It's so nice to see a caaaalm playthrough of this. Everyone else I've watched yells, hollars, spits streams of expletives... which is fine if thats what you're into, or in the mood for. But it's just a breath of fresh air watching someone who speaks so softly and acts reasonably, even during struggles and frustrations. Which I feel matches the quiet and stoic demeanor of P.
Depending on the enemies you face, it only takes about 2 seconds to guard perfectly. You won't have to keep wasting stamina. Look at how fast or slow the enemy is moving, then guard as soon as contact is made. Once that happens, you'll hear two types of sounds. 1.) Breaking and gears short-circuiting Or 2.) A slight malfunction in the puppet's attack that's enough to break the enemy's weapon and give Pinocchio a chance to deal the finishing blow when they're staggered after said perfect guard is achieved. Hope this helps. Solid playthrough, by the way.

Going through highschool during covid and then beginning college as well, I learned the hard way that half-assed is better than not done. You may not want to do something if you're only going to get a 50 on it, but a 50 is easier to come back from than a 0.

He's got major anxiety, and doing our best with all the resources we can get our hands on, but trying to help him understand that so long as he TRIES, that's what matters. None of the greats achieved their masterpieces on the first go.

last year we got 3 pinocchio movies lol... this game is a refresher that we at least got SOMETHING worthwhile 1 year later. i do believe we're owed 1 more movie though, pinocchio and the water of life (supposed to be a good one this time). this is the decade of pinocchio!!!!!!!
the whole puppet uprising thing reminds me of this amazing steampunk opera called The Dolls of New Albion (even though in that the uprising is done by the humans in resonse to the dolls and not by the dolls themselves)
❤ When you were talking about robopuppets apocalypse, I told myself: “Terminator” series. It was all about that, machines went wrong and were exterminating humans. My least favourite apocalypse scenario would be zombies… I am genuinely terrified of zombie-like creatures. If I had to choose, my preferred scenario would be some disease, because I’m physically built like a 10 year old child, so I won’t be able to successfully fight any hostile humans/zombies/creatures/aliens etc. I have better chances with disease, maybe my immune system will be able to overcome it. I have hope, at least. I feel like the “end of the world” scenario which is more likely to happen in real life in current circumstances, however, seems to be something from Fallout series.
I'm excited to see the next part of this play through! I don't have the patients or skill to play these kinds of games myself but I enjoyed watching you play through it.

I love this game, because you're actually not playing as Pinocchio. The game fights so hard to make you think you are, but you're not. *You're playing as the Tin Man.*
A little hard getting into this one as I find story and character development are held up by all the fighting. But it is the nature of the genre, and I am warming to it, even the boss fights. Can't wait to see what develops from the P/Gepetto interaction!
