- In this vlog we visit one of our most anticipated theme parks in the world, Tokyo DisneySea! The park opened in 2001 and is located next door to Tokyo Disneyland which can easily be reached by monorail or walking. The park is split up into 7 different ports of call, each of them home to impressive theming and fantastic rides and attractions.
In our day one vlog from DisneySea we explore the 7 different ports along with taking you on board the many different rides at the park. We also share our reviews from the attractions and shows we experience along with showing everything this fantastic park has to offer.

LOL! Just viewing you and Alex being blown away, mesmerized , by "The Little Mermaids " area. See, this is what brings me back to your VLOGS Shawn, you get it, and you capture it like no other. I must say though, coming from a Disney lifer, as much as you think you're enjoying these parks now with Alex and other various friends, the first time you bring your Child or children and expedience it with them through their eyes, Wow, so precious.

I always thought Disneyland was an over-commercialised, tacky, capitalist place and never wanted to go. But this place looks spectacular!
The weathering on some of the buildings is extraordinary! Amazingly authentic! Not sure if I would go out there myself someday just for a theme park, but I definitely think that it's brilliant for what it is.
This episode was so awesome. Happiness radiated from the screen :)
Best Disney park ever! It's just so beautiful! Makes me nostalgic, defiantly going back next year. The people are so friendly! Chandu is amazing! Sinbads journey is an amazing ride! I've got the song stuck in my head again now lol!

I went to Disney World Florida back in 1980 when I was just a child and went on the 20.000 leagues under the sea. What a experience, going to Disney was unheard of where I lived at that time so I was very lucky and will never forget that holiday.
Took my first trip in February, and will go again for Christmas this year. Favorite place in the world now... Japanese folk will form a line for anything, no joke.
I love experience rides too! I'm glad to see they are still doing them! Not all about the thrill rides...I enjoy them both!

This place is simply stunning. Its just so far infront of any other park for theming and immersion. I could spend two weeks there no problems. I have to go and will do when my little lad is old enough to manage a trip to Japan.

The idol in the preshow isn't a projection. It is an animatronic that can be pulled downwards (it's hard to see but there is a video showing what happens on RUclips)

I've lived in Los Angeles for 20 years. I love Disneyland with all my heart. Have the annual premium no block out days pass, BUT the area music,ride music,parade and show music is so much better at the Tokyo parks.....I have all of the soundtracks from Tokyo

Disney Sea looks absolutely amazing. One of the things I like about the look of this place is not just the rides, but the vast scenery and landscaping throughout the park. The dark rides though look very impressive though.

The story of this Tower of Terror is linked to Mystic Manor, the two main characters on both rides are part of 'The Society of Explorers and Adventurers', and it also links to Jungle Cruise and Big Thunder Mountain apparently. I think its the best backstory Disney have ever come up with and I'd love to see some more rides built with this theme!
Seeing your vlogs of all these Disney parks makes me very sad that my closest park is Disneyland Paris... I wish that park were as beautiful as this one! Absolutely jealous of you and Alex!

This was the video that I've looked forward to the most from your recent China and Japan trip. Great video - I loved every minute of it and it makes me want to drop everything and go back to DisneySea - IMMEDIATELY!
I couldn't want to see and hear your guys' reaction to the entrance to DisneySea at Mediterranean Harbor at 2:00 because that kind of stunned silence is exactly what I expressed when I first went there in 2016. When you panned your camera to the left at 2:45 and caught a quick glimpse of Alex just standing there, mouth wide open, as he was absorbing in all of the themeing details just speaks volumes about what DisneySea is like. That was *exactly* how I felt too.
I absolutely salute and love the work that you guys have done to show everyone on RUclips what DisneySea is like but to be honest, when it comes to DisneySea, words, videos, websites, photos, etcetera just do not do it justice. Please do not take this as a knock against your videos because you have both done an absolutely fantastic job of capturing this park for everyone to enjoy. It's just that DisneySea is *that* amazing that all those forms of communication cannot accurately describe or capture it. The simple truth is that if you're into theme/amusement parks, you just have to experience DisneySea for yourself. Definitely watch the videos like this one and read up as much information as you can before you go there but you just have to see and experience it for yourself.
Before I went to DisneySea I used to think that Islands of Adventure was a very well themed park. That is a parking lot carnival compared to DisneySea. (Well not entirely, butI'm sure that you get my point.) DisneySea has rewritten my theme park book and it has definitely raised the bar that all other parks have to reach to in the future for me.
Oh, and don't worry about overhype and the videos and websites spoiling DisneySea for you either. I had been reading up on the park as much as possible ever since construction on it started and it did not spoil the park for me one single bit when I first went there in 2016. Fifteen years of doing research into DisneySea did not spoil the park for me at all. Yes, it is *that* good and I cannot wait to go back again...which I will be (if all goes well) in fall 2017.

I like watching you guys be amazed by what you see. This is why i like watching this channel. However i think this park you must see and feel by yourself. I do not think the video does justice to how the park really is and feels even though you are telling us how it feels. Wow looks utterly unbelievable. To think how big Disney's contractors book must be to find and buy all of these small details they add to the parks. All the hours of man work gone in to this place is, as Alex said, incomprehensible

Was at portaventura the other day got 3 rides on shambhala back row second from front and a night ride , the queues were so quiet for everything except hurakan condor so unfortunately I didn't get on it

New sub here and I'm having a blast watching your vlogs! I know everyone is super hip on Disney Sea, but to me it just didn't feel very Disney. The architecture is certainly gorgeous, but I definitely miss the fantasy elements...that's what Disney IS after all. Other than the Mermaid area and Triton's Kingdom, I was rather let down.
It's interesting to hear different feedback on it, the park does have some amazing theming and features
If you went back and had to choose between Disney sea and Disney land to visit again which would you choose? I'd love to do both but if I can only do one I'm not sure what to choose and why!?

Just did my own "mega trip" following you guys. Adding some tips, as mentioned for travel... Tokyo metro... don't. Try the bus. All roads lead to Disney, and can figure your hotel from there. Also, if fly into Haneda airport, then take shuttle bus to "Domestic Terminal" buses run all day frequently. Not so at "International Terminal".
Park tickets... everyone I talked to also could not order ahead on line (big problems. You'll need to call. Hope your Japanese is good!) So... elected to buy ticket at park. But... be ready to go. You start on the day you purchase, and if a 4-day ticket, for example, each day must be used in succession. Found out hard way as no one speaks English, even at Ticket booths.
So...ended up at Disney Sea again on a Saturday for last day. Seemed to be about same crowds as during the week. But, is because they wait in line for restaurants and food stands! Do yourself a favor and bring a protein bar or such. (I never ate all day. Park open until 10:pm and every hour, every restaurant, ever popcorn stand I noted 60min. wait easy).
Some tips... get fast pass for Tower ride! All fast passes done for day by 11:am/sold out.
Indiana Jones ride... 3 hour waits, every hour. Ah, but... single rider! Need to ask for it, but 15mins. max wait!
Amazing both parks. Haunted Mansion at Christmas... wow. Is a "Nightmare Before Christmas" theme. Wow...! Thanks guys.

So fun to see your footage the Tokyo Parks! I'm wondering how you were able to get such great on ride footage? Our one regret from our trip in June is we were told by Cast Members on almost every attraction that we had to put our camera (just a small go pro) away and couldn't film. Thanks for the amazing footage and Keep up the really great work!
We had a few issues with filming on some of the attractions however mostly we was fine to do so

Didn´t they hand out the english story summary at tower of terror? In general how did you cope with the waiting times, my queuing record at TDS was 4 hours at Center of the Earth.
