Seeing these comment full of defending fanboys is mind boggling. Do you guys realise it's an early access and therefore any problems are fine. You would be willing to defend an alpha test like it's a fully released game. Ori games were awesome, polished products, this isn't it, it's not meant to be at the moment. Though it definitely hurt the developer because of the high standard of Ori.
The issue is the people giving criticism as if it’s a full release game, it’s the absolute opposite. It’s in early access, optimizations and polish is literally the last thing devs do in a dev cycle. It’s optimize as you go but the majority happens towards the end. When someone starts their feedback with “I can’t believe this game doesn’t have”, that’s when I can tell they don’t know what early access is. Instead of framing it that way how about “here’s how this can be improved.” There’s a difference in that framing.
4070 Ti Super - 4K on balanced mode (or whatever is the second lowest, still looks good though) - around 90-100 FPS average. It is unstable and jumps around, but dips below 70 are very rare. With VRR definitely playable no problem. On max details it still has issues yeah, and DLSS is not yet implemented, but the claim that you need 4090 to play it is definitely not true. But otherwise I agree that so far it is very unfinished and kinda overhyped. I refunded on Steam till they work on it a little more, will see.
2070 Super, Aside from the odd dip when loading a new zone it runs fine for me too. Love everyone saying the durability is too punishing in the start zone when you get free repairs, It is like people have not played the game themselves and are just echoing other peoples complaints to just cash in on the current topic.
Early access, PC only. The real market are the consoles and they aren't even posting a release date or taking pre-orders. PC players are just beta testers these days.

I’m on a 3060 and having a blast. Definitely get some crazy drops in high density areas (rare) but I truck through them because A. I know it’s an early access title and by definition is still in alpha development and B. Because the game is hella fun.
Devs seem to lack basic common sense when designing games these days. I've been playing LE since launch and the questionable terrible design choices just boggles my mind. WHY?? why is this in your game? this makes no sense. One mechanic specifically is the fact that crafting mats go to your inventory instead of the craft mats stash forcing the player to open their inventory every few min to click send to stash then click sort all while not dying to off screen attacks.
Refreshing hearing someone in the arpg community not completely overhyping it. I'm sure it's good once they fix performance issues, but it's much more for dark souls players than it is for arpg players in my opinion. Camera angle isn't *that* important at the end of the day. I also disagree with the devs going so far as calling it "a natural evolution of D2". It's less of many things D2 fans loved, not more. Again, sure it's a good game. But I'm tired of seeing unrealistic expectations in this space. Same happened to Last Epoch just the other day. "Omg, it's the best arpg eveeer!!1" - Couple of weeks later, no one plays or mentions it again..
Whole heartedly agree with everything you said, especially the durability. I was absolutely dumbfounded being stripped down to my bare ass, with nothing but my fists to use as weapons after dying to a boss a handful of times. What a bullshit mechanic.
@@whit3shad3 After that, it is like 40 -80 bronze to repair, this is like 2 item drops, so it really is not an issue. Plus they have now made it even less punishing in the latest patch, so I really do not know why people are making it out to be this game breaking design choice.
@@Cirrus_Minor It's just tedium. Simple as that. Do you really enjoy the flow of learning a boss fight, only to be interrupted by having to run back to a blacksmith to repair your stuff? All the power to you if you like that shit, but I find it boring and annoying. I'm not alone either, if you jump on their forum, you'll see that it is one of THE most complained about mechanics in the game, and for good reason! So you can be all 'git gud scrub' all you like, but there is ABSOLUTELY no skill or enjoyment involved in wasting your time repairing shit every certain number of deaths. It is BAD DESIGN. Period!
@@blad... That is such a dumbass response. Can't believe you're defending a shitty game mechanic by telling me I'm a noob. I've beaten games like Elden Ring and Sekiro, they were tough, but I really enjoyed them. So difficulty is not the issue here. In those games, no matter how many times I die at a boss... I'm allowed to keep trying without interruptions. And that's the problem with NRFTW. I love the difficulty. Just not the punishment of mindless busy work because I'm dying to a boss that is DESIGNED to kill me a lot. But something tells me you didn't write your comment to debate or offer anything constructive, but just to be an annoying little troll cunt. That enjoys getting under people's skin and feed off them... like a parasite.
I have a RTX2070 Super, I get pretty solid FPS (60+) on balanced, at 1080p most of the time, I will get the odd hitch when loading into a new place but it is very minor. Not sure what is going on in your video, but I do not get stutters that bad on my PC or even my Steam Deck. To talk about your durability issue, You are focusing too much on souls like games, Unlike any of the souls games, the enemies do not respawn upon death or using a bonfire, So the progression is actually a lot easier. you can repair for free in ther start zone as well untill you kill the tutorial boss, so the game does not punish you at all for exploring. After this, the amount of item drop is far more than enough to cover repair costs. They have addressed the Keybinds in a community post and will be adding this in. All in all this is a very poor video review, it is giving me strong cuphead review vibes.
@@rng81 Excuse, for what? Isn't that exactly what Early Access is for, so that these things can be given as feedback to the devs? After so many people have reported that issue back, I assume that this will soon be in. So what's the problem?

4060 runs it completely fine
Yeah, I've 4060Ti and works without any issues. I play on High Quality.

Buy early access and complain game isnt ready?
Game should be stable after 6 years of development
2 weeks later and you have your key rebinding. Maybe you can stop ranting and appreciate the work of the devs.

That’s why it’s called „EARLY“ Access
