This is by far the most comprehensive guide of the machine. I saw a ton of videos and they explain very little about the guides and the crimping at the back etc.
Well done for your great video. 2 things to highlight: 1.There is very good Reason for the back page being put on the top, this is to help prevent the pages from falling out as the Back page is then on the straight edge of the spine ( (Good to use something a bit thicker for the Back Page) 2. in order to stop the pages coming loose you can push each of the rungs manually so that they pass each other Push manually a little more than the machine closes them, but in order for this to work The Back page MUST be the last one you put on. So that the Back page stays on the back of the spine, which then guides the spine & gives every other page the ability to turn smoothly. Hope this Helps
So glad you talked about liking the spiral instead of the of the wires that go in the square holes. I was thinking I'd prefer the spiral like you used. I'm thinking of getting this. Your demonstration video is convincing me that this is the cincher I should buy. Thank you so much!~ Wish I could give you 100 thumbs up!
Great informative introduction to the multi cinch! Thank you for sharing your discoveries. Your punch guide book is brilliant and helped me to understand how to make this tool work for me. Really good tutorial.
Thanks so much for this wonderful tutorial. I made the guide book, wat a great tip. Maybe I have a tip for you about removing the tray with punch outs. I frist remove the cartridge and then gently push the tray out from the insiders. That way the punch outs don’t fly everywhere . Best Regards, Mirande
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this video. No other video that I watched told me what the marking meant to get perfect alignment. I appreciate this. I’ve been struggling to figure this out.
Thank you so much for your amazing and wonderful demo and review of the multi cinch I been looking at getting it and now have more of an idea of how it actually works lol😂.
Hi, thank you for this detailed information! I am looking trying to decide if I want a 2nd hand gray & yellow Cinch & a multi or just one or the other…I am closer to deciding now. This will be my 1st time using these machines. New subscriber 😊
Hiiii....LUV IT! ❤ LUV IT! ❤ LUV IT!❤ Just what I've been looking for. Perfect detailed explanation. I hope I can find it. Thank-U Soooo Much. Blessings
What a great demo....thanks...I have one of the first ones that were sold. I love my Cinch machine. I have complete several scrapbooks with mine....thanks again for sharing this demo and the hacks were good....😊
Thank you so much for all of this great info! You did a fantastic job explaining and providing great tips! 😁 oh yes, and absolutely love the beautiful guide you created! I really need and want to make one! 😍
Hi Thanks for sharing a really helpful tutorial 👍 I am so glad & very happy I found your crafty craft channel because whatever you are demoing you always do such a super duper fab job all so wonderfully clear step by step from start to finish 👍❤️🙂
Best tutorial I have seen yet. I have a Mini which only uses square holes. Can I use a spiral wire instead of the binding wire. Your are right it is better. Thanks
I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and I really enjoy your content. You really enjoy crafting and it shows. Of all the reviews I’ve watched about this mini Cinch, yours is the most comprehensive and the most easily understandable. Thank you!
What a great video! It's more than just a tutorial; it's an intimate guide! I bought the larger Cinch in 2019 with plans to bind my custom baseball scorekeeping sheet into books, but then baseball season was delayed for months and in the meantime, I learned how to bind books with thread and I never got back to the coil project. I'd still like to give it a try, but I really wish I had this newer model with different cartitridge options and a smaller footprint! I probably will cave and pick up WRMK's book binding template tool-at least that will slide into a drawer.
I've found the more I use it the more I really love it. The bigger one is great for perfect hole placement and not to much thinking about it. I just picked up one and love it also. TFW ❤😊❤
I just got one of these and not sure about using it. I wanted it because we have a wedding in our family later in the year and thought it could be useful . Your video is very helpful. Not sure I understand your guide , but I'm guessing after starting to use this punch it will make since. I understand your goal with the guide. Thanks wish me luck on using the Cinch. I'm 73 years young.
You’re great at tutorials! I just found you and you explain and show everything so clearly. Your guide book is genius! I’m so happy I found you and can follow your channel to see all your creations!
Your tutorial is amazing! So helpful and exactly the information that I was struggling to find. Great job explaining everything and making it make sense. Thank you!
Hi Tammy. Good review of the mini Cinch. I have the larger Cinch. I have made lots of notebooks with it. I do hide the binding inside and do not have any trouble with pages falling out. I think I need to get some spiral binders.
Thanks. I just bought the big Heidi swap cinch and am waiting for it, I wanted to see what the difference was and if it would make the wire combs crimp together more so pages won't fall out.
@@funtimecrafts2472That might be the trick. It has different settings for crimping the wire. Mine is teal blue and big, and punches round holes. But it works great.
The big reason for putting the back cover on top and then flipping it to the back after binding is to keep the pages from falling out. Might be worth trying even if you don't like the look of it.
Fun video (and longer too - yay!) I have the Zutter Bind-It-All that I've had good success with. However I really like the WRMK spiral which I would probably exclusively use. So many tools, so little money haha.
Great demo. I have a binder machine I have had for years. Don’t remember the name. The binding for it are all plastic. The cinch machine seems more complicated. I can bind 2-3 inches of paper at the same time. I don’t think I will be buying one of the cinch, but it is handy.
The cinch isn't shady I own thr big one and I love it and getting the mulit one too. Her spacing on her papers are not accurate she ki d of doing it wrong but that works for her
I have the disc binding cinche one and it annoyed me that it wasn't center aligned. my husband added a paddle pop stick to my guide with a bulldog clip it is even now :D lol I was thinking about 3d printing an added guide but I don't have to. thank you for your tips. I wrote my last comment before I finished watching the video.
i just made 2 wire ones today, thanks for your tips especially on the infor what each punch meant with the info on the side i cant see so i use my cell phone by taking a pic so i can read them...i just got my cinch was hsn also, they are out of everything at this time so i had to shop around for the seperate punch parts .someplaces are so expensive!!! I have them all except the square ,stll waiting for my bands to come to try that style ,I love the stitching oone too...and made 1.
Thank you for a great review! I noticed there's also a heart punch for this cinch. I love hearts but trying to think of what I would use it for, besides just punching heats on the edge of a piece of paper. It's $30.33 so that would be a lot just for that. Curious if you have ideas of what else it would be used for. I'm thinking it may not be useful just for binding. Would love to hear your thoughts. :)
This is a great video!! I cannot find where to purchase the multi cinch. I have looked through previous comments to know if anyone else has asked, can I purchase one of your vide books or will you share the instructions and materials used to make yours?
Nice demo and review! Sad WRM has issued another shoddy product (Disc Cinch has issues too). Holes were not centered on your initial sample and the circle cartridge should've punched your copy paper cleanly. The Disc Cinch doesn't punch centered holes unless your project size is a whole or a half. IMO, that alignment guide is the culprit and its flawed. At $149.99 +, you should not have had to create a template. I have the Version 2 Cinch and that machine works perfectly every time.
I just picked up one of those, and it does work really nice for punching, but it's a little tricky for crimping the binders. I'm still figuring that out. Tfw!! ❤😊
Hello again. I have another question for you. I also bought the multi cinch and 7 cartridge bundle last week. It came today without any packaging, just the items wrapped in bubble wrap, instructions, all inside a brown shipping box. Is this how they sent yours? I see the we r memory keepers box in the background and was wondering how yours came. Thanks in advance 🙏
Mine came from HSN like that as well. I like the reduced packaging. There is plenty of help on the WeR website and RUclips videos such as this one, so more elaborate instructions aren’t necessary. My only issue is having even gaps at either end of the punched paper; the guide presented here is a great work around!
Thank you for video, I wish I had known it only did the 5/8" binding, before I bought, theyll prob come out with one later thats adjustable. but in the meantime I guess I can use my zutter bind it all to use ather size bindings.
@cherylh6360 I would be interested In buying this from you, I am moving out of the country and I cannot wait for the next release date... please let me know if you are interested! Thank you so very much!
Love this video! Informative, thank you!! What size coil- continuous wire did you use, I’m want to try it, I don’t like how the others pop open after time
Hi, how much inches from the left side of the paper untill end of the gaps? I mean, I want to design something on computer but I have to know where the gaps would be, so my design fits perfectly. Hope you’ll answer🙏🏻
Hello there! I saw that you mentioned that it can punch up to 2mm thick. Can this handle chipboard that thick? What other stiff materials do you think it could handle? Acetate maybe? TIA ❤
I am at the point where I am going to give up before starting. I have all the supplies just not the tools themselves. I am trying to decide which one I need because trying to get things shipped to Canada is so ridiculously costly

Lol, the hack is to make the hole spacing more uniform top to bottom. Sometimes when you punch the paper you end up with a larger gap at the bottom than the top when you use their guide.
It's where their math came out for that size paper when you use their guide. It's hard to accommodate for any size you could possibly punch with this tool, so they picked a happy medium for the different sizes. I found that after using it so much, the ease of use outweighs the spacing if I'm doing multiple albums. If I do a specialty item, I like the spacing to be more uniform.
They were available on HSN, but sold out. If you google, Amazon, cherry on top, and a couple others have it. You can get restock notifications from scrapbook.com if you prefer to purchase there, or HSN does also.
@eramaehermosilla3474 If you are asking about plastic comb binding, no, it doesn't work with those. The binding fingers are too wide. Plus this machine can't open them. It's a totally different system. If you are talking about spiral binding, yes, there is a spiral punch, and it works great!
Where did you buy this? This model I could not find on Amazon or HSN. And does the punch attachments come with it or do you have to purchase them separately? Love the video, but it would help a lot if you list where you purchased them from. Thanks😊
It's the We R Memory Keepers Multi Cinch tool from HSN. Only 3 of the punches come with it on HSN. Unfortunately sold out out, here's a link if you want to look at it. www.hsn.com/products/we-r-memory-keepers-multi-cinch-book-binding-tool-bundl/20747068
it annoys me that the top hole is a different space from the edge of the paper from the bottom hole. I want the holes even on the page. It isn't worth the price.
As usual another great tutorial!
The notebook guide is GENIUS‼️
This is by far the most comprehensive guide of the machine. I saw a ton of videos and they explain very little about the guides and the crimping at the back etc.

Yes, just have to buy the proper ratio of spiral. I believe it's 2:1 and it doesn't matter what diameter, whatever fits your project.
Such a well done and comprehensive instructional vid!

tips on cutting though chipboard
Can you make 4:1 holes by using 2:1 spacing and then going back and doing additional punches between those?
this is another must have thanks for sharing
It really is! 😊❤
Great information.😊❤
Wow that’s so cool!
TIA ❤
Yes on chip board, not sure on other materials like acetate, Haven't tried yet.
I am at the point where I am going to give up before starting. I have all the supplies just not the tools themselves. I am trying to decide which one I need because trying to get things shipped to Canada is so ridiculously costly

Great video, love all your tips and tricks, but I did not understand your hack 🙃
Lol, the hack is to make the hole spacing more uniform top to bottom. Sometimes when you punch the paper you end up with a larger gap at the bottom than the top when you use their guide.
How’s that one called? I have the mini cinch and you can’t change the hole thing. Where did you get that one?
I'm quite sad it only holds 5/8 wires/spiral. I needed bigger ones because my projects are thick. 😢
Can you explain please why in the first example that the holes were not equally spaced at the top and bottom ?
It's where their math came out for that size paper when you use their guide. It's hard to accommodate for any size you could possibly punch with this tool, so they picked a happy medium for the different sizes. I found that after using it so much, the ease of use outweighs the spacing if I'm doing multiple albums. If I do a specialty item, I like the spacing to be more uniform.
That machine you can cinch pages 8x11 and larger?
Yes you can cinch 8x11 or larger, your not limited by length just size of binding wire. It only does 5/8"
What if you need to undo the crimped/bent booklet to either add or take away a page?
You would have to pull the crimps apart individually by hand and use a new wire to bind it up again.
Great Demo & Information, thank you!
I have the mini. Can you purchase the different cartridges? Or do you have to purchase the machine so you can swap out the cartridges?
Unfortunately You have to buy the new machine that takes the cartridges, if you like the mini, you'd probably love the versatility of the multi cinch!
❤😊
Can you use 2-1 sprials
When will they be available?
They were available on HSN, but sold out. If you google, Amazon, cherry on top, and a couple others have it. You can get restock notifications from scrapbook.com if you prefer to purchase there, or HSN does also.
link to all supplies pls
can it be used with a plastic ring bind?

5/8" from scrapbook.com, they came in a pack of 30 for $20ish and said they were for the multi cinch.
Thank you. All out of stock.
Hello.how to get this set?
Where did you get the disc cartridge?

it annoys me that the top hole is a different space from the edge of the paper from the bottom hole. I want the holes even on the page. It isn't worth the price.
