This song (especially the Thunder version and how it compares to Rain) is like The Last Agni Kai from ATLA, in that it does eveyhing it can to tell you the current battle is **NOT** a triumph but is instead a pure tragedy. That being said, I LOVE the guitar and drum work on the Inferno version.
If you REALLY wanna be hit in the feels, think about this: The priests that are forcibly transformed alongside Rhea were those she had saved by sharing her blood. It's relatively hidden, but another person that meets that criteria is Jeralt, meaning if Jeralt had survived to this point, he would've also been transformed and it's highly likely that in addition to being forced to mercy kill their mother figure, Byleth may have ALSO been forced to kill their actual father.
I was completely floored in Three Hopes when this song was used in Edelgard's route The sudden Triumphant ring of the trumpets in the beginning of the Embers version really hit hard
YEEEEEEESSSSSS FINALLYY!!! I’VE BEEN CRAVING FOR THIS THANK YOU I've always had a nostalgic yet cozy feeling from this melody. It's bittersweet to think about it, but this is a serenade that nailed the fleeting sensation of hopelessness and satisfaction for reaching the end in both titles alike. Great job at mixing them all together!
Also lets not forget about TONS and TONS of unresolved issues, trauma and PTSD that was left to fester for thousands of years! Seriously she's worse then Imperial Crown Prince Lyon from Sacred Stones in the department in just how depressing they are (both very much share their unwillingness to see their true potential that their parent and everyone else tell them they have! Sadly the tragedy of both Fire Emblem's happen BECAUSE of this unwillingness till it was too late!)
An amazing rendition for an amazing yet somber song. Yet I have one thing to say to have made this even better, mixing it up with the ost ‘At What Cost’.

That's an amazing analogy holy moly that makes this game even more sad and painful

Scarlet Blaze
Silver snow fam 🙏🏾💪🏾
@@malikmoyer7773They meant 3 hopes not 3 houses. Silver snow doesn't exist in 3 hopes
@@blue_lux absolutely right sorry fam didn’t realize the title names were that similar
@@malikmoyer7773 no problem fam. The names are super similar so it's near impossible not to mix up both games

When you accidentally side with the real bad guy
Say what you will about Three Hopes, Scarlet Blaze had the best ending of either of the Fodlan games.
