yesterday is going to really move these 12" Q-class L7 LoL 😆
Bro that amp will rip those q class subs apart the surround technology is garbage and that's why they discontinued the q class sub
A 12 in q class only safely handles about 1200 RMS and that's pushing it to the limit

Love my Quad box in a veloster being pushed by a Skar Rp3500d but I might upgrade to the L7s subs... what are your thoughts on the possible uprade?

Is ur amp the cxa 800.1? U mean? Or the cx 800.1 like u said that 800.1 kicker amp does close to 1500 watts burst dynamic power it's a little beast
