THAN Denver will have Carruso who can play PG/SG Demar who can play SG/SF and Vucevic who can play PF/C. 3 players who can play multiple roles.
Just not really a “stacked team” like a team with 3 superstars in their primes like in the 2010s just a lot of duos of solo man teams, and if they don’t play perfect they ain’t winning
Love how you leave out the rest of the team was 8 for 28 shooting……. Yes clearly they need more options smooth brain. Options that can just be consistent shooting above 30% 😂

@@djsognal 6'9" Naz Reid blocked Joker twice in 4th quarter and KAT forced him to airball a fadeaway (refs bailed Jokic out on that one)... Joker was gassed in the 4th... not sure what you were watching
On offense maybe but on defense he definitely plays like he's 6'10". And even when his jumper isn't falling teams still guard him closely which creates more space from Jokic and Murray.
@Largedude2023 facts & nothing wrong with having bad shooting nights but when you're also being soft and not going up for some alley oops or banging it out in the paint dude is basically being usless
You fool, they were MOST DEFINITELY NOT HUGE AT ALL WHATSOEVER, they were great but not nearly as important as you make them out to be, we had strawther and payton Watson to replace them but for some reason Mike malone didn't trust them that much, it was maddening
@@mkw5398you can disagree without insulting. Expecting young players with no playoff experience to be key contributors is not a recipe for success. Honestly, I think mpj on both ends of the floor killed us this series.
hes pretty good at rebounding and he should be a 4, but because you need a 4 that is awesome at defense to protect Jokic lack of mobility and rim protection... it's a bit messy.
His defense has been really good the last two years. He's a legitimately good weakside defender now and the fact he can rotate down to opposing bigs when Jokic is 25 feet from the rim is kind of a big deal for them. He has gotten better at using his shooting to get downhill but Minnesota is just a bad matchup for him because they have three all defense level wings and are probably the only team in the NBA who can guard him with a guy just as big and athletic as him (McDaniels)
Even though Murray and Jokic made 35 and 34 pts Minnesota still beat them. 6 guys on Minnesota had double digit points. Denver only had 2. My Timberwolves are on to the Conference Finals but I hope Denver finds better role/bench players.
They’re a horrible team that’s stats you see in high school what ag and mpj did. lol how tf you score only 4 lol they were always inconsistent eay to cold majority of the time with bad shooting. They neeed better shooting
I've wanted MPJ gone since the finals last year. MPJ was just missing. You aren't gonna win a championship again when on any given night 2-4 of your starters are good and the rest of your team just play like bums.
@@greatpyrenees559 You say that like it's an accomplishment, but the lakers were a much worse team. Also in the lakers series KCP didn't play well and in some games Gordon didn't play well either. Not to mention the lack of bench points. So my original point of 2-4 starters play good is still applicable.
Definitely need some veterans in, in core positions. Jeff Green and Bruce Brown were huge losses. An impact backup centre is very much needed, just need someone to be an interior defender/shot blocker and rebounder. Another guard who can structure an offence and hit an outside shot. Believe they have depth in the wing positions and they need to give more time to Nnaji and Watson.
I think they should run this roster again next year for the most part. If there is to be an addition to the team it should be a backup big. I have a strong feeling everyone will come back better next year and they'll be fine. Mpj will be a better creator, Watson, Gordon and Braun will all be better shooters and we know what jokic and Murray bring. Just my opinion though, I 100% agreed with your viewpoint as well.
@@ImChasinBaggz The only thing that might happen is Braun becoming a better shooter. He has shown in the reg season that he can hit open 3's. And he is young enough to maybe ad that to his PO skillset. But Porter will not just all of a sudden develop an eye for his teammates and ad a passing game, and Gordon is who he is as well. He is an ok-below average 3P shooter. He is that for like 8 years! They have to bank on one of Nnaji/Watson/Strawther to take a huge step forward and somehow ad a true playable Backup Big.
@@Smido83 I should've been more specific; when I say porter will be a better creator, I meant a better shot creator for himself. I think he can take that next step from just a catch and shoot guy. In the lakers series he showed pretty decent mid range creation and applied some good rim pressure at times. I agree that Strawther can have a leap next year and they also should bank on Watson's growth. I'm glad we can see eye to eye on Braun as well
The size advantage is negated by the fact that MIN always has to double Jokic. MIN have big men for the boards. But Denver just had to make those easy shots.
They already have a bench, and Bruce and Jeff weren't nearly that big, Strawther, Watson, and Nnaji would've perfectly replaced and even surpassed their production if malone had any trust in them whatsoever
Ohh now they need a bench. Until this series" Denver was the favourite to win all, Jokic and Denver the best in the world" and after the lost...Jokic needs more help. Denver had 2 injured players(not so important players) also and Minnesota 2 missing players (not important). NO EXCUSES FOR DENVER
@@giannisksanthopoulos4300 NOPE everyone has been saying they needed a bench. It’s a perfectly valid excuse, we’ve said this since last season ended and Bruce Brown and Jeff Green didn’t return. People thought after seeing their regular season success that maybe their starting 5 will be enough but after game 7 of the second round it’s proof that our earlier suspensions were right all along. They have no deep bench. Also they weren’t always title favorites when the season started they were along with the Bucks and Celtics (cause of off season trades) before the all star break the Nuggets were the 3rd seed behind the Timberwolves and OKC thunder and because of that their chances of winning a title changed in some peoples eyes then of course the clippers got it going too. After the all star break the nuggets then became title favorites again when they went on a run that lead them to being the one seed again until they lost the title after the lost against the spurs. So no the Nuggets weren’t always title favorites essentially they only where when they proved they can still contend with most the league but not all the league. The Timberwolves were beating the nuggets ass all season and the only win the Nuggets had against them was when Kat was out briefly.
@@rgonzalo511nothing against Murray, but he is often hurt. If he was a 3rd option, perhaps he could stay healthy for longer stretches of the season not having to sacrifice his body every time he drives to the rim. With that being said, we need a Connolly type a point guard, someone to set the play and control the offence, help facilitate when Jokic is on the bench. I didn’t follow him a whole lot this season, but signing Chris Paul and playing him 10-15 min a game could work. Also, strengthen the bench.
There was talk of this years ago, but another point guard would allow Jamal to play off the ball. Some of his best playing was when Morris was the point guard and Jamal was the SG. That’s an option that I hope they consider.
Denver looked tired by the end. This one is on Mike Malone. Gotta give guys a breather now and then. Especially with a big lead, might have saved this game and the series.
He probably could have done a better job but Minnesota has 7 and they have 6. It is what it is. But those guys played similar minutes last year. Ultimately you make shots or you don't and they lost that game in the third quarter when they should have been rested and shot 5/19
This video made me realize that the Nuggets and the Sixers are almost parallels of each other. The biggest difference between the Nuggets and the Sixers is the Nuggets built their team around Jokic perfectly and the Sixers did not build their team around Embiid perfectly except for Maxey. They both have a terrible bench and they both didn't really have a third option. Also, Jokic can stay healthy and Embiid cannot.
thats probably the reason why they are not bulding around him...missing 25%-40% games every season is not good , you know how bad denver is when Joker is not on the court , imagine having that 30% of the season or even more ..yeah would be quite bad
They tried to cut corners thinking Jokic would be enough to carry them. Even all time greats need support. Get him an all star or somebody Nuggets front office.
I said before the season started that Denver should do a 1vs2 trade to adress the lack of depth. Use Porter Jr's 30+ Mio to get 2 good rotation players. One good shooting wing and one 3&D defender. My Idea was Bogdanovic/Burks from Detroit. I dont see a similar trade right now, where a rebuilding team has 2 vet Wings available. Makes it way harder to get something similar done. With OKC just getting better, Minnesota/Dallas going nowhere, Houston coming up... I think its getting harder and harder for Denver to somehow get a deeper team and stay on top. Maybe Johnson/Collins from the Spurs is an option, depending what they do at draft night? Either way, Porter is eating the cap space without adding enough to validate that huge contract.
Correct me If I am wrong but...wasn't the Denver favourites to will all. How after they eliminate Lakers nobody will stop them? And after the lost, everybody start making excuses for Denver.
@@giannisksanthopoulos4300 I am a Mavs fan, I have no idea what Denver fans said before the Playoffs. I can only say what I said all season. The Denver Starting 5 is basically perfect, but the bench is extremely thin and inexperienced... And finding a 40% volume shooting wing for under 32 mio isnt that hard. So Porter should be the piece they split up into 2.
@@Smido83 now find one who is 6'10" Even when Porter shoots poorly he's still super valuable because of his gravity and the fact he can do things like rotate down and block a 7'2" center. If you could get Kuzma + Deni Avdija for Porter and Peyton Watson sure but I don't think people understand that the salary cap is about to double do this is a short term problem. Murray is 26. Jokic 28. Gordon 28. MPJ 25 and KCP 30. They can ride this group another 5+ years. There is no need to panic. Winning is hard. Let's not overreact because they went 4/21 on threes in the second half of a game 7
The defending champs lost Game 1 at home. They then got annihilated in Game 2 at home. They were up 3-2. They lost Game 6 by FORTY FIVE POINTS. In Game 7, the other team’s 22 YEAR OLD best player was 6-24 and they were up 20 in the 2nd half. And they lost. At home.
@@yahcrackyup when you really look at Denver their horrible. It’s all luck and joker when he’s hot. If he went to a new team they wouldn’t win 20 games
As a Nuggets fan, I don't see them trading Porter. They care about the culture, and we drafted our guys and are going to stick by those guys. I would love to get rid of Porter for a better 3&D, and throw Braun in there for someone who can actually score off the bench. Get rid of Reggie, he doesn't fit the team. I appreciate him trying to be a spark plug but he's not good enough. Honestly if we get a downgrade from porter to make the bench significantly better, that seems like a winning formula. Yes the Celtics are an amazing starting 5, but they have a solid bench. Mavs have Hardaway and Lively off the bench. Wolves have Naz Reid and Alexander Walker. Give us a 10 man rotation of solid contributers for the regular season, and then have an 8 man rotation that includes someone who rests Murray/KCP, keep Watson, and get a PF/C to rest Jokic/Gordon.
Denver might be the best landing spot for Zach Edey, for both Denver and Zach. Backing up joker is probably the best play for him to develop, then having his size off the bench can really help this team especially in the regular season.
@@giannisksanthopoulos4300He is literally a third star of the team, payed 35-40 million dollars a season (which is huge, YES) and he averaged like 6 PPG in the series vs the Wolves. Is that normal to you? That's absolutely very VERY TINY contribution to the team. Those are numbers for some bench player and not even the 6th or 7th player in the team, but lower down the ranks on the bench. He needs to expand his game so much if he wants to remain relevant in the Nuggets and in the NBA. He looks like a spot up shooter out there, like Kyle Korver or something and if someone plays a bit more rough defence on him he is basically DONE.
Jordan Clarkson was exactly who I thought of when you said scoring off of the bench.... cam Thomas, josh giddy or brogdan could thrive in that slot too
I like the thought of Malcolm Brogdon or a veteran PG like Dennis Schroder or Kris Dunn. And if possible, someone like Tre Jones and Markelle Fultz. Josh Giddy is an interesting option too if his 3 PT% improve
I completely agree. Not having a reliable 3rd guy and/or depth is what cost them this series. Go look at the stat sheets from tonight, there's a big difference between the two teams. Thats not the worst problem to have though, youd rather already have the MVP level guy and need to find other cheap players that fit. Rather than having a bunch of above average players and no star
The bench is deep and great, the problem is malone doesn't trust the guys on the bench, which is extremely surprising considering the fact that a lot of balled tf out when they got a chance
@@mkw5398The bench isn’t great at all. He was basically playing an 8 man rotation, with Justin Holiday as a backup guard. Malone had to stop playing Watson in this series because he isn’t smart or skilled enough offensively, and that matters a lot when you’re playing a historically good defense. And you just can’t rely too much on Reggie Jackson. Braun is the only somewhat reliable backup. They need to add a couple more bench pieces.
@@taxationistheft7 I think the Mavs are a little deeper. The Nuggets starting 5 is great, but moving past that they have very limited guys. The Mavs have 2 legit bigs that can play enough minutes and they have about 6 legit wings that all are good in the rotation, mostly defensive, but also some scoring options. (Washington, Jones Jr, Green, Hardaway, Hardy and Kleber) Also, their star duo of Luka and Kyrie are comparable if not better than Jokic and Murray.
No tf they don't, Murray was literally the best denver player, the issue is that Mike malone doesn't want to play the young guys like Peyton Watson, Julian Strawther, and Zeke Nnaji, he just leaves them out for absolutely no reason despite them impressing constantly

Why would any team in the league be willing to pay MPJ more than a min contract? Let alone, trade any good player for him? It’s so painful to see him misses so many open shots
As nuggets fan, I think that our starting 5 is darn near perfect, almost no flaws. This offseason, they should trade for or sign Jordan Clarkson and a good defensive backup 5. I think if we could bring in Precious Achuwa to run with Reggie, Clarkson, CB, and Pwat on the bench with Strawther and Nnaji as reserves they could very easily get another ring.
Our trash ass bench, and missing open shots lost us the series. Props to Minnesota for their defense, but even when the Nuggets got open looks it was bricks…
I think everyone would agree the champion was one of these 2 teams. I honestly dont think the nuggets need to change anything... Jokic and Murray missed 16 3s combined.. The reason they rely on jokic so much is because thats their game plan. If they wanted Reggie or or holiday to score more they could. The nuggets bench took a total of 4 shots so blaming them for a loss isnt really possible
The Nuggets won't win another title if they run it back with the same squad. Just think about something, DeAndre Jordan is their back up center. You can't expect Jokic to play 47 minutes on a regular basis during the postseason
@@eze9081 I could see that definitely helping. But they don’t need another scorer. Malone, Jokic and Murray all said it themselves, shots just didn’t fall in. They really just need a center for this specific matchup tho. AG plays great when Jokic sits.
Problem is there best shooter was getting outshot by the bench in more games then not this series. At his wage that just crushes you as a team. Overpayed players not performing and not having enough money for a decent bench is what killed them
Problem is MPJ... je is pretty one dimenssional. But that dimenssion is shooting. So when is is hot, then you can just cry... sorry Lakers. But when he is not, he is not gonna give you much else. And then you have 30+ million bench warmer.
@@junioradult6219 He needs to develop either post game, or to be able to create his own shot. For the last year he seems to be working on handles and shot creation, but if I had to choose I would much rather develop post game. Then guys like nichel alexander, that are smaller than him and guard him well on the perimiter, would have to guard him close to basket. Then he would really be difficult to prepare for. Shooting and sometimes driving, it was evident in Minnesota series, great perimiter defenders will lock him up
Worst thing they did was give MPJ that big contract with all due respect being a one dimensional shooter and no defense he shouldn’t be getting 38 million a year. He needs to be where AG is at around 23. Dude averaged 7 in 2023 finals and 9 this series.
Unreal how the supporting cast didn’t come through when Jamal and Jokic were decent and antman shat the bed in the 3 most important games of the series.
A Norman Powell off the bench would really help get that second unit more productive. I was also surprised to not see Peyton Watson play more. Christian Braun was a rookie last year and I remember seeing him getting involved quite a bit. I don't get why Watson wasn't that guy for them this year, he was pretty solid during the regular season.
So Jamal Murray can have a bad post season have maybe 2 good games and still be in Denver. Porter has two bad games overall decent post season and he’s on the chopping block?
@@Nick-sr4feit's not about playing poorly so much as Denver needs a tertiary creator and they are paying MPJ a lot of money. Personally I think his rim protection and gravity is a bigger deal than people make it out to be but he _is_ their most tradable asset.
Denver losing this year feels a lot like the warriors losing last year: they lost important role players (Otto Porter and GPII, who was hobbled when the warriors got him back; for nuggets it’s Bruce brown and Jeff Green) off the bench and their young players didn’t step up as much (Kuminga’s decision making is poor in the playoffs and Braun cannot score), and they got beaten by a team that is more physical while their second and third options did not perform well (Klay/Poole/Wiggins, Murray/Gordon/MPJ) The nuggets will be in cap hell soon, as Murray’s contract is nearing an end, and decisions about MPJ and KCP need also to be made. Replacing productivity from Bruce Brown will be difficult, but the good news is that Jokic is 29 instead of 35, so the nuggets are not that pressed in building a contender.
Here's the thing! Why not Nuggets search for a versatile young man like Kuminga this offseason? Because their ceiling had been checked by Minnesota tons of times, and one of opposing bigs like Towns just used the delayed tactic opportunity (letting one to shoot even if it's tiring as fuck) to not somebody on Nuggets to be included in that particular rotation and situation at the same time.
Denver was a big 2nd Half from Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon away from beating the Wolves. They literally dominated the 1st half against Minnesota in game 7. They ran out of gas in the 2nd half. It's definitely time too Refine the roster but no reason to panic.
In defense of Calvin Booth, we could not keep Bruce Brown and keep the starting 5 due to being over the 2nd apron of the salary cap. Reggie Jackson was worth the MLE and Brown made triple it
It was never a one for one replacement. We don't expect him to be the next "Bruce Brown". Peyton Watson is great on defense, but offensively he's a far cry from Brown which made Malone decided to bench Watson during the Wolves series. Watson has the potential to be better than Brown and is 6 years younger than him.
I think Denver will be ok.. they just need to look around for some more consistent bench players and another 3rd man.. I mean they do have a championship winning team obviously.. but they do need a little more help.. bro you know who’d I’d try and bring in to Denver even as a six man if it didn’t hurt them… Klay Thompson. He’d add solid 3pt shooting he knows coach Mike, and he’s extremely seasoned.. plus he’d be with a younger team so he doesn’t have to play hard anymore. Denver’s not in trouble but they need to add a little bit more depth in the center and bench..
Not happening with McConnell playing so well in the playoffs and helped the Pacers to ECF. His stock is too high now. If it was 2 years ago before Haliburton was traded to Indiana? Maybe
Their 3rd option, Porter Jr, played trash the whole series, Murray was inconsistent to say the least. You got no bench, and no back up centers for Jokic. Denver needs some serious upgrade, cause they can't rely on Jokic putting up 40 points triple doubles every game to bail em out.
The issue with tryin to repeat in this era is there are always 3 or 4 teams that are getting better. So will Denver really be a top 2 team next season?
not sure about top 2, but they'll be considered contenders for as long as Jokic remains at this level, and has even a remotely playable roster around him
Only IF they somehow ad a true playable backup Big, and IF they can ad a more reliable backup PG, and IF at least 2 of Braun/Watson/Strawther/Nnaji take a huge step forward. Lots of ifs in my book. Specially cause they are already a 2nd Tax Apron team and have limited ways to get those guys needed. If a good minimum Veteran has the chance between (lets say) the LA teams or Denver... who will they choose?
I remember the takes against Giannis after almost defeating the Celtics (Finalists) by himself with Horrendous Holiday as second best player and Middleton out. With Jokic ? "No help". Lol.
We're not about to sit here and act like Bucks fans didnt say the same thing when the Nets lost to the Bucks. KD had NOBODY who averaged more than 12ppg after Giannis injured Kyrie in the previous postseason. Jrue was chipping in and giving Giannis 21ppg. He had enough help.
It's crazy because I think the Nuggets kept their players and didn't do any of their coaches or players dirty. Murray for example, he had an injury and they still kept that dude around.
Would shooting for Lauri m. And Jordan clarkson and or sexton out the realms of possibility for the nuggets to trade for ? Jokic and Lauri would be nasty offensively at least haha
This reminds me of how the Lakers blew the finals against the Pistons. Denver had the better starting 5, the bench and no MPJ scoring were the difference.
There have been comments that Jokic has accomplished his MVP seasons while never playing with an all-star. Let's be honest, Murray, Gordon, and MPJ all probably should have been recognized as all-stars. It is the sports media industry that sticks with their favorites to the detriment of a lot of similarly great players.
Not a single one of those guys is better than any of the all stars we got. There’s plenty of other guys who would still be all stars before them. They’re great players but the league is more talented than it’s ever been
Big nuggets fan here, the contract they need to move that you didn't mention is Zeke Nnaji. Former frp whos never stepped up as the backup center and he's making roughly $8mil per year. They need to try to figure out a way to get a discount Bruce Brown 6th man with that contract who can contribute now. MPJ is also disappointing but I'm not sure what other realistic options they have to improve that spot without gutting the roster
If I were Toronto I’d be keeping my eye on this. Bruce Brown with a couple picks? MPJ would fit nice with Scottie, RJ, IQ and Poeltl Don’t know if Denver would do it that trade but I’d definitely be feeling out what they’re looking for along with Bruce
I like MPJ, but he failed the team this postseason. He suppose to be their 3rd option. Can't be lost & vanish in big games. He needs to become more like KD, mid range game, he settles at the 3 point line too much, & then when he drives to basket, he goes weak & looking for foul. No, stop & shoot mid range, or do a running floater. He has all the skill needed, but doesn't put it to use
Honestly I don't understand why people are looking to trade MPJ he has shown that he can be healthy and available for the etire regular season. I just think the Minnesota series wasnt his fault it was more about how they guarded him and how Malone plays him.
Jokic isn't the reason why the Nuggets lost. The Nuggets lost because of 3 reasons 1) no backup center for Denver. This means that Naz Reid can dominate the bench unit and Jokic is forced to play more and be gassed. 2) Mpj averaged 13 pts on 38% shooting when he is supposed to be a 20 points 50/40/90 player. 3) Murray has been terrible in these playoffs even though he played good in game 7. 20 pts on 40/30/80 splits aren't enough to beat a stacked Wolves team. Jokic averaged 29/11/8 against the Wolves on 50%fg. This is arguably the best defensive team since the 04 Pistons with 3 all stars in it. LeBron in his prime (2011- 20') has never faced a similar type of defense with 6'8 + defenders and rim deterrents at every position.
Aaron Gordon needs to be more aggressive and take more shots and have the ball in his hands more. Physically Gordon is pretty much LeBron James, he just needs to want to dominate mentally. I get it he is deferring to Jokic and Murray, he needs to be more selfish.
The future is bright if they bring in the necessary talent, otherwise this team will continue to lose in the first and second round. You can’t have one centre and play him 47 minutes, that’s just not going to work man.
I think we’re shifting back into the era of big men. A lot of successful teams this season had solid centers or PF with size. Small ball isn’t cutting it no more if you’re shooting 40% from the 3 but can get an offensive rebound. Plus now we have bigs that can shoot as well as guards, making the 3 ball that more dangerous. If I was Pop I’d take a page out of Finch’s book, and move Wemby to the 4 because of his range on offense and keep a solid center for extra length.
In my 2k franchise mode this current season already had seen a swap sending Klay Thompson to Denver and Aaron Gordon to Golden State. I always found that interesting even though obviously its just a simulation.
Well, one good thing about Joker not being in the playoffs anymore is that from now on we won't have to hear the words "master class" repeated over and over.
@@DoritosBurger It's just sickening the media we have. I think the series between Dallas and Minnesota tells us what a true All-Star is. You don't care about elite defense, you're gonna get yours if you want it. Jamal and MPJ, good as they are, aren't Luka or Kyrie. Joker needs a true All-Star with him if they want to defeat the Wolves (they will be better next year too). If Jamal's injury is the real reason he's not playing his usual Playoff self then they're gonna be fine next year. But if Minnesota's defense is his ceiling then sad to say he needed to be traded. It's win-now for Denver, Jokic is gonna be 29.
The obvious answer is they need to improve the bench. You do have a point they need another scorer if MPJ don’t have his shot. Honestly if I was D’Angelo Russell I would take a vet min and join Denver he would be huge off their bench and be an upgrade over Reggie Jackson. Problem with that don’t think he would take that deal and he probably feels he a starter
IMO they need to find a way to get mason plumlee back. he plays so much like jokic and could be a solid backup that can do the playmaking jokic does and rebound pretty well too. only problem is he doesn’t stretch the floor as much but idk if that’s an issue

@@Smido83 I should've been more specific; when I say porter will be a better creator, I meant a better shot creator for himself. I think he can take that next step from just a catch and shoot guy. NO EXCUSES FOR DENVER
@@giannisksanthopoulos4300
NOPE everyone has been saying they needed a bench.

Great game. So many blocks by both teams and great defence.
Denver looked tired by the end. This one is on Mike Malone. Gotta give guys a breather now and then. Especially with a big lead, might have saved this game and the series.
He probably could have done a better job but Minnesota has 7 and they have 6. It is what it is.

The nuggets will be in cap hell soon, as Murray’s contract is nearing an end, and decisions about MPJ and KCP need also to be made. Replacing productivity from Bruce Brown will be difficult, but the good news is that Jokic is 29 instead of 35, so the nuggets are not that pressed in building a contender.
Here's the thing! Why not Nuggets search for a versatile young man like Kuminga this offseason? How? There is no way Indiana trades him.
Everybody wants TJ McConnell. The Pacers arent gonna give him up.
2:08 dude had me screaming at the t.v. Denver was playing like they had their Cancun clothes on underneath their uniforms
The issue with tryin to repeat in this era is there are always 3 or 4 teams that are getting better. So will Denver really be a top 2 team next season?
not sure about top 2, but they'll be considered contenders for as long as Jokic remains at this level, and has even a remotely playable roster around him
Were they a top 2 team even this year? They lost all their depth from last year
Only IF they somehow ad a true playable backup Big, and IF they can ad a more reliable backup PG, and IF at least 2 of Braun/Watson/Strawther/Nnaji take a huge step forward.
"No help".
Lol.
Giannis played a weaker team than the Timberwolves. And his path to the ring was nonexistent
MPJ for KD book it!
not thinking cap structures would allow that trade
XD?
Hell nah atleast mpj tries on defense
@@ant6592 XD!
@@taxationistheft7tries? And doesnt do much
MPJ having a brother get banned, a brother getting sentenced to prison, and a other brother picking up a DUI had to weigh on him
Well he needs to go then. His family is unstable
He couldn't let that stuff bother his game period. Unfortunately
he was doing the same shit last season they just actually won the chip so that got swept under the rug
This reminds me of how the Lakers blew the finals against the Pistons. Denver had the better starting 5, the bench and no MPJ scoring were the difference.
Let's find a way to get Donovan Mitchell to Denver!!! Trade MPJ, Pope, Watson and a draft pick...
great analisis
There have been comments that Jokic has accomplished his MVP seasons while never playing with an all-star. Let's be honest, Murray, Gordon, and MPJ all probably should have been recognized as all-stars. It is the sports media industry that sticks with their favorites to the detriment of a lot of similarly great players.
None of them were even within 3 players of an all star
This season
Kyrie
Sabonis
Ingram
Gobert
Fox
Sengun
Wemby would all have made it over them
Not a single one of those guys is better than any of the all stars we got. There’s plenty of other guys who would still be all stars before them. They’re great players but the league is more talented than it’s ever been
@@ScuffTuff Jamal regularly puts up crazy numbers with Jokic, he should've been an all star.
MPJ would fit nice with Scottie, RJ, IQ and Poeltl
Don’t know if Denver would do it that trade but I’d definitely be feeling out what they’re looking for along with Bruce
I don't think his handle is good enough to consistently create his own shot.
I swear to god that this video could be sufficiently made as a 3 minutes video
Honestly I don't understand why people are looking to trade MPJ he has shown that he can be healthy and available for the etire regular season. I just think the Minnesota series wasnt his fault it was more about how they guarded him and how Malone plays him.
5:55 nice Bobble head
Jokic isn't the reason why the Nuggets lost. The Nuggets lost because of 3 reasons
1) no backup center for Denver.
The nba is funner when different teams make the finals every year
Well, one good thing about Joker not being in the playoffs anymore is that from now on we won't have to hear the words "master class" repeated over and over.
Shai too, I heard "masterclass from the mid range" in that OKC series so much
Yeah, now we have to hear about how Edwards is "88 Jordan" over and over again, I’m sure that will be really fun.
@@DoritosBurger It's just sickening the media we have. I wish they'd get rid of pre and post game conferences, side line interviews, etc. They ask the dumbest question that are of absolutely no value and just over exaggerate everything. If you don't win a championship every single game of the playoffs you're just trash. Hey, Joebob, you just got beat by 68 points, how do ya feel? I need one color commentator and a camera crew. Everybody else needs to get a job digging ditches.
Joker is Denver's Atlas, hopefully he don't shrug
IMO they need to find a way to get mason plumlee back. he plays so much like jokic and could be a solid backup that can do the playmaking jokic does and rebound pretty well too. only problem is he doesn’t stretch the floor as much but idk if that’s an issue
Zach Edey potentially to develop behind Jokić?
Mpj was missing a lot of shot
