I actually have a very useful hack which will make it easier to differentiate between affect and effect: when you want to use affect or effect while writing and don't know which one to use, simply try replacing it with the word 'result'. if 'result' fits in the sentence, then you should use 'effect' and if not, use 'affect'. For example in the sentence 'Weather affects/effects crops', replace the word with 'result.' It'll be 'Weather results crops.' It doesn't fit in the sentence, therefore use the word affect for this sentence. If result would have made sense in this sentence, we would use 'effect.'

Your voice is SO different when you speak American English... that's amazing, but I still prefer your UK accent, it's WONDERFUL

At times, I could mix 👈 left and right 👉, as a grown-up, I couldn't believe that my mind can't differentiate between the two, which lead to doubts in my mind all times I come across words that a similar pronunciation with different meanings have struggled during chats in my head. Till today I watched this video, thanks much. Any video from you it's a must watch for me.

only the word "lot" in that sentence has different pronunciation in American English, it wouldn't have sounded too different if not for the robotic tone.

If a native speaker gets confused, imagine the difficulties of non-English speaking teachers. As a teacher of English my most difficult job is to teach poetry. Your video is worth watching. Thanks.
