15st holding 9min kms over that distance with that elevation and those conditions in January while also filming is kinda spectacular 😮. Very well done Ryan you are an inspiration.
I only started following you because of your Zwift videos but watching your running output has been really motivating. Your attitude to everything that you take on is amazing. You are so competitive with yourself. Well done for this run/slog and good luck with all of your 2024 targets.
Thanks Neil. I really appreciate that comment. I do try, when you spent as long as I did thinking exercise "was for others" I'm trying to make up for it now. 😅 Thanks for watching.
Absolute corker of a video, Ryan. And that looked like a brutal event in those conditions. The wind and mud were a crazy 'force multiplier'. It's interesting that you like tackling and gaining positions back on the hills. Great to have a strength like that that you can use in a race. 💪
Thanks Lee. Obviously the much faster trail runners burn through the hills like they're not there but I enjoy small wins in unexpected places and to pip a few off on hills was very unexpected. 😅
Because I’m a bit older (63) I like to follow people who are ordinary guys who talk about realistic goals that fit into real life, without all the influencer bling and BS. I follow Mark Lewis, Fergus Crawley and The Bioneer (ok, The Bioneer has a bod that I can only dream of, but he’s a straight talking bloke). I’m now following you for the same reasons. I started with the Goggins 4x4x48 and am really enjoying working my way through them. I’m not a Zwifter, but I am a Parkrun evangelist . The support you get from your family is lovely and it’s great to see. More power to you Ryan, and I look forward to your future content.
Not being a very competitive individual I think that we are all heading for one destination and perhaps that destination ideally should be as distant as possible. Take care and continue to enjoy your journey
Way to keep trudging through that mess! You should be super proud of that effort but even more so your awesome attitude during the whole video and race!! Cheers!
Wow Ryan great effort, you make really engaging videos and yeah really sympathise with that mud- it can so bad when so many run through it and leave us with the soupy sticky deep mud porridge to wade and slip through. I have a 50 mile race oct 26 and it’s starting to hit home as I am 17 stone right now 😬 but your videos helping 👍 looking forward to your ongoing progress well done
As always, hell of an inspiration mate. I have no idea how your knees and ankles aren't screaming at you during/after each of these. Way to go - keep up the great work!!!
do you train for these? or do you like to push through. im training for 5k at moment, im a new runner, im gonna graduate the couch 2 5k on 9th march, im on week 3 at moment. but i want to do 10k run later in march. and hopefully other runs
This one was a bit of both. I keep training throughout the year but used this race as a kickstarter for the big events Ive got coming up this year. Good luck in your 5k and 10k training, C25K is a great way to get going! Thanks for watching and commenting.
your welcome, i watch alot of your videos, you got me into zwift, and now i want to do running events. im like 18 stone so ive got alot of weight to lose @@RyanCondon
Loving your videos, like you im of a big build 105kg man 😂 booked my first 100k ultra plusca marathon this year. Done 11k this week and my knees are screaming
33:26 feels like my Zwift race last night, couldn't quite catch the racer who finished 10 seconds ahead of me, but still didn't let him out of my sights. 😅 I was probably a marker for the guy behind me and so on...
Go for it, looking forward to seeing the content. I won a race this week in cat d, felt the recipe for success is good sleep the night before (underappreciated), conserve energy while being in the leading group and have a good 15-30 sec ramp-up to endsprint. Might want to put in a bit of work in the last part, as you surely do well enough in the endurance department@@RyanCondon

Thanks Edd! Thats exactly what I was trying to explain to my kids on the way home when they said I need to get faster and not slower. 🤣
Love your videos. I would have thought watching someone trudge through mud for hours could be so interesting and inspiring. Brilliant
Thanks Tim 🙏😅

Remember Ryan its not how fast you travel but how far you go that counts.. well done and I look forward to future adventures
What does that mean?

Smashed it Ryan, running through mud like that and with the option to take a shorter route but going forward with the full distance 👏 👏
Cheers Thomas. I appreciate that 🙌🙏

Cheers Steven.
Well done Ryan

Welsh snowdon marathon tuffes marathon in Wales uk 🇬🇧, this reminds me of it.😊
that mud looked a real chore, really difficult to maintain any momentum without risking going arse over tit.
great vid, I'm inspired
I cant believe how fast some of these athletes go over mud. Theyre like mountain goats. Thanks for the comment David.
well done sir

Zwift has a lot to answer for when it comes to my running mentality now... 🤣
Thanks for watching and for commenting.
That was some achievement. 27 miles over rolling hills through extreme mud! I couldn’t do what you just did.
Thanks Paulo. I appreciate that. Thanks for watching. 💪
Great video amazing thanks 😊OMG 😲 😊
Thanks. :)
Well done both 👏 👍 👌 🙌 😊😅
First, love your videos also ❤
Well done, you m8. I'll stick to falling off Zwift and into the shower
