I hope you review the prequel Kazuya's Revenge and the Chinese knockoff The Avenging Fist. The Avenging Fist is probably worse than this movie and Kazuya's Revenge is slightly better.
There's a lot more tekken media than i originaly though. And I've seen none aside from this movie. Thanks for a suggestionand I might do a video on it as well.
I Didn't Have No Problem With The Movie NGL aside from It's braindead Prequel the one thing I haven't seen I'm more Concerned about Is Helstrom and Cloak and Dagger on Disney + also MODOK but that's Animated so I'll probably give It the benefit of the Doubt looks like a Seth Green joint Low Key
Actually I quite enjoyed this movie and always wanted sequels, I always thought the storyline could've been better though since like you were stating, it is far from the actual story
They did leave the ending to be open ended I guess, but they did kill off a couple of most important characters to the story. There is a sequel tho, but I am scared to watch that one since it is allegedly much worse, and it shouldn't even be a tekken movie
Hey commentary vids are something everyone watches and would be great if u could make a comparison, cause only Tekken hardcore fans know this. By providing context u can hit a wider audience. This will make the copyright much less likely to happen. So add more things to make this a critique of the movie rather than just narrating the events of what unfolded in the film. Compare it to the main story point out flaws in game mechanics and have a pov. Hope this helps great vid.
Hey man, thanks for this. This was more of an experiment to see how things go when I'm not talking strictly about the game. I didn't want to up the length of the video too much for the first review, so I left the comparisons out, but that would be a good addition. I only recently got back to videos and I might expand from tekken in the future, so this comment means a lot. Thank you, and I'll continue improving.
This movie only did a few things right and that was thw costumes of several characters at least trying to look like them. But why were Kazuya and especially Jin not played by full Asian actors? Kazuya fighting with axes? Wearing a beard and has no pin pointed hair cut? 😂
It's funny how Raven is the one guy that actually looks the most similar to the game counterpart. Even though he arguablly has the most ridiculous costume. But Kazuya, who is somewhat grounded in reality, aside from hair, just looks unrecognizable 😂
I agree, anime's are decent, but this was a trainwreck. It would be fun to see a new lore accurate movie tho. But given how video game movies usually turn out, I think that I need to be careful what I wish for.
Yeah they are, but when they were making a bad movie, it could have at least been similar to game kinda bad. Not this generic action movie with a fighting tournament in between bad 😂
They made HEIHACHI a good guy.
Bro what?
Heihachi supposedly stood for honor lol. The biggest con man of the series.
They did sort of predict the future tho...
tekken 7 did the same thing afterwards lmao
THEY DIDNT EVEN SPELL DRAGUNOVS NAME RIGHT IM DONE
Straight up GARRBAGE. As bad as the King of Fighters and Street Fighter Movies
Pros: Cary Tagawa as Heihachi, the costumes
Cons: The rest of the movie
Verdict: Did anybody think before they wrote this shit?

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely look into both in due time. Hopefully they're bad enough to warrant a video.
Did you watch the Tekken motion picture?

That movie was so stupid and entertaining!
Definitely in that so bad that it's good category.

Tekken 2: Kazuya's revenge is way awful than the 1st Tekken.

Not at all accurate. Better off as an animation.
