Shokz is the best thing I used for music while riding my bike. Have used speakers before but same like you it's getting louder and louder as I want to hear the music more 😅 Shokz definitely is very awesome
Just came across your channel due to the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 RUclips logarithm. I want to know everyone's view, and it seems they are good. I have some air conducting earphones that look similar to Shokz, and they have a great sound and comfort. They were not expensive being the SoundPeats RunFree and Tozo OpenReal. The SoundPeats RunFree has a slightly less bass and build quality could be better - a panel unstuck so I had to glue it back. The Tozo has a unique magnetic charging cable, instead of USB-C! It uses touch pad so accidental touches from helmet straps, rain and moisture, can either pause the music or not respond at all. I had Shokz Openmove but they were uncomfortable and poor sound. The Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 has the best things of my earphones and remove bad things and from reviews improved the sound quality. I cycle every day and probably add the Shokz to my collection. I cycle every day all over Greater London, so might bump into one day. Great review.
My wife gifted me a pair about 3 month ago (shokz openrun). I used to blast a JBL go 3 full volume on my commute too. This headphones are life changing. Cycling, running, exercising, been home working on bikes, cooking, working, whatever you are doing and been able to be aware of your surroundings it's key. These are soo good that I bought a pair for her too. Yes, the sound quality isn't the best, yes, you hear mostly mids but it's the trade off for the commodity and probably you are not going to be enjoying the hifi sound anyways in the situation where the shokz are most needed.
Gotta fanboy a bit. I am incredibly happy with mine, they are perfect for riding indoors and outdoors, hikes, or just out and about. Sound is great, get an EQ for your preferred sound app to dial them in. But it is great that you still have awareness of your surroundings for safety and totally enjoyable music volumes. I can't go on a ride without them anymore, way worth the price!!
Thanks for the review, I wanted to know how these sound under a full face helmet with earplugs please. Do the “earpieces” that sit in from of the ear stick out too much and make them hard to use under a motorcycle helmet?
.... I recieved my pro 2 Friday and wow what an upgrade in sound quality in the Bass Mids & Highs Over the Pro ... .... No Vibrations Have I Felt ....The Pro 2 Sound Is Close To That Of The OpenFit But With Almost Twice The Battery Life .... My Only Issue With The OpenRun Pro 2 Is The Material Shokz Makes Them From Breaks My Skin Out Which Never Happened/Happens With OpenRun Pro ....I Cut Out Some Thin Material To Place Over The Offending Areas Of Pro 2 ....If This Doesn't Fit The Skin Irritation Issue I'll Have To Return Them
Openrun (not Pro) is currently under £100 refurbished, I've just replaced a pair I've been using all day, everyday for 3 years as a runner. They are lighter than the Pros and have a better IP rating (67 vs 55). The audio on the Pro is better but still nowhere near what in ears can give you so it's not worth the extra weight, money and risk of water/damage. Just another option.
I have been back forth about these for weeks now, and this was just the review I needed. Great content and great work 👍🏼

The Openrun 2 actually have pretty decent sound. Much better than the original ones.

Dos they power themselves off now?

i leave my pro shokz paired overnight many times with little to no battery drop
how does the volume on these compare to the openrun and openrun pro?
I found the openrun are the loudest and I actually prefer that.
This looks perfect while playing airsoft..instead of running a long ass wire for a radio
I seem to have tuned into QVC by mistake 😂

Heyo will they fit with glasses and helmet?
Yes. Put you helmet on 1st, then the Shockz, then the glasses. I seem to forget to remove the Shockz before removing my helmet though.
@@eaxfordfunny I just did the same test with my wife shokz, think I’ll be buying my own for cycling.
Flip 5 gang represent.
Cheers for the vid! Honestly, you should sort out your face situation, maybe a goatee would suit you better
Careful. Might mess up your ossicles.😮 try Bose ultra open earbuds
Huh, what's up with that?
😉
Careful, living in a modern environment causes hearing loss.
Try a living a soundproof box instead.
Sorry, I do crack me up though.
