  • Hi Guys!
    In this video I'm answering one of my most asked questions. I'm going to show you how to fill a nail without flooding the cuticle area!
    This video should be a big help to all of you out there who struggle with lifting and I also give you a quick refresh on how to properly pick up a bead which will help enormously when it comes to not flooding those cuticles.
    Kirsty

    My teachers never once told me to hold the nails pointed down. I always have trouble with flooding the cuticle even though I use small beads and now I know why. I always tilt the nails up or hold them flat.

    When she said she doesn't know one person who doesn't pick at lifting I looked at my thumb which I had just picked at lol

    • @leannes1083
      @leannes1083 4 года назад

      No, when she said that I nearly shouted "me, me! I don't pick at them!" at the screen. But I bit my nails 🤦🏼‍♀️til I was 16, so I've spent the last 20 years trying to keep them nice! I taught myself gel, and kirsty has taught me acrylic (though I do still get the odd frustrating issue every now and then!) My friend's nail tech daughter used to do her nails, until she asked me to try doing them, (eek was I nervous!) now she won't let anyone else do them, so I'm thinking about doing a proper course now, just not sure what course would be best. Kirsty is sooo booked up every time I look!😩😩😩

    It took me years to stop myself from picking at just my nail polish. Even if it was fresh and had absolutely no ridges, I still scraped and peeled at them. I finally got out of it, but picking at acrylic ridges is far too tempting. This video definitely helped with my application, reducing the actual things I want to pick at. Thanks :)
