I don't know how this eluded me for so long but I gotta say, this was one of the best brickfilms I have ever seen! It just has so much soul, attention to detail, professional camera shots, voice acting and sound design; its out of this world. As an avid Indiana Jones fan myself, I really enjoyed the subtle callbacks to the original franchise, such as the relic opening scene where Indy and Cora witness the "ceremony" (temple of doom ritual), the uncovering of the artifact itself (raiders ark ark opening), hanging onto the truck (raiders truck chase), and Indy stepping in to save the day (temple of doom saving the children). Yet at the same time, the story was original and very well thought out! (The twist with Cora really got me). I like how you added a dark element to your film similar to that of Temple of Doom (but much darker lol). I usually don't like mouth movements when it comes to lego animations, but it worked perfectly for this film! Again, his is criminally underrated - amazing job man!
Thank you so much for taking the time to let me know what my brickfilm means to you! Yeah, I wanted to have a bunch of scenes that were highly reminiscent of scenes from the Indiana Jones movies. You pretty much made a spot-on observation; comparing the scenes from my film to the ones I got inspiration from😅. Funny enough, I actually wrote most of the dialogue after animating everything, so I didn’t even know where I wanted the story to go. Upon watching my first cut of the movie, I realized that I needed to add/ delete scenes to make the story work. I removed several pointless action scenes and replaced them with thought-out character scenes. Definitely made it better. I’m glad you managed to find this video somewhere in the corner of the internet 😄 (Pinning this comment)
@@kevincoelho3872agreed on all fronts…Just rewatched this again, I would love to work with you on a Temple of Doom II type sequel…Maybe the originally planned haunted house Indiana Jones 4 movie that almost came in the 90’s…Loved youre take on Indy/I consider this a canon story in my head canon…I have plenty of Indiana Jones part, figures, etc… if you’re ever interested in making a Sequel to this with a Haunted house theme/Temple of Doom type style
This blew me away. I cannot believe the level of detail you put into this. Action scenes were crazy and production value shined through the whole movie. Phenomenal job, Kevin.
This has got to be one of the best stop motion Lego films I have ever seen! Everything about this is incredible, the story and script is just like an actual Indiana Jones movie! Steven Spielberg himself would be proud of this project.
Wow, just wow. I am working on a Lego Indiana Jones project myself and this has been a huge inspiration for me. The lighting, the script, the ambience. Everything is perfect! I can't thank you enough for making this animation!
I discovered this video a while ago, along with 'Indiana Jones: And the Emperor's Eye' (Which I'm going to check out next). I had intended to watch both for the longest time, but I never had the time to, or just forgot about it. I finally sat down to watch Staff of Gods today, and holy hell, that was incredible! The amount of care, and passion you put into this project is unbelievable. This exceeded beyond any expectations I had, it was incredibly cinematic. The story felt like an Indiana Jones movie, I could totally see this happening between Last Crusade and Crystal Skull. The voice acting was top notch too, you managed to get some wonderful performances out of your actors. I especially liked the guy playing the villain, he really stole the show for me. The actor playing Indy was also really good, there were several deliveries that sounding exactly like Harrison Ford. When he said 'They're Nazis! What did you expect?' was uncanny how match it sounded like Ford. The dialogue was witty, fast paced, and belongs in an Indiana Jones film. I especially liked the exchanges between Indy and the villain when he's hanging on the roof, that felt right out of the scene where he points the Bazooka at Belloq. There were a ton of callbacks and homages to the films that had me smiling. I loved the ceremony scene, the truck chase, and there always being a secondary Nazi bad guy lmao. You even got the font right at the beginning, that's incredible attention to detail. The animation and cinematography were expertly done. When I was making my film 'The Heart of the Seas' I constantly pulled my hair out when I was animating, and kind of half assed it. Here, you managed to have both a great story, and feel incredibly cinematic. As other people have mentioned in the comments, the camerawork was very dynamic. In most stop motions, even the most professional ones, the camera is typically stationary, not moving around a ton. There were several shots that made me say 'How on earth did you do that?' seriously impressive work. I did have a few things I didn't like (Don't worry, theres not a ton). I wasn't really that invested into the female character. Indy always has to have a companion of some sort on his adventures, but she didn't feel that developed. Marion for example was really fiesty, Willie was dramatic, Elsa was seductive, I felt like I didn't really get to know her all that well. It was to the point where I didn't really buy her and Indy's connection (but you managed to make me audibly gasp when he accidentally shot her, so you must be doing something well XD). That's just my personal preference, I thought she could have used one or two more quirks or scenes to make her more distinctive. The other thing I wasn't a fan of, was the jumping around in time. Granted this doesn't happen a ton, but it felt jarring when it did. This mainly comes more from the fact that none of the other Jones movies did this, and not really a reflection on the film. Once again, just personal preference, I was never confused when did that, just more surprised. And the last thing, which is really picking at straws, is the location. My history is very fuzzy, but what are the Nazis doing in South East Africa? Shouldn't they be closer to Egypt around that time? It might have been cool if the story took place there, possibly even revisiting some locations/set pieces from Raiders (Perhaps even seeing Sallah again, lmao) but that's just more me thinking about what could have been, not what the movie is. Overall, this was a fantastic watch. It managed to pay homage to the original films, while also having its own distinctive identity. Seriously incredible work, this makes me want to get back into brickfilming. I give it a 8/10.
I can’t believe it took me so long to get to your comment. Beautiful ❤️ thank you so much for all the kind words and valid criticisms. The jumping around in time was because I realized I didn’t have important exposition, so i crammed that in through random flashback. If i had actually written a proper script beforehand, it might have been better. I’m looking forward to checking out your animation when it comes out 😁
This was actual art. Incredibly well done. The shots were cinematic, the action scenes were engaging, and all the characters got some time to be fleshed out. This was genuinely better than Indy 4&5. Loved it, excellent stuff
I don’t know how I haven’t seen this, I grew up watching your zombie animations and when I came across this i was stunned. The voice acting, the originality, etc, everything is perfect. You also proved you don’t need a high FPS to make a great film. Great job!
So dramatic, and you actually made me Care for the characters! The figures feel like they're acting, the Voice acting, The camera movement, animation, sets... All awesome... Terrific!!!
Thank you for blessing us with this piece of art! It's been a long time since i've seen a Indiana Jones brickfilm. For sure all the time and effort that you put on it was worth every minute of this incredible animation!
I was a bit late to finding this but I gotta tell you man, this was terrific. You managed to tell an incredibly effective story with your incorporation of camera movement, editing, music, dialogue, etc., that feels like it belongs right next to all the Indiana Jones movies that we've all grown up with! Your pacing is very well thought-out too. I really like all your action scenes, especially when they are coupled with a lot of slower moments that allow the viewer to breathe and feel more excited when the action starts back up again. And gaw damn man I can't tell you how great it was to watch Indy helping the citizens so that they could fight back against the Nazis because the setup and pay off to that moment was very well constructed as well. You and everyone involved should be very proud of this because it's awesome and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next!!
JayRed56 what carefully thought out praise!☺️ it means a lot to get such feedback from my viewers. I’m trying to get better at smoothing out my animations and set design, but it’s nice to have the story, pacing, and camera movement noticed and appreciated!
This is my favorite lego Stopmotion ever, and I’ve been watching stopmotions forever… This is just so inspiring and it’s essentially peak brickfilming, it’s all brickfilming was ever made to be and all it ever has to be. Thank you, I originally edited it with John Williams music, but then decided against it; because I wanted the story and characters to carry the video; not the music.
I’ve watched so many LEGO stop motions in my life, and I have to say this is by far one of the best I’ve every seen. So much hard work and passion has been put into this. Really good job :)

Raiders of the Lost ark is my favorite movie of all time so I always love when Indy gets some brick film love. Absolutely love this. Story characters action everything just phenomenal well worth the wait and lives up to the Indiana Jones brand.
WOW, this stop motion movie is insanely good!!! 😮 I mean the dynamic camera work, the well thought out and especially brutal action choreography and the really emotional story, it's all really masterfully done. Without a doubt the most creative and exciting stop-motion film I've seen yet! The beginning alone is so cinematic and captivating! I can't imagine how many hours of work and exhaustion this project took. For me it’s incomprehensible that such a great video doesn't get the attention it definitely deserves. I bet the upcoming Indiana Jones movie won't be as emotional and ingenious as yours! Thank you so much for sharing! What a video, man! Really inspiring!!! ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words ☺️ yeah, this project has stolen a great many of my blood, sweat, and tears. I was hoping that with the new movie coming out, it would get a lot of recognition. At least, thankfully, I get people like you taking time out of your day to not only watch the whole thing, but leave a heartfelt message for me about how you received it. 🥰 I really love the Indiana Jones IP and consider this animation a love letter
How many times have I rewatched it... Support this man. Give him likes from all of your accounts and share this video! It is a credibly insane piece of LEGO stop motion art.
I should have commented this when it was released, but I guess it's better now then never. This is one of my favorite stop motion animations that's on this platform. I first heard of this animation 3 years ago from your first trailer and have been waiting ever since. Needless to say, it was worth it.
This is an incredible brickfilm, and was absolutely maginficent to watch! I think this was a great direction to take Indy, and the only thing I'd like to see different is maybe an appearance from Henry Jones SR.
A really brillant Indy adventure 😀! Music, animation, background, action, tension, drama ... all perfect, congratulation 🏆!! And honestly, this is a 100 times better than the latest "Dial of Destiny" live action movie in the theater! I just have two minor points to mention: a) The figures move too much while speaking (looks a bit unrealistic) and b) too much gore (horror film like). But as I'm creating brickfilms too, I know what a huge amount of work it is making such a film and the story of this one is really captivating. Thanks for this terrific adventure animation, it's truly fantastic entertainment 👍
Thank you for your praise and critiques☺️ you’re right about the movements, they’re a little all over the place. I was afraid of keeping the animation still for too long thinking people would get bored. The only thing I personally have to disagree with you on is Dial of Destiny. I loved that movie; my personal opinion
Nice filming! I like this very good tribute to the most famous adventurer of Hollywood, especially the scenes with the Staff with impressive effects! It is a very good job! Good luck for your next creation :D
Right from the start with the incredible lengthy shot, the camera work is the standout for me. Other aspects are great as well, like the voice acting. Congratulations on your achievement!
These are the type of brickfilms that I love, the ones that oozes the same feel and energy that the original source material captures. Honestly the direction of this project was some of the best I've seen in a Lego Animation, with good cinematography and performances. I love the amount of dedication and research that must have gone into it and that's why this brickfilm (storywise) could easily fit into the Indiana Jones canon. Very well done. 👏👏👏

The camera work and shots in the scene where they first find the trident is fucking crazy phenomenal.
I have now seen it all and its amazing! Well worth the wait it was all sooo good, you're such a great animator and I hope to see more content from you in the future!! Bravo 👏
Thank you, I love seeing these comments from repeat viewers. Very encouraging. I surely feel the love
Incredible! This is so good Kevin, I can tell you worked extra hard making this and it's worth the wait for me and many others. If you ask me this film is a whole lot more better then what Disney is doing. Thanks for making this, have a like.👍
This could easialy pass as a movie, or a lego game! GREAT JOB!
Dude i love this movie so much bro, like when jones shot her i was actually like woah, bro like I've been here sense the beginning pretty much and I've been so hyped for this, and it's well deserved bro, absolutely amazing dude
Thank you so much. I’m glad you liked it so much. It means everything to me.
This all feels like an Indy 4 before Indy 4 lol. I loved it so much, and even tho the music is copyrighted i could still imagine certain themes coming in and out of scenes the entire time. You've really captured Indy with this film!
Thank you, I originally edited it with John Williams music, but then decided against it; because I wanted the story and characters to carry the video; not the music.
Yo this was great loved every second of it :D)
This part was to funny 😂 13:59 😊
I’ve watched so many LEGO stop motions in my life, and I have to say this is by far one of the best I’ve every seen. So much hard work and passion has been put into this. Really good job :)
Thank you so much ☺️
Can you Please make a sequel with henry jones senior or marcus brody?
This is a masterpiece! One of the best fan projects ive ever seen on RUclips and best fan made Indiana Jones fan movie movies. I felt like I was watching an actual Indiana Jones movie. It's definitely ten times better than the dial of destiny. You deserve all the praise in the world!!
This is so sweet, thank you :) a lot of love and hard work was put into this project
Raiders of the Lost ark is my favorite movie of all time so I always love when Indy gets some brick film love.
Absolutely love this. Story characters action everything just phenomenal well worth the wait and lives up to the Indiana Jones brand.
I’m so thrilled I could live up to the hype!! Thank you so much for the kind words. Raiders is my favorite too
Literally some of the best Indiana Jones action I’ve ever seen
Thank you for such high praise😊
Surprised this didn’t get a million views yet
finally... It's HERE
Wow, this is one of the best lego stop motions I've ever seen. I really like how you took inspiration from the original Indiana Jones movies as well.
I am blown away by this, this would make a great fan comic
Im not against someone adapting this into one 😂
This was bloody excellent. Interesting story, great animation and awesome action scenes. Well done.
WOW, this stop motion movie is insanely good!!! 😮
I mean the dynamic camera work, the well thought out and especially brutal action choreography and the really emotional story, it's all really masterfully done.
Thanks guys, this one’s for you
How many times have I rewatched it... Support this man. Give him likes from all of your accounts and share this video! It is a credibly insane piece of LEGO stop motion art.
🙏 thank you so much. I’m glad it was worth re-watching ☺️
This animation Is fantastic! I dont know how time past the director but its fantastic
Yeah sorry it does jump around a bit
I loved this so much, good stop motions are a rarity nowadays and I would love to see more.
I should have commented this when it was released, but I guess it's better now then never. This is one of my favorite stop motion animations that's on this platform. I first heard of this animation 3 years ago from your first trailer and have been waiting ever since. Needless to say, it was worth it.
You’re right, it’s better late than never ☺️ glad I could live up to the hype
This is an incredible brickfilm, and was absolutely maginficent to watch! I think this was a great direction to take Indy, and the only thing I'd like to see different is maybe an appearance from Henry Jones SR.
I’m glad you enjoyed it :) an appearance from Henry Jones would have been nice, i just couldn’t figure out how to work it in
A really brillant Indy adventure 😀!
I’m glad I could entertain
Watching this in dark room is feeling like theater!
I’m happy you found the optimal viewing environment:)
Now that the new film dropped we can confirm that you have more talent and skills than a fully payed director from Disney
Thank you for the praise, 😁 I still haven’t watched the new movie. (No spoilers 🤫)
Right from the start with the incredible lengthy shot, the camera work is the standout for me. Other aspects are great as well, like the voice acting. Congratulations on your achievement!
Thank you 😊
I’m 2 minutes in and man I have to say you are a film maker. Keep it up man wow 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I watched this over and over again and it is the same level as the original trilogy
Im glad I could tickle the nostalgia bone in a respectable way 😌
These are the type of brickfilms that I love, the ones that oozes the same feel and energy that the original source material captures. Honestly the direction of this project was some of the best I've seen in a Lego Animation, with good cinematography and performances. I love the amount of dedication and research that must have gone into it and that's why this brickfilm (storywise) could easily fit into the Indiana Jones canon.
Very well done. 👏👏👏
Thank you so much😅 I can only hope to capture the spirit of the movies! I’m glad all the work paid off. You got a new subscriber btw! I dig the Lego Batman noir stuff
@@kevincoelho3872 Thank you 🙂
This is better than KOTCS 😂 my only criticism so far is the title could be better but man the direction and animation in this is amazing💚
I clapped at the end, Awesome work I loved this so much. Thank you for making this!!!
Man, this is insane! it is so amazing! I really want to see here a mot more views and likes. You deserve it!
One of the bests. Amazing dude!
This is fantastic! I’m a huge Indiana jones fan and you made something would make Spielberg proud! Where did you get your music from?
Thank you ❤️ Envato Elements is the cite. Lots of great stuff on there!
@@kevincoelho3872 Thanks a lot my friend! :)
Now this belongs in a museum. Great job man honestly. Can’t wait to see the new movie and sets coming out later this year. Would be great to see if you do anything with the new sets
going to watch this tomorrow night, so happy to find another long lego indie animation after the emperors eye
I love that one. It’s loosely what inspired me to make one of my own
It’s finally here!
Man I love the African campaign and Indiana jones so this is perfect for me
As a Brazilian, listen to this broken portuguese was super awesome haha! Great brickfilm, really felt like an Indiana Jones movie.
Eu tô tão feliz que gostou 😁
49:58 Wow, have you ever thought if there was an Indiana Jones movie with a death like that!?
Haha yeah I know it’s a little derivative
It continues the tradition though.
So cool! this could have been an awesome movie, redeeming the indiana jones franchise. Such wudnerful storytelling and anniamtion, definitely of the most udnerrated videos on youtube
Thank you! ☺️I might be in the minority, but I don’t think the franchise ever needed redemption
Amazing film experience I'm looking forward to see your next project 😀
Thank you so much, I’m glad you liked it :)
Incredible work. If this were released in the early days of YT brickfilms it would have a million views.
Oh if only they were still huge like back then..
Ok, so: Im 20 minutes in right now, and you absolutely NAILED the terrible german voiceacting they had in the real film. Amazing!
Haha one of my favorite comments!!
This was the best Brickfilm what I ever seen 👍
Nice work on this.
Helluva animation. Amazing job! I could only hope to get to the level your at right now!
This is so good I love it
I really feel like in a cinema
underrated masterpiece
Amazing, is there a sequel in the works?
My only complaint is no subtitles to translate the German words
It was a choice I made to match the style of the Indiana Jones movies, which don’t translate what the Germans are saying.
@@kevincoelho3872 fair enough
Kind of an underrated thing about the franchise. People always wonder what the Germans were saying.
That was fantastic i really enjoyed it! i look forward to your future projects! i would like to see more Indy content though! because there is not enough out and there the Indiana Jones fandom is very underappreciated but i am sure with the 5th one coming out in 2023 i bet there will be more Indy stuff coming out! Overall great work!
I was actually thinking about going back and doing more Indy stuff; maybe recreate 30 seconds from the movies
I hope this gets the amount of views it deserves
Finally this doesn’t disappoint
Bruh!!! You clearly deserve more likes, this is better than indiana jones 4
Thank you so much🥰 this can be your Indiana Jones 4
Finished it now, it was amazing, I just missed the "lonely little boy playing on the sand box" line that we saw on the trailer
Thank you! Yeah I scrapped that line, sadly.
