At 80yrs still love this song. There were times my Mom would play this over and over and she and I would chime with Woody Herman singing. ladee da la la Dee da tis autumn.
It's currently September 18th 2021 for me. The first day of fall is in 4 days and the leaves are already changing colors and falling. I'm sitting here finishing up a mug of iced coffee and I must say this song fits the mood perfectly. :)
I agree with Linkhart and most certainly would not call it 'kitsch' .. The song fits her like a glove ! and apart from that it has always been one of my favourits : ) Thank you for sharing ! 10 stars ********** !
Lovely indeed. Rosie is so captivating singing this. It's from a 1961 episode of THE JO STAFFORD TV SHOW spotlighting the 4 seasons. Jo's other guest stars that evening were Mel Torme and Edd "Kookie" Byrnes. Quite enjoyable nostalgia!
Practically EVERY NOTE carbon copied from the late great NAT KING COLE(TRIO!). No sweat I would say! If there is one person I wouldn't mind doing this it's my female hero Rosemary. R.I.P. sister!!
thanks for this - but I wouldn't call it kitsch - it's a classic lost art .
Did Rose ever record this song? I can't seem to find it. Her voice🍂🍁😉💕
I love the feeling this song gives me on this 11th of September 2021, very comforting.
Hoje, 11 de setembro= 2 anos cravados dessa sensação única

What a lovely voice. She passed away in 2002. I really hate Death, but I guess the world would be overcrowded without it. May God forever keep her.
Lovely Rosemary…

What an absolutely delightful tune. It's one I haven't heard til now, and Rosemary sang it so well. I like the orchestral accompaniment too.

Flawless delivery
WUN TWO
I don't know that the label "kitsch" is properly applied here; it's a wonderful performance of a timeless and beautiful song.
Listening to this gem on 11/11/22: great!

I cannot find this song for download or purchase anywhere, but it is the best rendition of the lovely melody
Pretty song and Rose delivers with phrasing that's wonderful. Thanks for sharing this!
i just discovered this song today and I absolutely love it.. So beautiful
Rosemary’s version of this song is the best
I beg to differ. Esther Phillips.
Here in 2023! Happy Fall y'all
That lady is eternal...
is there a way i can read the lyrics?
The orchestral accompaniemt is a bit overblown but Rosie does nicely.
classic cool
Eh, nobody said the song was kitsch. In fact, we called it a pretty tune and said that Rosie sounds good. What's kitsch, is that kitschy set! :)
