@@sikkicocomushi ahhh alright alright, thanks for that info, I just thought they didn't like subbed movies but I understand now, good clarification 👌 I still love their reactions though! Especially the last of us ones.
@@sikkicocomushi I think Steven has done fairly well with Shogun subtitles - picked up more than me on my first watch through! Hopefully they'll do SG2 using subtitles, but no matter what they chose they'll still do an awesome job.
Such a traumatic episode. IMO it was the chemistry of the characters that really gave this show its quality; above the story itself. And btw, anyone watching the series dubbed is missing out on the true character's emotions.
@@heisamushroom True. But they often times speak pretty fast in Korean films so it can still be a little difficult to follow. I personally like to watch dub and sub to compare them.
@phantomfrivolity2169 they can speak pretty fast, but maybe I've gone through so many years of watching kdramas that I don't struggle to keep up🤔 i actually find dubs too distracting in the mismatch between the character's mouth movements as well as the strange pitch and intonation of a conversation translated from korean to robotic sounding English😅
This Show and this episode is just like an excellent example on how to press on the nerves, that was an epic episode that filled you with emotions and took you in a ride that you never forget. I guess that the most obvious thing is that the acting is top tier specially from the 2 girls whom ironically played the most honest game besides the 2 thugs. But JI-YEONG and Sae Byeok were the most amazing thing and i cant find enough words to describe how their acting was so real and their delivery was so emotionally amazingly beautiful. Korean actors and actresses are the most talented but because of Hollywood no one hear about them however the act much better than most of the American and European actors. They have the ability to control and act the emotions and it's physical reaction to the human body like trembling lips and many another.
Omg I thought people were exaggerating when they said the dub was bad... what the hell was that?! Did they pay the actors like 5 dollars?! Were they even VAs to begin with?! Like no hate to whoever dubbed it but wow... those performances... did they even TRY?!
Watching this on my own I fell apart for Ali and the old man. With each reaction video it made me appreciate Ji-Yeong’s sacrifice and her character even more than anyone else’s.

@@conscientiousobserver8772 I'd agree with Scorsese that the current DCU and much of the latter half of the MCU isn't exactly great, even visually anymore. Loved this episode, such a tear jerker. That being said, I don’t know why so many people are belittling Sang-Woo for betraying player 199. Yes, it was a dick move, but this was a life or death situation that only one of them was walking away from. How many of you can honestly say that you wouldn’t do the same if put in the same situation? Sure, even after being asked that question, you’re probably still thinking that you would never do something like that. But you’re not in the same situation Sang-Woo was in. No one is pointing a gun to your head and telling you to betray the trust of a guy you just met in order to save yourself. If that did happen, I guarantee you that 99% of you would choose yourself over the stranger.
