Just so you know, when pressure testing, you should first fill it up with water then pressurise the tank. This would prevent any explosion caused by a failed weld and would also prevent any shards of metal flying off.
Might be a good idea to put a hose fitting at the top and bottom of the rear tanks and run a clear fuel line between them so you can see the fuel level. (Like some custom choppers have)
Great Idea! We have been toying with that idea for awhile now just not 100% sure on how we want to do it. Thank you for watching and giving great input! We appreciate it.
Super dope project! Seen the 300cc but 700 is just epic, makes me want to change my grom engine, shouts from London Uk, can't wait to see the finished bike
I always had the dream of putting a honda single cylinder 300 in a grom but with original wheelbase and making it look as original as possible, but this is obviously taking it a bit further haha.
Honest the fighter build really could have looked stunning but... It needed custom bodywork that you dont want to do for this project so.... Hmm... Post apoc would be a cool build grafting parts. From Two bikes together is always an option I guess. Not as clean but.....
Great video, however as an MT-07 owner I'm not too happy to see how easily this thing seems to be hot-wired, no immobiliser clearly, or did you bypass this ?
You should do a “NOS” paint job on the tanks it’s going to look so much more clean on the bike
Great build man looks fucking bad ass 💪🏼 I’ll be in Gilbert AZ at the begging of the year hope I can swing by the shop to check it out
That's a really good idea xd
When it’s all done. You should go to the meet up and troll some people that on 300cc or 250cc bike🤣
Anyone could look at that bike and tell it's fast. It's not even a Grom anymore😂
That thing is going to be a death trap if you dont upgrade the front brakes
Dont ever sell this thing dude. This is too good to give to anyone else.
Best grom project i have ever seen. I cant wait the end this project and than first ride.
8:14 Thank god for carburetors.
Lmao
700cc grom?
Jeez you rip the trottle this thing will do a bloody flip
That grom better chill. It’s looking kinda thicccc😂😂
Absolutely insane! I can’t wait to see the first ride on this thing when it’s complete. Great build guys.
We can't wait to ride it either!
Damn you guys got this thing running way sooner than i thought. Keep us updated ❤
It's gonna be a wheelie monster that's for sure
dio atha the only W-word this is gonna be is widow maker, sick bike already
Just so you know, when pressure testing, you should first fill it up with water then pressurise the tank. This would prevent any explosion caused by a failed weld and would also prevent any shards of metal flying off.
Starting it up must have been music to your ears! Congrats guys! I’m very proud of you two! 😘😘

Incredible step! Love to see it running. Cheers indeed.
It is very cool to watch this build, thanks for posting.
Super dope project! Seen the 300cc but 700 is just epic, makes me want to change my grom engine, shouts from London Uk, can't wait to see the finished bike
Go for it man! The journey and build process is half the fun!
I cant wait to see ride footage.😀
This build is like my dream come true...Awesome work guys👌
😘
They need to upgrade the brake First
Finally, my wishes come true
Good for you man that is a crazy cool build!
Waiting for it.
I'm from Cambodia really love it. 🥰
Good shit fellas, super dope, great project to follow!
You guys should run a wide rear rim to fill out the swing arm (incase that wasn’t part of the plan)
Awesome build 😁 this going to be a little monster
I am Vietnamese . very good
Oh dude, watching that engine bump the front shocks, I'm sitting here thinking this thing is gonna be... Amazingly wicked.
We sure hope so! We'd be disappointed if it wasn't crazy wicked.
Almost doing power wheelies in neutral
Keen to see how this goes
You could use the fins of the Tank as a stove to keep your tea warm with a tealight candle XD
By the way nice build, custom bikes are the coolest!
Add LEDs to them. You can put your indicators or your brake lights on
Well done gents, it works.
That’s guna sound awesome with an exhaust on it. Sooo good.
The torque of the engine moves the bike up just a little bit
It sounds great can’t wait to see the first ride
God damn good job i dont know why i feel happy too lol keep it up
Should ve made the extra fuel tanks look like exhaust, but anyway it's an amazing build
Loved the video Just found your channel definitely subscribed
This grom is going to be sick!!!
The fins would look good as LED tail lights
That's exactly what I was thinking
Me too
Omg i was waitng for this from 4 th episode
Love it! Great job guys! Congrats!
Great job!
I always had the dream of putting a honda single cylinder 300 in a grom but with original wheelbase and making it look as original as possible, but this is obviously taking it a bit further haha.
We wanted to keep it stock wheel base, but with 10 times the hp, we preemptively stretched it to fight the constant wheelies I'm sure it'll be doing
Hopefully you fabricate a 2 into 2 free flow exhaust for this engine.
awsome project, love it!!!
Fucking awesome!! I've been following the whole build, good job.
13:37
Fins ware realllllly baaaaaad.....A right decision
Could have been da bomb grom
Good job!!
Now do a 125cc fz-07
Since you’ve changed so much of the frame and swing arm should it be called a Grom anymore?
scott smith can just be a front fork grom bike.
Carpy Bank true
Nathan Gregory what’s that like? I’ve never lived that way. Thanks for sharing your preference
Salute!
I like the fins
Would the error codes go away if you spliced the fuel pump into the stock fuel sender harness and add a resistor to simulate the fuel level sensor?
That things gonna yeet your meat... Keep up the good work boys
Wow.
jesus guys
We'll have to get together when it's all done! Would love to see what you think of it.
Great, now paint the tanks blue, and apply NOS stickers lol
I got the same" bike - only I got the 1100 - thinking of getting the 1300 though
Sure thing
i would like the fins if they didnt have the square piece of flat bar attaching each individual fin together
Wow!!! sound goooood ;o)
You young fellas are talented as fuck. Sweet build.
Honest the fighter build really could have looked stunning but... It needed custom bodywork that you dont want to do for this project so....
Hmm... Post apoc would be a cool build grafting parts. From Two bikes together is always an option I guess. Not as clean but.....
13:50 .....
Now those tanks look like a big grey booty in back.. LoL 🤣🤣🤣
When y'all are done, you should name her... DIRKAŠKI (racing) GROM (thunder). ;-)
Great video, however as an MT-07 owner I'm not too happy to see how easily this thing seems to be hot-wired, no immobiliser clearly, or did you bypass this ?
Dam you guys should swap my grom engine too
i want one soooo bad
What is the bubbling noise? Is that just from not having headers?
Just short open pipes
You should just paint it black and go on the streets and troll other groms
Could've maybe put brake lights and or indicators in the fins.
Good thing you have a non contact engine.... could’ve hit a valve running it with no exhausts
Song at 4:05 ?
Still want it
I’ll get noticed eventually lmao
Where did u get that anodized wrench I need to get myself one of those
what fuel pump did you use??????
🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘 nice
Paint them and put nos sticker on the side
โคตรสุดยอด อยากทำมั่ง
Put longer straight pipes on it before you suck a valve make a two into one header pipe for it
thats awesome guys. love it but isn't the 07 a 650cc?
It's 689cc
The SV650 is à 650cc tho
Is that suppose to be the final exhaust?
Not at all. We'll build a full system.
I'm most interested in this built. I would like to know where or how you get the engine?
Checkout our previous videos! We explain everything from the start.
@@BuiltByBailey I'm most thankful for your info and dedication. May God Bless You.
Damn that's one dummy thicc grom
was this a normal 125 honda grom? :oooo
Top gostei parabéns
ดีๆ
First 1 ❤️❤️🤩🤩
Where you gonna put the radiator?
Very carefully between the wheel and exhaust 😂
I think you should have kept the fins.
1000th like
That thing is gonna be torque ridiculous
Anyone know where they got the full wiring diagram for the bike?
I bought the online Haynes manual for the FZ/MT 07. Lots of good stuff in it.
Thanks, I appreciate it. Love the videos, keep up the good work!!
🇬🇹🇬🇹
When is your next video going be really
We're working on it!
That thing will hoon, btw first
Is it for speed or stunting
