This Fish Taco recipe is just fabulous, the cabbage slaw, pickled onion, spices and tzatziki sauce gives this fish taco a whole new take. Looks even easier then pie. lol
Total sucker for fish tacos. Especially salmon. I marinate the salmon in a condiment I make in the food pro. It’s basically the herb drizzle you made but I marinate the salmon in half of a big batch of that and keep the rest for a topping on the tacos. It is sooo good.
What are you putting in the dish underneath the salmon. If you said it, I couldn't catch what it was? I'm not talking about the seasoning on top of salmon but what it was you put in white dish before you put salmon in?
Question: Do you use microgreens & sprouted seeds in Mediterranean food? I ask because I've been eating this way for about 10 months now but because I live alone, fresh vegetables spoil really quickly. I've discovered that a great alternative are countertop grown sprouts, things like mung beans & alfalfa etc. Apparently they pack far more nutrients than mature veg which is great. I still use mature vegetables but I don't have to buy as many different things because the small fresh sprouts take their place and they're delicious. I just never seem to see them in Mediterranean recipes. Thanks.
I suggest higher heat with no lid or aluminum foil. Unless you have an oven safe lid, use that. But since you prefer no foil, bake it at a higher heat on the highest level in the oven. But this will only get it too dry. Or you can, pan fry it on both sides, remove the salmon to another oven safe pan, and use the same 375° temperature to finish it off. Note, if the pan you pan fry the salmon is over safe, just transfer it to the oven. Good luck.
You can try adding a sheet of parchment paper before applying foil paper so there's no contact of the foil paper with salmon, but you can still seal the pan with the foil.

Not knowing about Mediterranean beer, I would pair this with a Mexican beer such as Modelo Especial. Please marry me and we can cook together on my ranch!
