Hi Lucy! I am an English teacher from Turkey. Your videos worth their weight in gold! Because I am not a native and I take great pleasure in watching them 😁 Lastly, the people around me sometimes drive me up to wall because they just live without a care in the world!!!
She is the best teacher ever , love your classes, tips, ideas, inspirations, accent...all. You unarguably steal the show here on youtube! Thank you Lucy, you rock! 👏🏻🥲❤️
I'm always learning from these videos. As an American English speaker, I've never heard the expression "short and sharp." Here, we'd say "short and sweet." As in: I know everyone is busy, so I'll keep this short and sweet. There's another sense for the phrase "down to." If someone is "down to" or "down for" it means they want something. "I've worked hard all week and now I'm down to party." "I skipped breakfast so now I'm really down for some lunch." I agree with your pronunciation of "integral." I use "in-teg-ral" to refer to a vital part of something and "in-te-gral" for the math function. Thanks for the outtakes, by the way!
Wait a minute... How come you're a native speaker of English still "integral" sounds as if you were argentinian? It's amazing! Have only just discovered this channel and I cannot love it more. Congratulations on your amazing teaching skills, clarity, and generosity! Can't wait to go through all your videos... Keep it up!

Dear Lucy! I stay a passionate follower of your channels and each time get a lot of fun and delight when listening to your splendid elaborations and pronunciation! Recently, it's crossed my mind, for the tenth time probably, the whole patch of interjections has been missing on your channel yet (as far as I'm concerned, forgive my ignorance if it's false) which imho would be to enrich and brighten your impressive packages. I was thinking of asking you to coin something around 'Whoosh!', 'Womp womp!', 'Alas!' and the likes in case it might be capable of exciting your mind.
Thanks Lucy for this fabulous and ineffable lesson. So chuffed that I have learnt smth mesmerizing on RUclips. Last time I was lacking the impetus to study 📖 😪 , however right now feeling myself significantly fulfilled. Genuinely without care in this world 🌎. I reckon that English is worth its weight in gold in my life , therefore due to you ♥ I became more sanguine in English. Thanks a bunch.
11:50 I loved "walking on eggshells"!! in Turkish, we similarly say "diken üstünde yürümek" which means "walking on thorns" or, "mayın tarlasında yürümek" which is "to walk on a minefield" same meaning! there's also "ip üstünde yürümek" which means "to walk on a string" but it means more like you're in danger 😅
Love all those examples 🙂 May I throw some of my favourites? Like, just doing basic stuff at work: just bread and butter today. Or be meticulous with cleaning or searching for something: all nuks and crannies Being short of staff: running On skeleton crew. And when something is going really well: we cooking on gas. Hope you enjoy farm life, all the best for you and Will 🍀

4:00 I just thought about how we say it in german and I guess the phrase which catches up the meaning best is: "Jemanden auf die Palme bringen". Word for word translated it means "to bring somebody on the palm" which I think is quite funny xD
It drives me nuts (instead of drive up the wall) when people throw their rubbish outside the window. I hate it so much. Thank you Lucy for such example! 🌍♻️
