    Thanks for the helpful review. One thing I feel obligated to mention: it's not nearly as safe to ride with your left hand entirely on top of the handlebars (e.g. 8'37")… It's much safer and more stable to keep your thumb under the grip, which should still let you operate the brake lever (except for people with very small hands-who should probably look for a scooter with smaller grips anyway).
    And dude, NEVER pick up something that heavy without bending your knees, keeping your head up, and using your legs to lift, rather than living with your back (10'58"). That's the easiest way to throw your back out-and once you do that, believe me, it'll never be the same. I learned this the hard way. 😬💦 Cheers!

    I'm like 5 feet 9. Will the handlebars be too high for me since they're not adjustable

      You will be fine - I'm 5'6 and the handlebars are no problem for me, although they do feel a bit tall till you get onto the scooter :)

    Did you adjust the tyre pressure to get the best balance between speed and improved hill climbing?

    Are dimond nuclear batteries avaliable?? or a solar charging unit, in it...?

    • @MakeUseOf
      @MakeUseOf  2 года назад +1

      No, diamond nuclear batteries are not a thing; and a solar panel on this would be impractical, adding a lot to the weight and reducing efficiency.

    • @Thereno1is
      @Thereno1is 2 года назад

      @@MakeUseOf oh...the panel and dnb battery evolution as a function of smaller/availability, would be more efficient though...maybe an attached panel and an ability to achieve a sort of charge...I mean the panels will work....wouldn't you just need an inverter from the panel not a powerbank...reducing tremendous weight. Looks exciting for adventurous folk.

      you can't buy a diamond nuclear battery 🤣
      it's radioactive ,so I don't want one anyway

    Would this be any good for around a 8mile round trip commute with like 1 moderate hill?
    Also can it be used in colder weather?

      i’m getting mine on monday (second hand) i’ll try it out and let you know as i live in a cold country with lots of hills!

      @@HandHaben omg ty that would really help cuz winter is coming where im from and it does get pretty cold. i saw in some review the cold reduces battery life so idk

      @@Sarah_Kinz so i got it today and took it for like a 15 mile ride. overall really impressed compared to other e scoots i have ridden. i’m 96kg (211 lbs or 15.1 stone) and it climbed even the steepest of hills with absolute ease! it got left in a rain storm by accident and was fine, it actually handles really well in the rain. batteries have a working optimal temperature so yes the cold will reduce the range a little but unless its severely cold (like -10C cold) you should be fine.

      @@HandHaben second hand and it still runs good for 15 miles?! That's amazing and thank you so much for replying, omg. I'm actually pretty petite nd 120 lbs 😅😹 so I imagine it'll be just fine if it works for u. I think I'll do a lot of park riding and occasional commute with this 😁
