    For designer covers I use waterproof inkjet sticker paper from online labels and after I print my design I apply it and wrap around chipboard sheets. Then I cut a plain piece 1/4” smaller on all sides to cover inside of cover. Make a professional look that is protected. Sometimes I also use self sticking laminate sheets for extra protection.

    I wrapped some parchment/greaseproof paper around the spine are before I put it in slots to protect it, plus next one I do I will put some masking /low tack tape down the edges of the cover where it meets the spine to protect from any glue overflow

    Great idea on how to do a cover. I subbed, liked, alarmed because of this as I am a beginner and never seen anyone do it like this before.

    Great tips, especially about adding ribbon to back and not opening for 24hrs. Have you tried placing book inside of wax/parchment paper before inserting into TC?

      Someone just suggested the parchment paper and thank you for the tip too. I would of never thought of it. I just stuck a piece in my machine for the next book I make, this way I don't forget. I will let everyone know if it works. XOXO Happy Crafting!

    Maybe try adding parchment or butcher paper around the binding when inserting into the cinch?

    Will it do a 140 page bind

    • @justcraftingalongtogether
      @justcraftingalongtogether  24 дня назад +1

      It might depending how thick your papers are. The paper along with the spine will need to fit in the machines opening and that is about 1 1/2 inches. The spine will need to be made bigger with a wider base and a few more glue strips side by side. I hope this helps! XOXO Happy Crafting.

    Could you use double sided tape as well?

    • @justcraftingalongtogether
      @justcraftingalongtogether  5 месяцев назад

      I did use 12 x12 sheets of double sided adhesive In my other Thermal Cinch Videos. I wanted to try Mod Podge to see how well it worked and I do think I will be going back to double side adhesive. XOXO Happy Crafting!
