My grandchildren love when I repurpose old books and make journals for them. It is worth its money. You can laminate the covers before you punch, it makes for a sturdier book.
Thank you so much. I purchased a cinch, sold it and re-purchased it and have had it for two years in the box. I just made my first project thanks to this video
I want to make some recipe books, with all my favorite recipes, to give as Christmas gifts. You could also make a personalized coloring book. Just print our coloring sheets and bind them together.
I have the original Cinch machine. When I was a youth leader Of 3 and 4 year olds at our church, I would make a little photo album with pictures of our activities that we did through out the year. I think the parents liked them just as much as the kids did and I enjoyed making them.
I’ve bound scoresheets for our favorite card game “65”. I give them as gifts and keep one for myself! When my high school class celebrated a reunion, I bound the booklets each classmate received. It was a wonderful keepsake!
My uncle gave me one of these when my aunt passed away and i had no idea what it was for…now i do and I’m super excited to try and make some cute notebooks with it ❤
Late to the party lol, and not sure if someone already mentioned, but I used this to bind all of my daughters baby shower cards to create a keepsake. I made a front and back cover and added the actual cards between.
I've had mine for years, you can make calendars, recipe books with tabs, notebooks with fabric covers.... I have a kind of ruler that tells you what size of binding wires you need! It's an amazing tool! 😊😊
I'm from Spain, and I bought mine in a store here. They call it "binding template." I'll give you the link of the one I have ruclips.net/video/4HNaZCa6ZnU/видео.htmlsi=8AqbcetAXnS75EHm
I have had one for years. I have made notebooks and flip chats. This make me want to pull it out and create a new notebook. I use chip board with decorative paper glued down to give the notebook more stability. I love creating my own little notebooks to give as gifts
Thank you so much for this video. I have had my cinch for about 4 years now and have been too afraid to use it. After watching your video, I'm now excited to use it. I love all your videos, especially with your calming voice and patience. It relaxes me and helps me to enjoy crafting.
Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial. I’m getting my cinch in the mail tomorrow and I thought I better look at some tutorials before attempting to use it. Your tutorial is so informative. I hate reading directions! Probably because they’re so hard to understand. But watching someone else do it is so much easier to understand. So, thanks a bunch!
I bought this machine because I really wanted to buy some things, and plus my grandchildren. Also want to do that as well. I seen a video that they had on Amazon and I was like oh that looks easy. But when I got it home, it was a different story. You have the best video out there. And you explain it so well I am now making them with no problem at all. Thank you so much for your great video. It was extremely helpful.! Also love that you painted your fingernails the same color as the pink. Great touch.!
I totally remember as a kid going with my mom to her work and playing with a binding thing like that and I would make little notebooks with different color paper. It’s kind of nostalgic for our generation maybe. Thanks for influencing yet another crafting gadget I must get. 😂
Awesome that you could figure out how to use it as a kid. When I was in school for design we had to do a project with binding like this and I failed horribly. The teachers called my notebook "dangerous and sloppy".
Pretty notebook! I’ve had my cinch for a year now and have used it several times. Yes! Follow those instructions! I found it particularly important to press the spiral binding multiple times turning it slightly to get it closed nice and round rather than oval (slightly squashed!). Hopefully that helps anyone who struggles with that part!
I so appreciate the comprehensive tutorial. You may want to try the Cinch chipboard and the WRM bookguide. The guide will help you measure a cover for any size chipboard and the chipboard as a cover can better protect the contents of a journal or book. Thanks again for your time. Its greatly appreciated
I have the mini cinch, but I have found it to be a great way to bind my kimberbelle instructions into their own little books and also for all to socialites blocks if you ever get more into quilting and want to get free designs that come out as a sew along for several weeks or other QAL’s or embroidery instructions.
I just got my Cinch for our homeschooling curriculum and was so overwhelmed! I am not crafty by any means. This video was awesome and so helpful! Thank you!

Lovely video as always. Just a small tip, though I am sure you have figured that out already, you can punch a lot of pages at once and I punch all of the pages for the first half of the page, then adjust the machine and do the second half. It is so easy because they have figured it all out for you so the holes all line up. I had bunch of painting books that were bound. I unbound them and made them spiral so I could make the pages lay flat when I was doing a project. I have not done anything in a while-you have inspired me to make some little notebooks for my grand daughter.
Love this! Your instructions are amazing and encouraging! I have a weakness for pretty notebooks, journals , and scrapbooks. I think I need this! Love the new series of Tuesday tools, back to basics and a sprinkling of card creations! You give us do much inspiration and kindness! Thanks for the hardwork!

Thanks to you I just made my first spiral notebook using the Cinch. An amazing machine with your excellent instructions. I look forward to what you will make with it again.
This is just what I needed to see. I was debating whether to purchase the Cinch, but it looked very difficult to use. Thank you for your video because it's not hard at all, I'm getting one for sure.
You always make such sweet and pretty things! Thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas! I used my cinch to make a home binder. I made policy envelopes from decorative paper and used them as the pages to store our important documents. Also covered chipboard with decorative paper to use for the front and back covers. 😊
I love how easy yo make the projects. I would love to see what else you make with the cinch. I haven't used mine but today I'm gonna try to make a notebook, but while watching you I thought about making sketch notebook for my grandkids. The prices have gone wild with just blank pages..so you just gave me a great idea!!
I love my cinch. It’s amazing love your tutorials 🥰🌸 you can use digital papers print them off with a computer and laminate them to make for journal covers or book covers or just design your own covers in canva 😊
I love my cinch!!! So excited to see a pink one 💗. I love to purchase printable planner pages and bind them into a customized planner… I get to choose the cover and all of the calendar and planner pages that are functional for me.
