Boy with luv is like a response to their 2014 song "boy in luv" on how they matured from that time and how much they have grown. Back then in 2013 and 2014 they released a school trilogy EPs - "2 cool 4 skool", "o r u l8 2" and "skool luv afair". If you notice, all these three EPs titles are teen language for "too cool for school", "oh are you late too", "school love affair". Boy in luv is a song from skool luv affair.

They mentioned "wings" and "Icarus’s story from Greek Mythology. It's a pretty straightforward lesson about the dangers of arrogance and the importance of humility.
Icarus’s father, Daedalus, builds him wings made of feathers and wax to escape a labyrinth and warns Icarus not to fly too low, where the ocean will ruin the wings, or too high, where the heat of the sun will melt the wings.
Icarus doesn’t heed his father’s warning and in his excitement at his newfound flight, he flies higher and higher until the sun completely melts the wings off his arms and he falls into the ocean and drowns, as interpreted in the two paintings in BTS' 2016 MV _"Blood Sweat and Tears"_
"Boy with Love" is the title track of their 2019 album _"Map of the Soul: Persona"_ . It's all about BTS taking a step back to critically examine their relationship to their fans, and by extension, their current level of fame and success.
In Boy with Luv, the references to the Greek myth and Wings era begin with the lines, “I’m flying high up in the sky, (with the two wings that you gave me back then). Now it’s so high up here, I want you tuned into my eyes.”
Here we have a clear reference to the 2016 album _"Wings"_ and BTS’s unprecedented global success. ARMY takes the role of Daedalus, giving them their wings and launching them into the sky, but “now it’s so high up here”. It’s dangerously high, this current level of fame. They have to be careful not to fall.
I think there’s a bit lost in translation with the line, “I want you tuned into my eyes”, but from what I can tell it seems to be about keeping each other in sight. Not losing sight of the fandom, keeping that connection as much as possible, despite the new, scary heights.

The back wall opening represents the purple logo door for ARMY opening. They always acknowledge ARMY in all of the videos somewhere. They wear Louis Vuitton, - house ambassadors, Dior, Givenchy, Gucci. They have world choreographers that come in and then J-hope is the dance director that keeps them tight.
You should really check out their documentary , “burn the stage “ , to know BTS more , u will be surprised how different they are from other Koop idol.
Bts mostly write and compose their own songs , all their songs are about their own stories, they put in massive efforts to make their own style , own songs to let fans know their own feelings too .
Listen to their songs from debut to latest longs in order and you will know how they grow up from bottom to top .
BTS story is really incomparable.
I'll recommend you to check out BTS introduction videos..for example Blackpink is from YG and BTS is from Bighit there is a lot of differences between the running of these 2 companies... Bighit gives much more autonomy and freedom to their artists..

BTS are 2 days down of a 4 day concert at SOFI stadium.Sold out at pre-sale,the stadium said it's set a record .The concert was announced only a couple of weeks before pre-sale codes were allocated,nobody without the codes got a look in .RUclips theatre next to the stadium also sold out to try to meet demand and the last night is to be live-streamed.
Not sure you guys realise how big BTS are.
BTS are so different&unique from any other group that has existed before or now or even will in the future, they're literally the own one&only versions of themselves,they're much bigger than just kpop!!

Each member in BTS has different styles. It's very evident when you watch their solo stuff. It's all unique. But BTS as a whole cannot be put into a single genre. Cz they do everything. RnB, Pop, Hip Hop, EDM, even Rock. So it's really hard to do that. But you'll know when you react more to them. I suggest reacting to Paradise. It's their best RnB track. It's a B side so react to the lyric video.

I think bts is different from the other k-pop groups expecially blackpink. The blackpink background is not the same bts. They do their music and never behaviar as idols. they are as they appear. they don't try to be different or perfect. you should check their story and their docuseries i think :)

bts and blackpink's background are very different...yes they trained and all but blackpink came from one of the 3 biggest company in korea(yg entertainment) while bts came from a very small and unknown one(bighit entertainment) so they got to the top in their own ways and journey.

which was released on February 2011.
That was like a teen or high school version
"Boy with luv" is like more matured or upgraded version which is about appreciating every little things
bts came from an unknown and small company so it wasn't easy for them to get big and faced many struggles and hardships unlike blackpink who came from one of the top3 biggest company in korea that got more recognition since debut

It’s boy with luv because they have another song called boy in luv from one of their first albums which was named in slang/shortened versions due to teen age because they really did levels of music where they grew with it as well (starting with young teens, to school teens, to young adults, adults etc etc) :)

I hope Thomas has recovered by now. There are three rappers, RM, SUGA and J-Hope. Jungkook rapped a bit when they first started but he doesn’t get to do it much now because they need him as the main singer and each member needs to have their go in group songs. V would love to rap and he has had his chance at special events. RM and SUGA were underground rappers before they joined BTS. Halsey is a special friend of theirs. She bought them bracelets and they gave her a jewelled mic like theirs. If you watch the video about the making of this mv you’ll see how thrilled she was to receive it. I don’t know if she’s ever used it. The jewels on them make them heavy to hold. SUGA has taken them off his because he finds it too heavy after his shoulder surgery.
