I have never been a fan of antique dolls but rather the exquisite Madame Alexander dolls of the 1950's and their fabulous clothes. However after watching this well presented video I must admit I am craving a French Fashion doll now. This video changed my mind and I love the narrator, his voice is so refined and soothing. Wish he was given credit.
HI! This video was fully produced and narrated by Michael Canadas at The Grovian Doll Museum. It is fully credited in the description of the video. We are glad you enjoyed it!
I have been intrigued with these beautiful dolls for years. Thank you for for doing this video so we can all enjoy seeing the and, learning their history. I would love to sew for one of them.❤️
Such a wonderful presentation. I wish there were more interest among young girls. They have no idea what they are missing. The history is amazing. Thank You.
I bet very few little girls had these as they were obviously very expensive. This is a great tour of the museum. I enjoyed it. I wonder if there are other exhibits out there of the dolls that were more affordable back then.
Mademoiselle Fifi looks just like my grandmother, down to her plump body and dissatisfied visage. But then, they were almost of the same generation! I have her small china heads, in spite of her look, she was a generous grandmother and a lifelong doll lover.
Thank you Rachel for showing these beautiful dolls .

So calming to watch "doll t.v.", as I like to call it, Michael! I have a pair of those rubber overshoes but they are all black and about an 1" long!

I would like to see 18th century fashion dolls made for Marie Antoinette.
