I was just at Ikea two days ago and I looked at their bag storage three times and decided not to get it, now I'm kicking myself. Great ideas, love them all. Thanks for the inspiration. On my way back to Ikea, glad it's local.
@@TheDailyDIYer Your craft space may only be 7x12 but you and Brian sure did a great job with your storage setup. It’s a beautiful space Shannon and I appreciate your suggestions. Hopefully this summer my space will be moved and revamped. I do have some of the IKEA storage containers and they’re not only great containers but they’re decently priced. Have a fantastic weekend. 🤗 #kindnessmatters
I just need a craft room. We downsized when we moved back to Southern California and I soooooo miss having a craft room with organized things....right now my bedroom looks like Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby blew up🤣🤣🤣🤣
I work out of my bedroom also. I was trying to think if I could downsize my clothing to a dresser and turn my closet into a craft closet. 😜 But I don’t think that will work.
I have never been to Ikea :-/ I just watched Liz Fenwick's video on Ikea products and now your video.... I WANNA GO NOW!! 😆 I do have one about 30 minutes from me and it looks HUGE! So i may have to plan and make a day of it!! Thanks for sharing!!❤
Thank you Shannon! The hack with your florals in the shopping bag holder is exactly what I have been looking for! None of the other ideas have been quit right for me. This is perfect!
I have 2 of the Alex Drawers and absolutely love them. The drawers seem small BUT don't let them fool ya, they hold a ton of stuff. Also have the metal buckets that hold scissors, Pens and such! Thanks, now I want to go to IKEA!!!!!! Thanks Shannon!
I almost got those! I was thinking - floating counter top and then those under so I could roll them around if I needed them but then saw this NORDLI drawers and fell in love! I'm sure I'll "need" the Alex units somewhere at some point. They look so useful!
It is 12.44 am here... watched the video and I gotta say something ....you are amazing girl. AT LAST ! I FOUND SOMEBODY WHO GOES STRAIGHT TO THE POINT about storage and exactly what she uses! Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing all these great ideas! I’m working on updating my craft room 😁 On the Nordli drawers do you feel like they can’t handle heavy stuff?
These are great suggestions.. I don't use IKEA as there is only one store & it is at the WA State & OR Border. All these prices sound great however I did notice that alot of the stores have raised their prices since the pandemic. Thank you again for your time & many talents. See you next time with more great ideas.
I like how you did your craft room. I only have shopped at IKEA a couple of times. I would love to get those cabinets but I don't think I will be able to put them together myself. I had. bought the Alex 9 drawers which took my son months to come to my house and put it together for me and that was for my make up that is over flowing. At the time I didn't have art supplies. Right now I am using the Orgami that I purchased from either QVC or HSN. It was not hard to put together.. I also have a 3 tier cart that I purchased at Michaels. I will check some of your other videos. I have been watching a ton of craft room tours.
If you have a $5 Below close to you, they also have the clear shelves for $5 and they're the same or longer than most I've found online for$13 and up.and they also have my fave, the clear acrylic corner shelves
Hi Shannon, you have such a beautiful and functional space! It looks so high end and is so well thought out! Would you happen to have the name of the kitchen cabinets and pulls that you got from your hardware store and used as your desk? I love the countertop you picked as well. I can’t for the life of me, put two rolls of vinyl in the same row in those bag organizers. I love that you used it to store floral! I was looking for a solution! Thank you so much for a tour of stunning craft room!
Great ideas! Glad to see your craft room setup. We’re in the middle of building a house and one of the bedrooms will be my craft room. Not sure how I want to set it up or even what kind of furniture I want in there but this video gave me some awesome ideas. Thank you! 😃
Thanks for this video! Once my daughter moves out, I will have a craft room and have been working on how to style. I could implement several of these ideas.
You have a great craft room. Did you also get those large units that is opposite your standing work station from ikea? If so, do you know what they are called? If not, where did you get them?
I'm so glad you can see the work and thought process involved! I actually had this originally 6' wide and it was nice to be able to stretch it to 7' in the planning process to allow the extra walkway space. Compact but functional.
Very useful. How about your printer and other large tools - maybe wood working tools? Have you found a good way of organizing them without keeping them too out of reach and difficult to access?
The wall cabinet I didn't open has my tools - handsaw/miter box, brad nailer, drill, etc. It's not pretty but it fits and is handy! My other tools I keep in my workshop
@@TheDailyDIYer I recenlty got a miter saw (7 1/4" blade) and I'm wondering where to put it in my craft room when I re-do it soon. Thanks for the help!
Hey I’m driving 3 hours to the nearest IKEA to get stuff! I do it once a year or so...it’s like the annual pilgrimage to IKEA ! I tell my family “ I want IKEA stuff for my birthday and Christmas” There is literally nothing that beats the IKEA furniture foe getting a space organized. Hi Shannon, hope you and your family are keeping well and safe. I love love IKEA, I have their big kallax shelving unit, its ideal for my little craft room. I have also got their rattan jars for buttons, table confetti gems and mini items like that. I find IKEA ideal for craft storage and at an affordable price.
