    Nice choice to add only fancy goldfish. Perfect for the space. Guessing this corner doesn't get too much direct sunlight based on the dark green coloration of the small bush and the broadleaf ground cover. That probably helps keep algae down. Very nice.

      Thanks for comment, I am sorry I did not record the clip when I made it. Anyway I can share you that I order this pond at my design from the cement workshop, the diameter of this pond: 1.2 m, depth: 0.6 m. This depth is minimum required to help fishes sinking to the bottom of pond in case danger or to avoid heat from sunlight.TO keep water clean, I am applying both: physical and chemical method.
      Physical method: I used 04 tank: sediment tank,(with water pump inside), pre-filter then fine filter and finally UV light before water going back to the pond.
      I run this system about 15 - 18 hrs/day
      Chemical method: I used hydro Peroxide (50%) every day pouring directly to the pond. Please be careful when using this chemical, you need to test suitable volume using with pond as too much it will kill fishes, if less no affect. Also, don't let it contact to skin/ eyes... This hydro Peroxide is very helpful, it also kill algea. I invite you to see my other clip name: How to use Hydro Peroxide 50% for goldfish pond next to this clip to see how I used and how water and pond clean.
      Many thanks for concern and have a nice week end.

    Đặt 1-2 chậu súng Thái dưới đáy hồ đi bạn. Cho đến khi cây súng chưa phát triển đủ để che phủ 50% mặt nước làm chỗ nghỉ ngơi cho cá, thì mỗi ngày chỉ nên mở lọc 2 tiếng buổi sáng và 2 tiếng buổi chiều thôi. Dòng chảy quá mạnh tội bầy cá.

    • @cuteo6716
      @cuteo6716  6 лет назад

      Cám ơn bạn đã góp ý, mình đã đặt thử mấy loại cây này rồi nhưng thực tế thì hồ sẽ bị dơ mau hơn do phân cá đọng lại, lá cây thối rữa và bản thân cá vàng rất háu ăn nên nó hay làm bứt rể cây, lá v.v... dẫn đến nghẹt lọc. Mình để dòng chảy mạnh vì nó tạo oxy tốt hơn và khuấy nước ở phía dưới giúp cho các tạp chât lơ lửng sẽ bị hút vào lọc nhanh hơn, nhiều hơn làm cho nước trong. Mình cũng đã quan sát cá, tụi nó thích " tập thể dục" với dòng nước, nó cứ bơi ngược dòng đã rồi thì bơi ra chỗ khác, mình nghĩ nó không bị stress vì tụi nó rất khoẻ, háu ăn và bơi lội liên tục, cá bị yếu hoặc stress rất dễ biết nó sẽ nổi lờ đờ hoặc chìm dưới đáy, biếng ăn.... Ngoài ra, hồ trống cũng rất dễ vệ sinh.

    Pond water looks nice and clear. I have a fancy goldfish pond also. I really don't like plants in the gold fish pond because a lot of waste gets stuck under the pots and gravel. Goldfish don't clean it out like koi do.

    • @upahtv
      @upahtv 6 лет назад

      But the fish need that plants to regulate the oxygen inside the water. It is not because you like it or not. Stop your ego. Poor fish

    • @upahtv
      @upahtv 6 лет назад +1

      The size of the pond like in the video needs at least two pieces of small aquatic plants.

    • @cowpigcop9903
      @cowpigcop9903 6 лет назад

      Upasuhut Jurnal This is false. Water movement at the surface provides all the oxygen that fish need. I do happen to agree though that plants should be added but for hiding spots and a sense of security.

    • @cuteo6716
      @cuteo6716  6 лет назад

      Yes, I fully agreed with you, it is the best that not putting any things inside ponds, it will create more algea and garbage, I did put it before but finally i had to take it off.

    Please tell something about the filter used.

    • @cuteo6716
      @cuteo6716  6 лет назад +1

      I used one sediment tank and put water pump inside this tank, water from pond going to this tank first, after that water pump will pump water to another tank called air-tight pre-filter tank, this tank will filter sediments still floating in the sediment tank, after that, pressure will push water from this air-tight pre-filter tank to another air-tight tank called fine filter tank, this tank will hold all remained tiny sediment to keep water clean, after this tank, pressure will push water go through one final air-tight tank with UV lamp inside, this one will help us to kill algea, then water going back to the pond as you saw. I also used additionally hydro oxygen 50% with volume 90ml for my pond volume about 450 liters. Please be careful with this one, don't let it contact directly to your skin or eyes.... it is very strong it can make your skin burn. That is all, water always clean and crystal.
      One thing more, every day, the put about 5% of new water and pump out the same volume.
      Hope you will have a great pond.

      Frankly, it depends on fishes, usually, when dark came, fishes will sinkk itself to the bottom of pot, the water is deep enough to avoid rats or cats attacked. Beffore sleeping I also feed them some food to make sure fishs will not be hungry to hunt around at night time...

    Hi very beautiful pond and fishes tooo, can u show how filtration is working thanks

    • @cuteo6716
      @cuteo6716  6 лет назад

      Dear Manju, I had as follows: 1. small sediment tank to put pump and water unfiltered from pond, from this sediment tank, pump will pump unfiltered water to another filter, this filter just called pre-filter to hold sediments, after that water will go to another filter called fine filter, in this both pre and fine filter you need to have waste cocks to throw out dirty waters or sediments in case you need, after fine filter, water needs go through another tanks contained UV lamp (i used 40 watt lamp) to kill algea or bacteria then water - now very clean like crystal - will go back to pond, you need to control the flow, as my experience flow too weak will not help circulate sediments moving to sucking holes at the bottom of ponds, flow too strong will create stress to fishes. For filter materials,you can buy from any aqua store but please tell them clearly what type of filter you use so that they can sell you the proper one.
      Tips: water quality is very important, it is top of top priority, please treat how water good then you can think what type of fishes you will feed, you need to make sure how you can control water before feeding.
      Thanks and good luck.... Enjoy your wonderful days with fishes.

    what about those predators? like the hawks, eagles, other birds? what about cats? are those goldfish safe from those preadtors? i recommend you place an overhead net-type of barrier.

      Media Wizards , i feed them two times per day with foods produced by Sakura, Thailand. One time feed just good enough for them to eat within three minutes to make sure they eat all, nothing remained after three minutes to avoid foods remain will create algea bloom.

      Hi, I ordered bowl at my design then bring it to my garden, I had two filters and one UV light (40w) and one pump (40w). If possible, you use hydro peroxide to control algea (Outdoor ponds with more than 06 hours sunlight per day will easy to create lagea)

    • @cuteo6716
      @cuteo6716  6 лет назад +3

      Thanks for question, This pond actually it was a big tree pot, made of concrete, for water circulation, I used one sediment tank then one pre-filter then pure filter and finally, before water going back to the pond, I used one UV lamp to kill algea . Of course I also had one water pump put inside the sediment tank to suck water from the pond and pump water going through tanks as above. Every two days, I sued hydro peroxide 50% with the calculated volume to put to the pond. water quality is very stable and not created bad smell. Fishes are very healthy.

      Maybe some plant pots would be nice, and it's better to have something for them to hide under/in JUST IN CASE a predator attacks.

      The perfect goldfish for a pond is the regular goldfish. Fancy goldfishes are better for aquariums.
      Filter and water quality is also a key.
