I know the course designer, he probably won’t watch the video but I’ll let him know what you said. The designer is Keith Aten, he’s in the Michigan disc golf hall of fame and has hand dyed hundred of thousands of discs for Jbird. We were neighbors years ago, great dude, he’s great with a saw.
I love your videos, they are so relaxing and fun to watch ! Keep it up bro, I look forward to everything you put out. Keep it up, I love all of your content ❤️
I think I had as much fun watching you review this course as you did playing it. I definitely need to check it out, I’m only about an hour drive from there.
I will leave the bare bones van life in your hands. Those days have passed me by. I enjoy those videos for sure. Showing courses from around the country is great. You put a ton of work onto this channel and we appreciate it. Being from Michigan, I'm partial to what you feature in our state. Vines looks like a great course. If ya not having fun what's the point. Cheers!
@JeffAnderson1964 exactly! I feel some lose the point of just having fun, get to focused on other stuff! I'm glad you enjoy the content! MI will always be my focus but it does get a bit snow covered haha
Nice, you got to The Vines! Checked it out this Summer. Saw the sticker I put on 8s garage can is still there haha. 15-16 is a strange design. As a whole it is a unique & nice property. Good course. No van life for me. Thanks for uploads 👍
Great video, just added The Vines course to my ‘wishlist’ I played courses in Freeland, Shields, St.Charles and Sanford on my recent trip south. Absolutely loved The Jungle in Sanford, definitely recommend. I do have to call ya out on the crisp weather comment up in ‘Northern’ MI. Ithaca is definitely below M-46, a good 2.5 hr drive South for me and thus still southern MI, ha. Day old rice makes good fried rice. Maybe fried rice is better the next day? Simply buy your gas station vittles the day before and enjoy in the am? Worth a shot , haha.
Not sure if you've checked it out yet, but Hanson Hills in Greyling is a go-to stop for me when traveling north. They have 2 18-hole courses, Pine Knoll and The Hill. The Hill is seasonal as it's partially on a ski hill. Keep up the good work!
I rank this one right behind Big Chuck (mostly due to Sasquatch signs). Both the Chuck and what we call Reed Park (I didn't know it was actually called The Vines) have a similar feel. The front plays short and the back long, so you can sort of mix and mash based on maybe not having enough time to do all 18. Great coarse though, and great video like always. (I wanted to see a pic of your tripod setup on hole 18!)
The human recharge is great. Sometimes, you just need a charge. I like to take a couple of puffs from a doobie, haha.far, as van life goes i would give it a try, i drive for work up and down the east coast, i sleep in the van at rest stops and play disc golf everywhere. If i didnt have a family i would give it a shot 100%
@tossingplastic it's a great job, keeps it interesting. And I love playing all the new courses. And your reveiws helped me pick some down south when you were traveling.
After a rough day with the kiddos I debate van living every now and again. lol. Go out for milk and hit some courses along the way and eventually come back.
As long as I don't go broke with gas, van life may actually be cool. I'd probably just find a church to park in. At least in my area churches don't care if people park at them for a few days
180 used discs and merch on the website! I would greatly appreciate you guys checking it out!
You have a ton on there! So many one of the kinds and a lot I’ve never seen before. Great collection!
I loved the first disc I ordered from your site so I decided to order another one. Great prices and selection. Nice used disc selection.

@geoffkomdeur9103 well if he's the designer I would hope he could spare 20min haha it got my praises! Props to him
Love this channel, we would love a vlog! Vlogs are great but we appreciate whatever can be made!! You da best disc golf!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much! I enjoyed making the blogs last year! Really appreciate the kind words!
New bucket list course. I really like what I see on this course!
It's a lot of fun!
I love how you say it’s punishing but your having so much fun. That’s the proof a course is so good!
Beautiful view from the 18th tee...and many of the others as well!
One to remember that's forsure!
Fun course. Thanks for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed!
Ive seen those online from time to time, been curious about them

That means a lot to hear! Really appreciate that!
I think I had as much fun watching you review this course as you did playing it. I definitely need to check it out, I’m only about an hour drive from there.
That could definitely be worth it on a free day!

Bring back the van life videos. Also it would be good to show some of the surrounding town/area when you find those getaway disc golf locations.
I could definitely do that! thanks for the input!
Oshtemo was incredible when i was on that side of the state. Robert Moris is another kalamazoo area banger
@@hanukebaba1 it's a good but but I definitely enjoyed oshtemo more!
There was a time I dreamed about van life, but sadly, that ship has sailed for me. Thanks for another fantastic video, Hunter
Glad you enjoyed it! It's never to late just need one of those super nice sprinter vans haha
Great video! Looks like nice course.
Glad you enjoyed it! It was a great one !

Thank you! Some felt a bit weird but the overall course made it not so bad haha
Great video, just added The Vines course to my ‘wishlist’

I respect that people in or close to the UP can still call us out haha!
For sure an 8ft ceiling there. You gotta be what 8’1? 8’2? 😂
Yea around there haha!
Great course
It sure was a blast!
So both my husband and I love the Valkyrie disc for our Flippy disc...It makes a perfect S shot every time...
@stephaniefreeman6040 oh its my favorite of all time !

Is the hill still open?!

I should have taken one but time was of the essence haha
You'll see wind turbines from a tee pad if you ever go to Norbrook Farm in CT, pretty sweet.
I would love to get to CT some time !
I trusted you until the buying food at shell comment.
😂
Fun video!
Hey man don't hate haha glad you enjoyed it!
No one builds human chargers out of pine anymore. The energy density of composite material is so much higher. Have fun!
“Does that count? Does that count?”
Yes- yes it does.
I'm glad you understand haha

Doesn't sound like a bad set up over there!

@brandongreen9381 love to hear it! Happy it helps

Piwakawaka only par was great! What do you think about choosing 1 disc and playing a 9 hole course with it?
Although your van life looked so elegant last winter, I think you jumped the shark when you conveniently lost your debit card. 🥴😉😂
Yea I also miss being stuck for 5 weeks in a town of 2,000 people in the middle of Georgia haha!
Hole 13, i want to see that Player B putt
I only leave them in if they are worth seeing haha!
I couldn't tough it. I'd do it with a prepped Sprinter. But no way I could make it the way you do.
Haha I hope to get one of those someday !
As long as I don't go broke with gas, van life may actually be cool. I'd probably just find a church to park in. At least in my area churches don't care if people park at them for a few days
I havent had the best luck with churches, but that's more of nobody ever answers the phone to talk to haha
oakwood in metamora michigan is sick
Haven't heard of that one! I'll look into it!
@@tossingplastic its super fun and barely anyone plays it
@@tossingplasticIm in northern metro detroit and know alot of the gems around the thumb hit me up if u want to play when your down this way more
Since the Dutch bought out Shell, the fried rice quality has just gone to crap!
It really is a shame
