You are a fantastic teacher . I see some limits in my English , even though I’ve used it my entire life. I learned English at the age of 13, with the help of the Felician Sisters in Catholic School, who made sure I could speak it within one year. They were fantastic teachers. It was hard. Finished schools, had various responsible jobs, in insurance, banking, and public relations/advertising but your videos are eye opening. It’s too late for me now I’ve retired, now am 76 years old.
I enjoy your teachings. Never stop learning. Nice, thank you.

I find your lesson extremely interesting, especially for advanced students. Why? Because they are induced?) to understand spoken English even before seeing the written form, which is the most difficult thing for a foreigner, especially for an Italian person.

    Ms. Lisa,
Honestly, I owe you a favour, do you know because of you, I have moved my English to the next level, I wish to see you and kiss your forehead (In our Arabic culture to kiss someone on his/her forehead is to express your gratitude, thankful and appreciation)
You must feel happy and comfortable until the last of your life because you have done your great mission in this life which is the greatest and the best thing that we as human beings have to do, (it is helping people to learn)
We have saying in Arabic “ I’m a slave to whoever he/she taught me a letter”
Thank you Lisa more than raindrops,
    Yours sincerely
    Bader from Saudi Arabia

    EFFECT
(General American, weak vowel merger) IPA: /əˈfɛkt/
    Homophone: affect (weak vowel merger)
Weak vowel merger. The weak vowel merger is the loss of contrast between /ə/ (schwa) and unstressed /ɪ/, which occurs in certain dialects of English: notably many Southern Hemisphere, North American, Irish, and 21st-century (but not older) standard Southern British accents.

"affect"(verb) contra "effect"(a noun; the cause of "affect"!). It helps to understand the (divine) complex sentence "material implication": "if...,then...". A common language is a foolish one; therefore, A.Tarski showed it in the perfect definition of "true sentence", AD 1933@the necessity of the distinction between meta and object language. It helps to get a perfect spiritual calm and divinity.
