- Well, this was certainly a fun project to work on. With the metric modulation, key changes, double shaps, time signature weirdness, and tempo insanity, it was definitely a challenge XD
Anyhow, I tried to make this transcription of "A Funeral of Flowers (Thunder)" as accurate to the original as I could. Let me know what you think!

Guessing the Nintendo copyright ninjas got to you?
0:51 That sudden tone change was amazing.
Good god I've been looking for piano renditions of fe songs for so long that sounds accurate and captures the beauty of the orchestra, this channel is so underrated, for doing that
As always another beautiful piano rendition of an already beautiful song
Isn't this version of this song already a solo piano?
Super underrated music from the game. One of my favorites. This was epic! Keep up the awesome work!
Holy crap. This- Jesus Christ. Perfectly encapsulated the feeling that it did in the original game, in an amazing piano arragnment. And it goes as hard as the original while only being the piano. Hell yeah.
Also I'm gonna use this in a dnd campaign, so that's ebic
amazing arrangement, you did the sudden tone change at 0:52 really well ngl
Super underrated im so sad I didnt find this sooner I hope more people see your arrangements!
The Thunder version is acting like the rain version lol but it makes sense tho
Underrated theme 😩

edelgard should’ve been the final boss of silver snow
Isn't she already a final boss in Azure Moon though?

Hey I was wondering if you have posted it yet? This video of yours is a life-saver as I am trying to learn this piece myself. :>
@@JoltLiz I haven’t posted it quite yet, my apologies. I’m trying to get approved to put the sheet music on MusicNotes, but the process is slow. I’ll be sure to reply to this comment once the sheets are officially released.
After four months of waiting, I finally have sheets! Thank you so much for your patience!

can someone please tell me the bpm of this?
The BPM changes very frequently. I'll outline the song structure with timestamps to help you understand.
0:04 - the tempo is 152 BPM, or Lento (dotted quarter note = 50-53).
0:51 - time signature changes from 6/8 to 9/8, and therefore the BPM increases to 228. This can be considered metric modulation, as the tempo is increased so that the value of one eigth note in 6/8 becomes the value of a dotted eigth note in 9/8 while leaving the flow of the music intact. I notated it this way due to the grouping of chords in the right hand. The tempo marking is now (dotted quarter note = 76).
1:03 - time signature changes back to 6/8, and the tempo stays at 228 BPM.
1:05 - tempo changes to 154 BPM, 2 BPM faster than the initial tempo. Technically, this is still Lento (dotted quarter note = 50-53).
2:20 - tempo increases slightly, to 162 BPM. The tempo marking is now (dotted quarter note = 54).
2:33 - a small ritardanto slows the tempo down here, and by 2:38, it has slowed from 162 to 158 BPM.
3:09 - the tempo does not change, but the time signature goes through a cycle of 6/8, 5/8, 6/8, 4/8, 6/8, 4/8, 6/8, 5/8, and then back to 6/8 for the finale.
3:30 -
accelerando from 158 BPM, reaching 170 BPM by 3:32.
3:32 - after the accelerando, a dramatic ritardando to less than 100 BPM leads the song into the perfect loop, going back into 152 BPM at 3:35.
Hope this helps!
@@InsignifyMusic thank you sooooo much
@@8covers938 No problem!
