I too had a 16 GB email box to clean out and this video helped me soo much. I just followed the steps one by one and it was extremely helpful. They now have release 7.1 out but according to all the reviews it is not real popular so when I went to the website to download it I downloaded version 6 as they will allow you to download whichever release you want. Works just as expected and I accomplished my job of cleaning out Gmail. Thanks very much for such a great time-saving video!!
I was having such a hard time migrating my web gmail to my private mail account and your instructions got me thru it. THANK YOU! I estimate a large time savings going forward as I won't have to log in/out of each account any longer.

What about if old account has "sending" mails and several folders (or labels)...are you able to move to the new one as equal was the older? how it will reflect on smartphone...
Not sure what you mean by "Sending" mails. As for folders, these transfer just as easily, as for labels, you'd have to re-label them. In regards to smartphone this is something unrelated as the smartphone app related to the end product, not the processes described within. I.E. You connect to your mail provider via your smartphone and your emails are there.

Great video...I encounter two probs however...I do not see the ribbon to click the toolbar you click on to add another account...and there is no option in the app to add another account. I have been trying this for 4 hours with no success. On the first attempt, add another account was offered.. I did it. However, only one appears in the left menu where you show two accounts. So no way to drag the mails to the new account...on every attempt to download and set up after the first setup....there was no offer to add another account..and as I mentioned there is no toolbar at the top...HELP????
Hello J.P. i have been planning to update this video, the problem with software is that over the years, there is a high probability of everything changing. I will try and release a video in the next month as an update to this.
@@considerednormal Maybe you could also create a video showing how to install the Toolbar ribbon.. Not one of the methods I have looked at actually works.. I've not had the toolbar for many years now.
After you transfer the email, will you continue to receive emails to that account or the older one?
You would still receive email on the old one. This video only describes transferring mail from one account to another, mainly if you are changing domains or Internet service providers. You would still need to inform everyone of the change so they start to send to the new address. If you are changing free mail accounts (Hotmail, yahoo, gmail) you might be able to set up the old email as a forwarder (I know Gmail supports this) so any new mail going to the old account gets forwarded to the new one.
So after you transfer accounts you go back to your old account and send out a msg to everyone saying you've changed emails?
@@brandenposey7127yes, that would be one way. Some providers also allow email forwarding (Gmail supports this) in which it will forward any mail sent to the old account over to the new.

If you are going to AOL, Verizon gives you a link in the notification email. Your name & email are already filled in. You just add your birthday, pick & provide answer to secret question give them a number to send code which you fill in and your AOL with /verizon.net email address account will be created.

Does it cost money
The application has a free version which supports up to two email addresses. This will allow you to transfer the email from one to the other.

+Ender Rocky then you may need to talk to your mail server administrator to make sure everything is set up properly.
@@basvisuals348sorry for the late reply (7 years later). No, this does not transfer apps or anything else associated with the account. Just transfers emails
