I'd hate to see your adventure end, but this is your hike and do what's best for your heart and your body and your mind. You are more than just a video personality. You are a real person. Thank you for showing so much of the trail! Most videos I've seen of Connecticut make it look pretty flat and kind of uninteresting, but I can see that's not the case! I'm in awe of your perseverance. I could not hike an additional 3miles into town or until 10 o'clock at night! Glad you made it to the hotel and that there was a room available! :)

Yep, she’s moving along. I took a bit longer in my hike. I found a trail family that I absolutely fell in love with and we were all not in a huge hurry. We hit all the views and towns and just absorbed all the AT had to offer. I came back the next year to do it again and immediately found myself in a much faster group and we went way faster. If you have the opportunity, I’d recommend doing the trail once slow and once fast.

And, the brook babbles, the trees rustle, the birds chirp, the butterfly flutters, the bear lumbers. We think we are in solitude. But, often, nature speaks to us quietly, with gentle meaning that we are not alone. 90% of success is showing up. The other 10% is following up. You are on your way! Lastly, Hydrate! Be well.
