I am so glad I’ve waited this long to buy the mini cinch. I already have the big version and have been wanting the disc. This is perfect. Hopefully it’ll be available at Michaels soon.
I love the Cinch and I like the different punches. What I would like to have are smaller binding wires. I like to make little books for my grandchildren or small photobooks to carry with me, but these wires are huge. If they were smaller, they would easily fit into a diaper bag or Grandma's purse.
this sort of binding was available decades ago (definitely early 90s) called Wire-O-Bind, we had the "cincher" machine for our printing business (you measured the depth of the spine then chose the size of wire). This is a hobby version of the same thing
@judalea17 I know that. I was making calendars back before color printers were something most people had in their homes. If they're doing a mini cinch to make small books, the binding should reflect that. The only ones they have are huge. They should have a smaller version of the wires as well for small memory books and kids books that will fit into a purse or diaper bag. There are very few things I need those giant binding wires for.
LOVE this New Mini Cinch!! 🥰 1 Problem though is Why can't you Center the "Hearts, Circles, & Squares" Punches?? If you look there's More Space after the Last Hole on the Bottom vs the Space Before the 1st Hole @ the Top. Is there a way to fix that? I have the bigger cinch and it always mishaps my wire into an oval - ish shape. If I use the corresponding setting for my wire size, it doesn’t close the binding and the pages fall out. If I decrease a little, it misshapes.

$140 + $40 each for cartridges and the punched holes aren’t centered on the page. Lots of money for imperfect results. Come on WRM fix this.
The holes not being centred is a user error. Where I live, each cartridge is almost $80 and the machine is $270 (with two cartridges).

Just purchased. There’s no “letter” size alignment option. Which one do I use for that?
Hi! Letter size is 8 1/2 x 11 inches so if you want to bind on the 11 inch side you’d follow the guide for “whole” numbers.

We recommend using the centering feature to get the holes evenly dispersed.

What is the pitch for the ‘spiral’ binding option? The original Cinch is 2:1. Is this the same? And how is it different than the ‘circle’ option?
Hi! The holes on the Spiral punch are smaller and the pitch is 3:1. The pitch on the Circle, Square and Heart punches is 2:1.
