Keep making videos. You do a nice job making them !! I paid $1700 for mine back in 2009 with 2 year zero financing. Hard to believe it still worth what I paid for it !! Came across your video trying to figure out why mine won't move after running over some sticks. Re-engaged the drive pins. But still won't move. Hope to figure it out today.
You can wrap a ratchet strap around the tire in the center and tighten. It will help squeeze the tire and get a seal to air up and seat the bead. Great videos!
I have a similar ss4235 Toro Timecutter with a 21hp Kawasaki engine. A bit newer than yours. About 2014. Paid $1400 for it from the son of a man who sells and maintains Toros. Great for mulching leaves! Crap on hills. I hate the front tire valve stems...hard to fill. Grease zerk hard to reach, too, unless I take off the wheels. All in all, it's saved me twice what it cost me to hire someone to do fall cleanup and mow the weeds. $1500 profit for parts and a day's work is not bad.
You’re really good at making these videos! Thanks for keeping me entertained and I appreciate your knowledge of these mowers! As a homeowner who tries to fix my small equipment myself but often times just get frustrated with it lol
This was sweet! I liked this one: that mower has been in the wings so long it seems like, so it's cool to see it getting tuned up and sold! Congrats on 500 subs by the way!!
I just found your channel and Subbed right away! Been Binge watching a few! I like the way you do things. Wish i lived closer, I would love to hang out and eat pizza and work on stuff! Lol!
Those anti after silinodes can be a great pain in the back side I have a poulan XT mower the Brand new carb anti after silinode went out so I cut the tip now it runs like new
last summer i got same one for free the fuel safety wire was causing it not to run we removed it and now it runs last problem to fix now is theres a crack in the engine so we will try and weld this some day but we have a clamp on it for now holding it together
@@garagestory I think it was twin not sure it had all bolts where lose on the engine and was ran that way witch I think made it cracked least the crack is at the top of the engine above the oil pan level so leaks a little oil trying to figure out best way to weld it jb weld aluminum weld or do the aluminum rod welding not sure just yet other that that’s it’s been a champ

I have this same mower. Did you ever change oils in the hydraulic pumps on each side? I’m wanting to tackle that but not sure if it’s a nightmare or not. Cheers from Canada! 👍
Why are you selling this timecutter 42" 19hp kolar engine zero turn which is a 2009 model for $2200!!!??? Mine cost that much in 2009!. If your going to sell it,sell it for $1200. The front tires are also nobbys.
The price of mowers has gone up, a new Toro similar to this would run you $3,200-$3,600 it looks like. And mowers have value based more on condition than age.
That would be a steal to get new for $2300! Around here a low end tractor style is around $2K. A mower like this is well over $3K, probably around $3.5K.

I’m wondering if maybe your drive belt got broken or knocked off possibly?
You can wrap a ratchet strap around the tire in the center and tighten. It will help squeeze the tire and get a seal to air up and seat the bead. Great videos!
Yes, I’ve done that many times! On smaller tires it doesn’t always work so well. Thanks for watching!
Murphys Tire Soap makes tire changing 10 times easier, thanks Lewis

After having a couple of the Toro’s, I’m finding that I really like them!

These are the videos I wanna see! Good job
😁👍🏻
Where did you get the plug for the hole caused by the aftermarket light switch?
It is just some hardware pieces I got at the store specifically for the purpose.
You are a awesome small engine mechanic

Great improvisation on the tyre - gotta admit i'd have given up and taken it to a tyre centre, glad you sold it, they got a good deal at 1800 bucks !
Thanks!
Yeah, for some reason I couldn’t get more than $1,800. I thought it was worth $2,000, but I guess not right now.
Ratchet strap around the tire will help set the bead then air up with air compressor.
Yep! I’ve used a ratchet strap several times. On really small tires it doesn’t always work as well.
Amazing what a little tlc can do to save another mower from the scrap pile. A little car wax on the metal and she will be a great mower for someone

Sweet!! This is one of my favorite mowers that has come through here. Do you have the Kohler single? They had some issues with cracking.

Could be fuel related maybe
I don't see how you get all these riding mowers so cheap.. definitely not the case in my area, but always keeping my eyes open.
It doesn’t happen every day, that’s for sure! Part of it is getting word out so people know that you are always looking for stuff.

No, I did not change the hydro oil on either of the Toro zero turns I had, so I can’t say how hard it is.
Thanks for watching!
Get a can of spray glue....works great....
well done
Thanks!!
Awesome!
U defiantly need an air compressor you just lucky to habd pump new tires on
It would have made it easier, but I wanted to show that it could be done!

Oh come on man. For the love of God. You ain't got an air compressor? That hurt my heart watching you use a bicycle pump.
I know you put a lot work into to this project , but you buy a brand new for $2300
